"Mr. Gan Ji, how about we stop by there for a moment?" Ling Yue smiled sweetly.

Gan Ji had to take her to the King Empire. She had not visited the office for a long time. Although her current position was unclear, Ling Yue wanted to know actually what Xi Jian was facing. Ling Yue asked Gan Ji to stop at mall few blocks before King Empire location. She needed to improve her appearance so as not to embarrass herself.

There was actually nothing wrong with her appearance, but her clothes were now too casual for work environment, beside the bruises on her face were a little visible. She wanted to cover it as naturally as possible.

Gan Ji nervously opened the car door. He was still in conflict over whether to inform his boss or not. Minutes passed until Ling Yue exited the salon.

"Weird?" Ling Yue looked at her reflection in the windshield when Gan Ji did not open the car door.

"O, oh no Ma'am! You look amazing! I'm sure the boss will be happy to see you." Gan Ji had to admit that the lady boss was really pretty. He prayed silently that the boss would not blame him for letting his wife come in full appearance.

And strangely ... Ling Yue felt nervous again before entering the King Empire's office. She squeezed her hands together.

"Ma'am you almost forgot this." Gan Ji handed her the snack she had bought for Xi Jian.

"Oh yeah I almost forgot."

"Are you all right?"

Ling Yue did not answer. A memory flashed in her head and she suddenly shrank.

"Let me accompany you, Ma'am." Gan Ji felt sorry to see Ling Yue's expression. He invited Ling Yue to walk first. Ling Yue said nothing and let Gan Ji lead the way.

"Miss Ling? Is that you?"

Gan Ji and Ling Yue stopped when a man cut their way.

"Oh Mr. Bo! Long time no see!" Ling Yue's mood slowly improved. "Are you heading out?"

"No, I'm planning to eat in the cafeteria. Have you eaten yet? Want to come along?" Hearing the word 'eat,' Ling Yue suddenly felt hungry.

"Can I?"

"Of course!" Bo Xilai happily led the way to the canteen. "By the way, who is he?" Bo Xilai appointed Gan Ji who faithfully stood not far from her. Ling Yue almost forgot him.

"Gan Ji - I mean Mr. Gan, please find a place to sit and eat, I want to talk to him for a while."

Gan Ji just nodded and didn't move. Ling Yue let him be. She had hidden motive when tag along with Bo Xilai.

"Mr. Bo, I want to ask you something, how is King Empire's situation now?"

"You didn't know?" Bo Xilai raised his brow. "After you disappeared suddenly, Mr. Xi Jian also disappeared in the middle of the meeting. When the office was temporarily led by his brother, many unpleasant rumors circulated." Bo Xilai leaned forward and his hand covered part of his mouth. "In that time, somehow the stock could suddenly fall. There are companies that dare to buy large shares."

Ling Yue remembered Xi Jian's expression at that time. "And?"

"And suddenly Mr. Xi Jian reappeared. King Empire soon tried to buy back shares sold in company's name. Some of the management were fired for trying to acquire King Empire's subsidiary outside the city."

Ling Yue was pensive. "Then what now?"

"It still goes on. The legal team must stay up late to review projects that have been missed." Bo Xilai pulled his body and chewed his food. "Thank God you're back, we need lots of help." Bo Xilai smiled.

Ling Yue didn't know whether her presence could help or not.

"Wow, look who's here?"

Ling Yue saw Mo Yini stood next to Bo Xilai's seat. She placed her hand on Bo Xilai's shoulder.

"The princess has returned. What is the princess doing here?" Mo Yini played the ends of her hair. Bo Xilai shoved her arm. Since the coffee spill incident at that time, Bo Xilai hated her.

"Let's get out of here Miss Ling." Bo Xilai stood up and put down his food tray. Ling Yue nodded and following him.

"Hey, where are you going? I'm not done talking!" Mo Yini pulled Bo Xilai's arm. Bo Xilai reflexively brushed her.

"Please mind your manner, Miss Mo."

"You! Just because this woman came back you behaved like this?!"

"HEYYY!!!"

Gan Ji lightly caught Ling Yue's unsteady body when that woman pushed her lady boss.

"What are you doing?!" Gan Ji glared at her. "Ma'am are you all right?" Gan Ji carefully supported Ling Yue's body and helped her stood.

"Ma'am? Wow! Do you have sugar daddy?" Mo Yini looked sarcastically at Ling Yue. "Of course so! How can an ugly girl like you suddenly change so much?"

"MO YINI!" Bo Xilai shouted at her. Hearing her crush yell at her, Mo Yini grew furious.

"You better behave before I cut your tongue. How dare you say that to Madam!" Gan Ji never like this kind of woman.

"Never mind. Let's get out of here." Ling Yue didn't want to be the center of attention.

"Bitch! Where are you going? Are my words right that you ran away embarrassed?"

Ling Yue felt sudden nausea heard her screaming. Mo Yini who quickly realized her symptoms were burning more and more.

"Oh God! Don't tell me you're pregnant? Look! How shameless! I think your sugar daddy really invested in you! Does he want to marry you? Or is he already your husband?" Mo Yini chuckled. "A lowly women go well with lowly men."

"Shut up!!!" Gan Ji took out his pocketknife to scare her, but he lost faster than Ling Yue who had act first.

PLAAKK!

A canteen full of whispers suddenly became silent.

"How dare you!" Mo Yini touched her cheek which felt hot.

"I don't know what your problem with me. But I don't like it when you badmouthing my husband." Ling Yue said coldly.

Bo Xilai was stunned. "Husband?"

"Son of biittchhh!" Mo Yini raised her hand to grab Ling Yue. Gan Ji quickly catched her.

"You have to think twice before touching my lady and her future baby!" He hissed.

"What's all this fuss?"

The silent canteen was getting more quiet. Ling Yue and Gan Ji turned their heads together. Xi Jian appeared with Bai Xu.

Bai Xu who was aware of Mo Yini's attitude towards Ling Yue quickly assessed the situation and whispered to Xi Jian.

"What did you do to my wife?"

Mo Yini's shocked face was truly worth seeing. Murmurs suddenly were heard from all over the canteen when Xi Jian finished speaking. Gan Ji released Mo Yini's hand and pushed her away.

"This woman pushed Mrs. Xi, Boss. She almost hurt Madam and the prospective Young Master."

Xi Jian looked at Gan Ji oddly. Gan Ji aware of his mistakes, immediately closed his mouth while cursing himself. He stepped back instinctively.

"Are you pregnant?" Xi Jian slowly walked toward her. Ling Yue didn't think she should tell Xi Jian in this state.

"Let's talk inside." Ling Yue pulled his arm.

"Is it true?" Xi Jian did not move and stared at Ling Yue closely.

"Uh ... uhm ... I plan to tell you in your office." Ling Yue smiled awkwardly.

All of sudden, he hugged her. "I'm not dreaming, right?"

Ling Yue who lost word for his unexpect action, patted his back. "Yes. This is real. Congratulations, you will be a father." she whispered.

Xi Jian let go of his arms and replaced it with a kiss. There were a cries, whistles and applause from all the corner.

"Wow! Congratulations, Mr. Xi!"

Mo Yini turned around and crawled her way out trying to escape without a sound but Xi Jian saw her movements. He released Ling Yue and turned to face Bai Xu.

"Fire her!"
