The twilight glow in the sky slowly dimmed,
as night crept in, with the dazzling neon lights becoming particularly eye-catching in the dark night.
Women with fiery figures dressed in hot pants and tank tops stood on street corners or in alleyways.
All of this... had very little to do with Haruka.
"Haruka, try this chicken wing."
At the dinner table in the villa, Reiko Onodera placed a golden-fried chicken wing into Haruka's bowl.
"Sure, thank you, Sister Reiko, I can do it myself."
Tonight's dinner was sumptuous,
fried chicken wings, tempura, vegetable salad, stewed sturgeon, and curry beef.
The staple was, of course, white rice.
Misaki Saki, with a piece of tempura in her mouth, looked at the lady beside her and then across at Haruka Yuzan, her big eyes rolling around.
It seemed as if she had thought of something incredibly useless, and she was almost drooling with laughter.
"Just eat your meal, and stop looking around."
Haruka Yuzan couldn't help but interrupt this person.
Tell me, how would you feel if, while you were eating, a little girl kept sending you the lecherous smile of a creep?
Who knows what kind of filthy things this brain of hers could replace me, an upright person, with in her imagination – it's certainly nothing good, and surely Sister Reiko would end up as the heroine of the story.
I understand all too well what these manga artists wish to create.
"Misaki, does the food not suit your palate?" Reiko Onodera asked with some concern.
Reiko Onodera really wanted to get along with her new roommate, even though it seemed a bit difficult...
"No, it's not that, Sister Reiko, your cooking is delicious!"
Glancing at the nearly within reach snow-whiteness,
Misaki Saki swallowed hard and then devoured the tempura she had in her mouth, quickly shoveling a couple of bites of rice to show she was enjoying the meal.
Madam's cooking was indeed great, far more delicious than the frozen fast food she was used to.
It was just that the scene in which Reiko gave Haruka Yuzan his helping suddenly reminded her of the inspiration and material right before her eyes!
"Don't mind her anymore."
......
After dinner,
Reiko Onodera went to clean up in the kitchen,
while Haruka Yuzan sat on the sofa as usual, watching the latest TV series.
In the harmonious and warm family atmosphere,
suddenly, Misaki Saki bumped her little butt against Haruka twice before inquiring cheekily,
"How has the plot developed so far? I don't understand what you're talking about?"
Haruka Yuzan started playing dumb, knowing that during dinner this girl wasn't thinking anything good.
"Tsk!"
Misaki Saki then rubbed up against Haruka again. She was now only wearing a large white T-shirt, and her denim shorts were still lying on the bed.
Haruka Yuzan only had to look down slightly to catch a glimpse from the loose neckline.
Indeed, was this girl not in need of underwear?
To cover each side just right.
It was truly cost-effective and saving on material.
"I don't believe you haven't the slightest bit of personal thoughts about Sister Reiko, a woman brimming with charm!"
"You all worked hard." Reiko Onodera gave a charming smile and then went into the kitchen to prepare some fruit for everyone.
The madam who can't sit still.
"Lalala."
Misaki Saki stuck her tongue out at Haruka,
wondering what such a little mouth would feel like?
....
The night deepened,
and the howling night wind blew outside the window,
creating a serene scene inside the villa with three people and a cat lying on the sofa watching TV.
Haruka Yuzan also wanted to do something, especially with Reiko Onodera, but with Misaki Saki as a burden, it really wasn't convenient.
Sigh.
Glancing at the time, feeling resigned, it was already close to eleven o'clock,
"It's too late, I'm going to bed."
After yawning, he picked up Roast Meat and was about to leave.
"So early? Aren't you a young person anymore?"
"I still have school tomorrow morning, I don't have time to keep you company." As he spoke, Haruka Yuzan had already gone upstairs.
After the boy's silhouette completely disappeared, only Misaki and Onodera were left in the living room.
The little lolita's eyes spun around, seeming like she had succeeded in something, casually asked Onodera, who was watching TV,
"Hey, Sister Reiko, don't you think Haruka is really a good person?"
"Yes, Mr. Haruka is both gentle and kind," responded Reiko Onodera, smiling and nodding in agreement with her.
"Then Sister Reiko, do you like boys like Haruka?"
Only then did Misaki Saki reveal the fangs of a little lolita. Would she stay here to watch TV otherwise? She would've gone back to her room to rush her draft and play games long ago.
"Ah?" Reiko Onodera was taken aback, her heart suddenly pounding twice as fast, nervously, "Why would you ask something like that?"
"Eh, it's nothing, I was just asking!" Misaki Saki again pretended nonchalant and waved her hand dismissively.
"Oh, just discussing these things in front of me is okay, but don't ever say it in front of Haruka."
Reiko Onodera hesitated for a moment, then continued,
"It's not good to let Haruka know about this stuff, he's still of school age."
"It's okay, Sister Reiko."
Misaki Saki stretched, hopped off the sofa,
"It's getting late, I'm going to sleep, Sister Reiko."
After saying that, she trotted up to the second floor with her small, short legs,
"Mmm, okay...."
Only Onodera herself was left in the living room.
Reiko Onodera couldn't help but sigh, her hand on her chest, as she calmed her freshly agitated heart.
She got up, turned off the TV and all the lights in the living room, plunging the villa into darkness.
Mrs. Onodera used the faint light from her cell phone to walk to her bedroom, cherishing the hard-earned peace of her current life,
And all of that thanks to that one person, her young landlord, Haruka Yuzan.
When she reached the second floor, she hesitated at the bedroom door, then turned her gaze towards Haruka Yuzan's room.
No light shone through the crack in the door; it seemed the occupant of the master bedroom was already resting.
