While some people saw what was happening with Cole as creepy or the birth of another monster, he was actually just trying to stay alive as at that point Cole was literally fighting for his life. He had a suspicion about the nature of the darkling seed based on what it had said, but right now with his life hanging on the balance as an onslaught of both energy, and souls, so many of them that he possible couldn't count rushed not through him l, but rather into him. He was pushed to the brink or rather filled until there was no where else for the souls to go but still they kept rushing into Cole's body, making him feel bloated as it seemed as if he was about to explode.

Cole could feel the souls within his body, the darkling woman was not the only human who had been captured by the nest, it just seemed it was just particular to her looks that way it just kept on manifesting her. But ultimately she and the hosts of other souls each unique in their own right but all still vestiges of every chitterlings , Ursalings etc. every freaking darkling that has been manifested or hasn't been, there were not hundreds of souls here, or thousands, there were millions. Somehow the Seed had not utilized them all because with how much of them were now running rough shod within his own body, she should have been able to bury them all.
Something didn't make sense but ultimately Cole was just stuck trying to protect and save his own life. He felt a tug right at the very center of his being, he was taking all these souls into himself, get at the same time he was being pulled right into the seed. It was attempting to take over his own soul, to corrupt it, just as he knew all these souls in his body were corrupted. They were completely unlike the other souls he had stored as they were just filled with anger and gate and all they wanted to do was test the new container they suddenly found themselves apart. And Cole could hear them, their screams of anguish and agony along with their whispers. It was maddening, it was like listening to madness given sound and form and slowly but surely falling into it.
Anger, hate and rage were the emotion that ere on display for Cole, but he couldn't let it happen, dying was not something he wanted to happen at least not at this point in the fight. He had to consider the fact that the other aspirants might not be able to deal with the seed's wrath should he be out of the picture, and he was not saying that to be arrogant but right now he was the only one capable of keeping this creature at bay. Cole could only keep holding on unfortunately unaware of the fact that his body was currently undergoing a change. And then suddenly he lost all sensation and vanished or at least to himself he felt as if he had vanished but he was still on the back of the darkling nest seed, glowing brightly like the sunrise after your first time...…dancing or something.

Cole read through all of the prompts that had come up and smiled a bit. It still didn't say that he had defeated the seed, but he got the feeling that by this point nobody in the Glade probably needed him anymore….at least to beat and defeated the seed with whatever strength it had left. Besides he knew for a fact that Farida was holding back, along with Cassandra too as it seemed as if they were adamantly trying their best to make sure that no one knew all of the moves they had in their skill sets. Cole didn't have that problem because hardly anyone has been able to come up with a sound strategy to use to defeat him, but ultimately that would have to change and he would have to make sure he kept some things in reserve.
"You really are without fear are you? It's no wonder why your name is World Breaker, though I could just kill you, especially now that you're in a weak soul form." Cole did not raise his head from where he was looking at his notifications as he responded.
"Is that what you think, I knew you were there from the very moment you jumped up like a headless chicken, shocked about where you were. Which means we're here by means that is not of your doing, which pretty much makes you useless to me. Plus here you're just a wom....." Cole's words died in his mouth at what he was seeing. The darkling seed or rather this manifestation of her….the darkling woman looked normal, and not just normal she was an elf, a wood elf with their rustic dark and tan skin, with leaves growing out of their hair. But all of those things paper in comparison to her beauty, she was amazing, Cole could safely say that in all of his time he has never seen a woman so beautiful as what he was seeing now, and it moved him.
"I'm sure you're regretting not taking me up on my offer now how, and for your information this is how I really look, not some massive rock that's shaped like a skull, that itself is just a tool…..a curse that I once thought was a blessing and now I can't really get rid of….. but anyways we should finish what we started, we've said everything we need to say to each other."
"And that is a sentiment I will agree with, however I have not yet gotten a chance to speak to you both." Cole got startled and with just a thought Black Malakai materialized in his hand, shocking him as with an idea Blue Obsidian showed up in his left. He pointed the Revolver at the silver humanoid with a mouth full of sharp teeth and no other features. It had no eyes, no ears no hair just a total silver body and sharp teeth in an all too wide mouth.
"Ah! I see you have discovered one of the most fundamental rules of the soul dimension….. this is where all your weapons and items in your inventory are stored. So with just a thought you could summon them all to you to aid you in battle or just to see how they're looking. The soul dimension is what you would call a blueprint for the multiverse, everything meets and exists here at the same time, all times, the past, the present, our present, the future, our…. Or rather your children's future. It takes a great deal of mastery over souls to get here or a stupid move and some ridiculous luck that even I could never foresee."
Cole didn't care for the long talks, he didn't care where he was, all he cared about was the freak and his enemy in the darkling woman. He was feeling cornered so he pulled back the hammer on his gun and asked with steel in his voice. "who and what the fuck are you?"
"I believe it was Yahweh who said 'I am who I am'…. Famous words for you Christians, or I'm sorry Cole yours is a hybrid religion, like the many others that has popped up in your universe as civilization and humanity advanced. But ultimately really fitting words of the divine, a declaration of identity and existence that can not be challenged by anything or anyone.... But forgoing all the dramatics, I believe I am who I say I am when I tell you that I am what you believe to be the system….. or at least a sub-routine of a sub-routine of a sub-routine of a sub-routine of a-"
"We get it! You're a fucking sub-routine now what the fuck do you want!" Cole cut him, she, it? Off. It didn't even sound like a man or a woman so that was down for freak factor.
"I am here Cole 'World Breakers Night to ask you for your help." Cole raised an eyebrow at that, but still kept his gun and blade trained on the so called sub-routine of the system in front of him.
"What do you need my help for?" Cole asked as he waited for an ambush to be sprung.
"Its really simple really….. I need you to kill someone…..again."
