Half way into the back garden on the way to the pool, Johnathan could not hide his excitement anymore. His face broke out into a dazzling smile.
Turning his head towards Vincent, he asked the question he wanted clarification on.
"Daddy, Auntie Sofia join us swim?"
Looking at his brightly smiling faced son, Vincent answered him in a low voice.
"You will have to ask auntie that when she comes over."
He did not want to give his son a definite answer, as he was not sure if she would enter or not. It was best to leave her to answer him herself. This way he would not be laying to his son.
This topic had come to a close and they had also reached their destination. the minute his feet touched the ground, Johnathan bolted into the pool with a big splash creating ripples on the water's surface.
They had been swimming for almost an hour when Johnathan all of a sudden came towards him in order to play a prank on him. But with his tiny hands and almost nonexistent strength compared to an adult Male, Johnathan's became the one on the receiving end of the tickling prank.
They were busy laughing and having fun when a person slowly entered into Vincent's peripheral vision. That person was none other than Sofia in her pink two piece bikini, white sheer cover up and white sandals. He was looking at her unnoticeablely from her end.
Johnathan was no better. He could not take his eyes off her, she looked like an angel to him. Wanting her attention on him, he called out to her.
"Auntie. Auntie. Auntie Sofia." none of his calls were answered. Feeling frustrated, Johnathan moved closer to her and slightly pulled her cover up to get her attention. It was not a very good idea. With a slight pull, Sofia lost her balance and when toppling into the water face first.
The two members of audience were left in shock. Before Vincent could do anything, Sofia was already in the water. Seeing her not come out of the water, Vincent got into action immediately. Diving under the water, he made his way to her. She was still in the same position as when she fell in, and that was an indication of her having fainted.
Quickly getting her out of the water and onto the ground beside the pool, He called out to her in hopes of her waking up. She did open her eyes for a quick second, but they were closed again.
Not wanting to close her, he started with CPR procedure. Turning her head to the side he slowly pressed on her stomach to get most of the water out. When most of it was out, he started with the mouth to mouth resuscitation in a quick and professional manner. Before teaching his son how to swim, he had gotten his CPR certification for in case of an emergency. This training had come in handy.
This was the only time he was not happy to be kissing her. He did not want to do it in this type of situation, he wanted her safe and sound when he kissed her.
