An intense wave of weakness assaulted Cole as his legs shook and he almost fell to the ground. Following that weakness was intense pain allover his body and an almost bottomed out energy pool. Cole was shocked, and his emotions were allover the place as he felt sad, scared, angry, broken, weak and melancholic all at the same time.
It was as if every negative emotion his body could possibly muster had crashed down upon him with more force than anything he had ever experienced in his life. He had fought with a single minded focus, way too much focus, driven by wrath that was unlike anything he had ever felt.
Cole knew he had been angry, that was the basis of the [Wrath Drive] skill. It would take that emotion and amplify it, giving boosts and bonuses to your attacks, your speed, strength and skill. But Cole understood it, because Black Malakai was now a part of him as much as he was a part of it. The sword did not drive him berserk and make him crazy….
It only brought out the darkness that has been slumbering in his heart, and seeing how it turned out…. Cole was decidedly terrified…. Wrath was not all fiery and explosive as the world had taught him….. it was cold, focused, inevitable, unstoppable, and it did not just destroy your enemies….it destroyed you too.
*Ziiing!*
Cole dodged quickly, barely making it in time to dodge the massive beam of light that had come from the finally eyeball. It was at least three times the size of the others, making it roughly the size of a small car or something along that size…. Perhaps a massive beam bag Instead of a car…. It really wasn't that big, just really round.
The tentacles on the body of this eyeball was red and had serrated discos on its tentacles that went up to the main body and covered it. It took a second more for Cole to realized that what he was looking at were scales. He felt a buzz from his revolvers and Black Malakai at the same time, they hungered for battle, and seamlessly, Cole fell into a stance as if he had trained it for all of his life…. Perhaps for many lifetimes more.
[Black Demon Swordsmanship]
Cole spread his knees apart and had his left hand pointed in the scaled eyeballs direction as if to defend, his sword lay flat on his back like it was in a sheath, but the blade was hidden from view while power built from deep within Cole's body.
Relying fully on his instinct, Cole summoned the energy in his body to coat his blade, an act that would have been possible without a skill to guide it, yet instinct ingrained from the sword to it's master, let him know just what exactly he was dealing with.
There was a pause as Cole and the eyeball observed each other. Each waiting for the other to make the next move. It was almost terrifying as an oppressive atmosphere hung in the air. And then the eye fired, this time instead of one massive beam, it was a salvo of multiple beams, spreading through the hallway to block off any route of escape.
Cole blasted forwards then turned to run on the walls using [Track] a skill attached to his clothes that unlike the name didn't help him track targets, but rather helped him traverse difficult terrains. Improving his movement speed and giving him almost gravity defying ability to walk on most unsteady surfaces like an elf.
He ran off the sides of the wall then pushed his left hand forwards, utilizing [Gravity] to defend against many of smaller lights beams that were heading his way. He had enough energy left for just one skill left, so no matter what he had to make it count. Luckily enough for him, he had gotten close enough.
[Sin Reaper]
The cut was deep, slashing Midway through the eyeballs body before it was blasted backwards, through the hallways before smashing into the double doors that separated the east wing from the rest of the house.
It crashed to the ground rolling to a stop and causing almost everyone down at the foyer to look up, many of them taking quick and rapid steps backwards in order to ensure that they would not be attacked.
Cole appeared out from the darkness, looking every bit like an avenging angel of death. He stumbled to the ground, completely ruining that image, but still picking himself back up. The [Sin Reaper] had stripped the eyeball of it's vitality. And while that had healed a significant part of the injuries he had accrued whilst under the throes of [Wrath Drive] he was still suffering from severe energy depletion.
Cole made his way to the eyeball, it was still very much alive and was struggling up to a standing or rather floating position. There was hideous looking gash on its eye/body and Cole could see the pulsating flesh in it's insides, as well as the tell tale building of light that was the precursor to it's beam attack.
[Sin Eater]
*Yiiiiiiiiiii!*
The cry of pain it let loose sent a chill down the spine of everyone present. And for some reason this time, it took longer than the normal ten seconds to drain the monster, but during the entire fifteen seconds of torture it went through, no a single soul present had the balls to move from where they were standing.
And that was because as Cole drained the creature….. there was a smile more monstrous than anything on his face, as it's screams did not nothing more than give Cole great pleasure….like a true demon.

Cole got up, took one look at the people watching him with a horrified look on their face then shrugged…
"It is, what it is."
