Chapter 95 - Move!

"Boss, are you alright?" Zou Ci, still blocking Ling Feng, looked at Xi Jian behind him.

"Move or I'll hit you too!" Ling Feng pushed him roughly. But Zou Ci didn't budge. Ling Feng threw his fist to him.

"Calm down, friend! Can you explain to me what happened before attacking me blindly like this?"

Zou Ci avoided Ling Feng's beatings. The killing aura from him really put Zou Ci on guard. Suddenly, the earphones in his ear rustling and Gan Ji's voice could be heard. "Hey, Gan Ji? For the first time, I'm glad to hear your voice. Can you come back inside?"

Zou Ci and Ling Feng locked each other's arms.

"Ha, calling for backup?" Ling Feng scoffed.

Zou Ci restrained Ling Feng again and stood between them. He did not understand why his boss did not fight and let that friend hit him as he pleased. "Boss? He hit you all out."

Zuo ci could catch what had happened from Ling Feng's shout earlier. He was confused about what he should do. Can he hit back to make Ling Feng retreat? or leave it because the boss in the wrong?

Xi Jian only wiped the fresh blood that started seeping in his nose. "Move! Do not interfere."

"Zou Ci, take Ling Yue out of here. Don't let anyone in."

"HA! Where do you think you want to take her? "Ling Feng grabbed Ling Yue's arm and pulled her behind his body.

Xi Jian stood straighten on his spot. His eyes turning cold. "Let's finish our business just two of us. You don't need to let her see this, do you?"

Ling Feng's grin was mocking him. "She doesn't need to see you longer. We're done." After saying that, Ling Feng dragged Ling Yue out of there.

"Wait, Feng Ge, what are you doing? Let me go! Why did you hit him? Brother Jian is injured— "

"Once again I hear you mentioning his name, I will send you back and this time, nobody will know of your existence."

For the first time Ling Feng threatened his sister. Seeing Ling Feng's uncharacteristic face scared Ling Yue.

"Ask him." Zou Ci lifted his chin as he grimaced, pointing where Xi Jian leaned.

"Are we under attacked?" Gan Ji's eyebrow furrowed. "And why did I see Miss Ling being dragged by her brother while crying?"

Hearing that Ling Yue was crying, Xi Jian's hands were clenched. He straightened up again and without turning his head said,

"Don't follow me. Return to base."

Gan Ji who didn't know anything just nodded. Why Major Ling and his boss's face were so scary?
