Seeing her peel a full bowl of shrimp for Shen Shuyao, the director nodded in satisfaction. Adding some special effects in post-production would definitely make this scene extra sweet.

On Liang Jie's side, seeing Ji Nian peel shrimp for Shen Shuyao made her jealous. "Xiao Nian, you're making me so sad."

Liang Jie turned her head arrogantly to the side. "I don't believe you."

Liang Jie laughed. "Okay, peel this whole plate."

Liang Jie put on an offended look. "Just now someone said they'd peel shrimp for me."

Shen Shuyao laughed behind her hand. To be honest, the atmosphere on this variety show was quite good. Getting to know everyone over this period, she found they all had great personalities and there hadn't been any conflicts.

Having peeled a bowlful, Ji Nian hurriedly passed it to Liang Jie with a smile. "Sister Liang, please accept with a smile."

Liang Jie was surprised. She didn't expect the bowl of peeled shrimp was really for her. Delighted, she said, "Thank you, Little Nian~"

Wu Hai felt sour on the side. "Nian'er, peel a bowl for brother too."

"Hahahaha." Liang Jie laughed loudly. She said to Wu Hai, "Peel it yourself."

At this point, laughter rang out around the dining table. Everyone was infected with good cheer.

After lunch, Ji Nian received notice from the director to go over.

Ji Nian was confused since filming was going well. She didn't know why she was being summoned but still followed the staff over.

On Shen Shuyao's side, she added Ji Nian's WeChat and set up her contact info. Shyly, she said, "Done."

Ji Nian advised earnestly, "Shuyao, we must keep in frequent touch."

"I'll make a group chat so we can all talk there." Liang Jie immediately created a WeChat group.

After adding the female lead's WeChat, Ji Nian felt much more secure. She would definitely log in every day to maintain her presence. The female lead had too many people around her. Ji Nian had to seize every opportunity.

They chatted for a bit in the group before Ji Nian worried about getting back too late. She went upstairs first to pack her belongings into her luggage.

Once everything was ready, she brought her suitcase downstairs. The director had a car waiting outside already.

Everyone saw her off at the door. Liang Jie even gave her a hug. "Ji Nian, hopefully we can collaborate again in the future."

Shen Shuyao was also reluctant to part. Shyly she said, "Safe travels."

Ji Nian took the initiative to hug the female lead. "I'll pester you daily on WeChat. Don't get annoyed then."

Ji Nian put her luggage in the trunk and got in the car. She lowered the window, waved her hand, and called out, "I'm off, goodbye!"
