Chapter 81: Aleron's Plan (3/3)

"What?" Roxen, Rias, and all others below Primeval rank couldn't see it.

"That..." Melkern was surprised. 'I couldn't sense it even though it was right beside me...such mastery of soul path.'

Marcus was also just peak Exceed-rank, so he couldn't sense it.

"It seems that when you two came in, that eye entered inside," Yueha narrowed her eyes, "I briefly released my spiritual detection barrier and it snuck in. From the looks of it, someone is observing us through this eye."

Aleron looked at the eyeball pinched between his fingers and used soul force with Magilore to destroy it, "Well, it's gone now. But I feel like I have an idea who it is."

Aleron grinned, 'Goddess Elysia. Well, if she is alerted then I shouldn't slack or be careless from now on.'

He wasn't sure, but his gut feeling told him it was probably the Goddess.

"As for your offer, Mr. Marcus. It's not like I don't want you to give you the opportunity, but I have my own place," Aleron waved his hand as a black cloudy portal with flickering red and golden lights appeared.

Seeing that, Rias, Roxen, Melkern, and Marcus were shocked. It was clear from the looks of this portal that it was a portal to a secret realm!

'He can summon the portal of a secret realm with a wave of his hand?!' Marcus's eyes stretched wide and his brain geared fast in his special area. 'The benefit of having an entire secret realm to his beck and call...there's only fortune and power if we get on his good.'

Aleron waved his hand again as the portal vanished.

"Now that I have much work to do, I will return to my abode, but thanks for the offer," Aleron smiled.

"Mr. Melker, what matters did you want to talk about?" Aleron asked as he turned to Melkern.

"It wasn't much. Just about that portal and guardians," Melkern shook his head. "But I shall not give my input on this. Since you already have thought about it, then you can tell me what I need to do."

'He has gotten old, but not senile, alright,' Marcus thought. 'It's clear that young master Aleron is going to give him a kind of authority that can make him a truly top person in the city.'

"Mhmm, I'll call you once I am finished with the matters," Aleron smiled and turned to Rias and Roxen, "I'll be leaving for several hours, so let's meet for breakfast and resume our day from there."

Rias wryly smiled and nodded, "Alright."

Aleron then snapped his finger and teleported everyone at once into the Eldertide Archipelago as everyone arrived on the grand terrace above the palace.

Aleron's gaze swept past the necropolis and beastfolk village as he looked at the vast unknown secret realm filled with mysteries and rewards, Aleron smiled, "Everyone, it's time to work."

"We will not disappoint you, my lord," Darzax smiled.

Everyone was fired up!

"I'll send Fang to you after he is done scribing the scroll," Aleron said with a grin, "Now go and start preparing. Show me what you got."

"Yes, master!"

"Yes, boss!"

"Yes, my lord!"

...

After sending Fang to them, Aleron read the scroll Fang inscribed with the knowledge and started brainstorming.

'Mhmm....all those effects can be achieved with Magilore as well. I just need to visualize the possible connections and establish their magic symbols.'

'This is easy, alright. Haha, as long as it can be achieved by Magilore, it's easy for me. I guess I really got too powerful of a talent and boon,' Aleron grinned as he started designing the

barrier.

Meanwhile, Rias and Roxen arrived at the hotel and went to their room before going to bed. There was no need to sleep every day, but today, there was a need.

'Aleron...he is going to do something big.'

Rias dazedly lay on the bed, recalling his eyes whenever he looked at her.

'What do I want to do?'

'I feel like he is asking me if I want to be a part of whatever he is doing or not.'

'Or it's me who is thinking...' Rias bit her lips and tossed herself to left on the bed. 'He is too amazing while I am nothing, can I really hope?'

'I can't hope without doing anything. I have to show him my worth for that,' Rias clenched her

fists.

'I've decided. No matter what, I'll follow him and his path.'

'This is the best course of action for both Empire's future and myself who wants to walk by his side,' Rias's eyes ignited with resolve.
