When Ye Xinghao had first identified the coral hand string, Lin Xi had already started to inspect the remaining items. Even though there were more than a dozen of them, it was difficult to determine whether the items inside were real or fake, and even if Lin Xi had the unusual ability of the Heaven's Eyes, he did not dare to use them carelessly, because the green light in his eyes would decrease if he used even a little bit. Furthermore, Chen Hee had said earlier that there were real and fake items inside, so if he saw them a few times in succession and used all the green light in a daze, he would cry himself to death.

He then looked at those items. Although there were paintings, ancient books, jade, ceramics and bronze, but if he wanted Lin Xi to appraise them, even if he found out whether they were real or fake, it would be hard to say why he would want to embarrass himself. If he made a mistake, it would be very difficult to get off the stage.

On the other hand, because he saw the flower bird Antique Street that day that Zhang Senxu picked up the snuff bottle with his own eyes, he purposely took it into his heart. When he went back to look at the antiques books, the first thing he read was the introduction of the snuff bottle, so he could be considered to have some understanding of the snuff bottle.

At least it wouldn't be too embarrassing, and what he was sure of was that this snuff bottle was undoubtedly the real thing.

The so-called snuff bottle, means the container of snuff, small hand can be held, easy to carry, it originated from the snuff that began to be popular in Europe in the 17th century, in the late Ming and early Qing dynasty, the snuff box gradually oriental, finally produced the snuff bottle.

The snuff is a kind of tobacco products, which is made up of roasting, removing stem, powdery, fermenting and adding spices. It not only has the effect of preventing disease by sniffing, but also has the style of snuff in different classes, and quickly integrated into Chinese art style, developed various kinds of craftsmanship snuff pot, displayed brilliantly in the art of Qing Dynasty, and became one of the important manifestations of the art of Qing Dynasty.

But nowadays people's habit of using snuff is almost gone, but snuff bottle has been passed down as a fine work of art. In the world, our country has always had the reputation of "the place of snuff bottle", and it has flourished for a long time.

As a fine handicraft, the snuff bottle in China is made of porcelain, copper, ivory, jade, agate, amber and so on. With the help of the techniques of blue and white flowers, five colors, sculptures and porcelain, sets of materials, craftsmanship and interior painting, it has absorbed the advantages of many kinds of crafts both inside and outside the territory.

In addition to its own practicality, it also has the functions of gift-giving and status symbol. Although the development of Qing Dynasty has only been in the history of 300 years, because of its small and delicate shape, it has always been favored by Chinese and Western museums and collectors, and has become one of the important items of modern cultural relics in China.

Although snuff and snuff bottle are not born from the ground of our country, but after the introduction of our country, soon to be popular both inside and outside. The first foreign snuff bottles in China were made of glass, as Wang Shizhen wrote in his "Jin Zu Notes": "The snuff bottles are stored in glass. The shape of the bottle is varied, the color of red, yellow, white, black and green, white as crystal, red as fire, extremely cute play, with the elephant tooth as the key, just like the nose, far more than the bottle.

However, the amount of supplies was small and could not meet the needs of the people. Intelligent craftsmen used all kinds of materials to make delicate snuff bottles, such as jadeite, precious stones, ivory, jade, porcelain, lacquer, bone, metal, and other materials. The more precious the material was, the more it reflected the owner's identity.

Until the beginning of the eighteenth century, the snuff bottle made in China had become a popular handicraft, and its fame spread abroad through European merchants, ambassadors, missionaries and officials.

For example, the prime minister of Tsar Russia came to my country to pay respects to Emperor Kang Xi and offered him a large number of precious gifts from Emperor Peter for the Qing palace. The gift Emperor Kang Xi returned was a snuff bottle made by a royal craftsman.

It is worth mentioning that the most famous skill in snuff-box is the drawing of snuff-box.

The inside drawing snuff bottle appeared in the early Daoguang period of the last year of Jiaqing. It was drawn in a transparent pot with a special tiny curved brush. The first painting inside the snuff bottle was a transparent glass container with no sand grinding on the inner wall. Because the inner wall was not easy to be covered with ink and color, it could only be used to draw some simple images and diagrams, such as: cricket cabbage, dragons, phoenixes, simple calligraphy, mountain water, etc. Later, artists would use iron sand and emery to add water to the inner surface of the snuff bottle and shake it back and forth. This way, the inner wall of the snuff bottle would be milky white ground glass.

With the development of the times, after the development of the snuff-box inside painting to a certain extent, some fine works appeared, and later developed into poetry, books, paintings and fine art.

However, there were two different theories about where the snuff-box came from, but the most reliable one was the wise man who saw the light.

However, the earliest painting of snuff flasks in existence was Gan Hengwen's work, written in the autumn of 1816 in Jiaqing, so most people now regard him as the inventor of the drawing of snuff flasks. But it is inferred that Gan Hengwen's painting of snuff flasks has reached a mature stage by this time, so the creation of the drawing of snuff flasks was far earlier than that of Jiaxing period. However, this has nothing to do with the admiration of Gan Hengwen by the collectors and lovers of snuff flasks.

At that time, the snuff bottle in Lin Xi's hand was in the shape of a flat bottle with a straight mouth and flat feet. It was painted with glass materials and the transparent material was sparkling and translucent.

One of the plum trees, plum limb spread, plum flower and flower bud in the middle, the same root green bamboo, bamboo leaves vigorous, decorative beautiful stone and two peony.

Lin Xi carefully examined the snuff bottle for a long time. After he finally came to a conclusion, he raised his head and pointed at the bottle in his hand: "President Zhang, this snuff bottle is exquisite, exquisite in terms of craftsmanship, revered by the ancients, it should be a treasure …"

"Mr Lin Xi, we can see what you are saying. Can you please tell us the result directly?" Before Lin Xi could even finish speaking, he was interrupted by Ye Xinghao. This was because his sudden voice quieted down the entire quiet room.

Although Ye Xinghao knew that he wouldn't be appraising old objects, he was able to tell that the snuff bottle was definitely a genuine object. However, because of his disgust towards Lin Xi, he couldn't help but choke on his words when he heard that Lin Xi had started appraising old objects.

From Ye Xinghao's point of view, Lin Xi seemed to be a few years younger than him, and his birth was even more ordinary, how could he really know how to appraise antiques? His main goal was to give Lin Xi a psychological pressure, and force Lin Xi to lose his composure in front of everyone.
