Chapter 89: Grand Zim Auction House, Aleron's Wealth

"Welcome to the Grand Zim Auction House, everyone! I see that the house is full today, hahaha."

In the huge hall with cascading seatings numbering 1000 and 100 VIP booths, a big platform opened its curtains facing the audience or rather customers as a man wearing a black suit and black hat welcomed everyone after walking forward.

The auction officially began.

"We have some good haul today, so everyone is in for a treat as long as they have the dough," the man said with a smile. "Give us the dough and we shall give you the cookies. With that, let's start the auction with a treasure from the battlefield zone!"

"Not just any treasure, ladies and gentlemen. It is a completely intact and working treasure of high quality, one of the best items in today's auction!"

A few people arrived from behind the stage, bringing with them a trolly that held a covered square container.

"Let me present to you all! The first Primeval-rank treasure of today's auction!"

The man waved his hand as the cloth cover was removed.

Everyone's eyes immediately focused there as they saw a glass container containing a magnificent spear with scaled jade patterns on its shaft. It floated vertically inside on top of a small crystal bowl that made it float.

"A weapon!"

"A spear weapon nonetheless! We are in for a good show of competition among VIPs haha." "It's been long since we got an intact Primeval-rank weapon from the battlefield!"

"Shit, this is going to be crazy!"

"I can't buy it...but I want it."

Uproar ensued among the audience while the big shots in VIP rooms heatedly talked about buying it.

Inside the VIP booth 99, Rias, Aleron, and Roxen sat as they looked at the spear.

"I want that spear," Aleron's eyes sparkled. "Hua uses a spear and it also seems to be dragon- related."

"It's going to cost a lot of Magic stones," Roxen wryly smiled. "Since it's a Primeval-rank treasure, the currency others will use is most likely SSS-grade magic stones."

"SSS-grade magic stones?" Aleron grinned. 'I have plenty, mwahahaha.'

The auctioneer finally spoke after letting people observe for a minute.

"Now that you all have carefully seen it, I shall reveal some information about it. First, this Primeval-rank spear is of Medium-grade."

"The main attributes it aligns to are Blood and Fire! Judging from its material, we have assumed it is made from a powerful Primeval-rank Dragon's body parts."

"The might of this spear leaves no doubt. If you have it, you shall be one of the strongest on the continent! Now, without further ado, let us begin its auction."

"The starting price is 1 SSS-grade magic stone," the auctioneer smiled and bowed, "Please begin the bidding."

Immediately, VIP booth no. 34 lit up and a voice echoed from there.

"One hundred SSS-grade magic stones!"

"One hundred fifty!"

"Three hundred!"

While the bidding started among the VIP booths, Aleron rubbed his chin and asked, "What do you think is the price for general Primeval-rank weapons?"

*Uproar!*

"Who is in that booth?"

"I think it didn't bid even once until now."

Meanwhile, some people in other VIP booths knew about other VIPs and some of them knew

Rias Longinus was in booth no. 99.

"Twenty thousand SSS-grade magic stones! Booth no. 99's bid going once!" the auctioneer excitedly shouted and slammed the hammer.

Inside the booth no. 17, a dark blue-haired young man in a luxurious black robe frowned.

"Young lord, it seems that we won't be getting this spear," the middle-aged man sitting at a

side sofa said with a wry smile.

"Who is there?"

"Rias Longinus," the man replied, his expression turning somber, "However, we can't make

any rash moves, young lord Lex."

"Huh? What do you mean, Thazor?" Lex raised his eyebrows while his eyes turned cold, "There's finally a Primeval-rank spear on our continent. I want it at any cost. This is the only

reason we hurried to here."

"That's true, but..."Thazor weakly smiled and said, "You are not aware of the recent news of this city, young lord. There's a new powerhouse in our continent and he is...sigh."

'Where should I begin? I should show him instead of telling.'

Thinking that, Thazor took out a mirage crystal.

"Please take a look at this."

The mirage crystal showed the fight between Yeuha and others with the Demon before Aleron

joined the fight and finished it off.

"This happened here?" Lex was startled. "But what connection does this powerhouse have

with Rias?"

"No idea," Thazor shook his head, "However, they arrived together in this city and had lunch

at the Golden Nectar. This information has been shared by some students of Lightdusk Academy who were present there."

"Both sons of Melkern Aurspec also died as they were involved with the demon. On top of

that, this powerhouse killed and punished five hundred thousand people of the city."

Lex frowned deeply.

"Fine, but I want that spear. Send a message to that booth that I am willing to pay with other

treasures plus magic stones for that spear."

"I want to try, at least."
