Chapter 33: 30 Full of Sincerity and Kindness (Please Follow)

April 29, Sunday, the weather was sunny with a gentle breeze.

In the outdoor café, people were enjoying the leisurely comfort underneath the sun umbrellas.

On a wooden table near the edge of the flower bed, two glasses of iced orange juice sat.

A tall figure and a shorter one were staring at each other, neither moving, their eyes unblinking, as if engaged in a child's game.

Eventually, a breeze blew straight into Haruka's eyes, bringing a sour sensation that made Haruka Yuzan quickly shut his eyes,

"Ouch, that stings."

"Hahahaha!"

At the moment the boy closed his eyes, Misaki Saki burst into delighted laughter,

"Comparing yourself to me, you're still a bit green."

The self-proclaimed older sister was a shut-in lolita with a natural air of contrast.

"Who's playing this childish game with you."

Haruka Yuzan rubbed his eyes,

Perhaps there was a tacit understanding that when two idiots got together, a chemical reaction would occur.

Misaki Saki had been staring at him for quite a while, and Haruka Yuzan had stared back. They continued this way until, unintentionally, they started a silent contest to see who would blink first.

Until Haruka admitted defeat.

"Just now I was careless. I lost to the wind, not to you."

Feeling his eyes a bit better, Haruka Yuzan then continued,

"We've rested enough, let's go house hunting, and see whether that scumbag is a fat nerd or a handsome guy."

"Pfft, as if he could be a handsome guy."

Misaki Saki gave a very disdainful look and then pulled a phone from her pocket that was almost larger than her palm. She swiped her finger on it a couple of times, quickly found a number, and dialed it,

"How could he possibly be a handsome guy? Just watch me eradicate a pest from society today!"

The phone connected and from the other end began the "tu-tu-tu" sound of ringing,

At the same time, two seconds delayed, Haruka Yuzan's phone in his pocket also began to vibrate.

Taking out the phone and turning off the silent mode, a pleasant ringtone sounded. Misaki Saki was startled, then waved her hand with a laugh and said,

"Oh, you've got a call too!"

"Yeah," Haruka Yuzan smiled and nodded.

"You deal with your things first. That landlord hasn't answered my call yet; I don't know what he's up to." Misaki Saki showed a sly smirk, "He might be afraid to answer my call, knowing I'm coming after him."

No wonder the voice sounded familiar; she'd never have thought the landlord would be the guy she had been playing games with for over a year!

She raised her delicate and cute face, looking at him

"Hey, you're not actually a rich second-generation who owns a house in Tokyo, are you?"

"Yeah."

Haruka Yuzan nodded.

"How can that be?" The reality obviously exceeded the little loli's expectations, and her fair little face fell into self-doubt, "The guy in the game who wouldn't spend a penny and freeloaded."

"I didn't have money," Haruka Yuzan said honestly; it was only in the past couple of days that his wallet had become a little fuller.

He believed that once Misaki Saki moved in, his income would certainly look very good.

"Hmph, I don't believe you!" Misaki Saki pouted, deploying a suspicious look,

"You're up to something."

Haruka Yuzan couldn't help but sigh; these days, people would believe a bunch of lies, but say one big truth, and no one believed it.

Dragging the heavy suitcase, unsure of what was inside but it was quite hefty,

He looked down at the little person beside him, really small, everything about her was small; such a little loli, if hit, would she cry for a longer time?

"The thing I hate the most is when people lie."

"Then tell me the truth," Misaki Saki demanded with her hands on her hips and a defiant attitude.

"You ask."

"About the rental information you posted on the website."

"Ninety-nine percent true."

"The rent?"

"A thousand a day?"

"The room?"

"Almost new, great location, with a private bathroom."

"The cat that does backflips?"

"That... used to, now, with two days of training, should be, maybe, possibly... no problem?"

"Hesitating, huh!"

Misaki Saki snorted coldly, then stood on tiptoe and scrutinized the boy in great detail.

To facilitate a closer look for her, Haruka Yuzan even squatted down a bit, the suddenly close distance and the encroaching breath made Misaki's cheeks turn red.

"What did you see? A face full of sincerity and kindness?"
