Chapter 68 - Hates Ghost!

Their flight to City C divided into two schedule. Ling Yue got the second one. Her friends began to gossip when they saw Ling Yue's new appearance. Some even greet her because she looks 'approachable'.

"At first I saw you like a bookworm, with those old-fashioned glasses." A woman from the public relations department invited her to talk.

Ling Yue replaced her old gold glasses with the latest, simplest model. Her bangs were cut slightly at an angle, showing her face that looked fresh. Ling Yue cut the bottom of her hair a little so that it did not cross the middle of her back. They sat side by side on the flight that afternoon. Several people from various departments concerned attended the inauguration ceremony tomorrow. Ling Yue was one of those who represent her legal team.

This newly established company is a company for the military and homeland service. Strict guarding was seen even before the opening ceremony. They have to go through several checks in order to enter the hotel, where the official opening ceremony will be held for the public. She talked again. "They might come back soon, you know."

Eerie silence really scared her now. Holy shit! Ling Yue really hates ghost. Not the bad person she's afraid of now. She imagined something would emerge from behind the trees and drift towards her.

"Hey misteerr!" Ling Yue shouted once more.

Only the sounds of the night animals could be heard. Ling Yue suddenly wanted to cry. She crouched down, covered her ears with both hands and closed her eyes. If she can't run away hiding her body, Ling Yue hides her eyesight and hearing. That's what she does if those people start bullying her.

Someone touched her shoulder. Ling Yue trembled. She wants to peek but not dare enough. What if it's a headless person? or someone without a face? Something kept touching her shoulder, even shaking it.

Ling Yue slowly opened her eyes and she almost cried out in fear.

"You ... you scared me!"

The driver looked at her confused. "What's wrong with you, Miss?"

"Why didn't you answer when I called you?" she asked irritably.

Who will talk when they are pooping? the old man shook his head and sat back where he had been waiting. Finally a car walked closer and stopped in front of them. The window on the rear passenger seat came down and showed Xi Jian's face.
