Chapter 92: A Surprise In New Banners
"5000 S-grade Magic stones! I want that pill!"
Just as the last Exceed-rank item was sold on the auction and the second Primeval-rank item appeared on the auction, Aleron opened his eyes on the couch.
"Food is also here," Rias smiled and gave a glass to Aleron, "here, your tasty juice."
"Haha, thanks," Aleron grinned and tasted it as his eyes lit up, "Delicious."
The trio snacked and drank juice as the auction continued.
The following items were of primeval rank, all from the battlefield zone, but all of them were broken.
Most of the equipment items and artifacts were broken and Aleron didn't bother to buy any of them since they weren't interesting or powerful even if fixed.
After half an hour as the auction finally neared its end, the last item was unveiled on the platform. Usually, there wouldn't be any working and intact Primvel-rank items daily but there were two today.
One weapon and another an artifact.
"Ladies and gentlemen, this artifact has been named Devil's Umbrella. Upon activating it, it creates a protective barrier covering a 500-meter radius."
The auctioneer grinned and continued, "To give you an example of its prowess, we have tested this artifact and it has withstood the full-powered attack from Lady Mesina, the Golden Needle, while also rebounding an attack to the attacker capable of disrupting their Mana flow."
Instantly, an uproar ensued.
"What?!"
"Lady Mesina is one of the most powerful solo Primeval-rank powerhouses!"
"Could it be that she was the one who found this artifact?"
Everyone was shocked at the prowess of this artifact. Lady Mesina's forte was her piercing offense with her mastery of Metal and the same elemental aligned Bloodline she manifested, hence her title the Golden Needle.
To be able to protect from her most powerful attack meant that this artifact had one of the highest defensive prowess among other items on the Lightdusk continent.
Due to the tension and preparation for the upcoming war, nobody wanted to miss out on such a powerful card that could save them.
The big shots knew that since it was a Primeval-rank artifact, it must have two or more effects at least and the auctioneer didn't reveal it all, but they didn't need to know everything to buy
it.
"The bid starts from 1 SSS-grade magic stone. Let us begin!"
...
"What? A protective artifact," Aleron clicked his tongue and shook his head, "This is useless. I can make protective artifacts more powerful than this. Sigh, I wanted a weapon."
Rias heard that and looked at the bangle on her wrist. 'He gave me this as well.'
"Give me," Aleron grinned and looked at her wrist, "I'll empower since I am more powerful now."
'I should create more of such bangles that can withstand emergency attacks and give them to everyone who will be working for me,' Aleron nodded as he took note of this. 'Even though they are one-time use items, they can still be useful.'
"These three secret realms are elemental ones. People who want to improve in Fire, Darkness, Earth, and Metal Syllasbus to create their own arcane syllabus for their skills can go there to comprehend the elemental powers shaped naturally by nature."
Aleron smiled and added, "I also want to improve, so we will go there later. I can't let you go alone because it's dangerous inside."
After all, those secret realms were open with their cracks often appearing and disappearing across the cosmos, allowing lucky powerhouses from other planets to stumble inside.
"However, you can still roam on this island and practice," Aleron grinned as he turned to Rias and Roxen, "there's no lack of resources in this secret realm, so you can go and fight for resources."
"Really?!" Rias's eyes sparkled.
Roxen's heart raced her face turning red due to excitement, "Can we really do that?"
After all, Roxen wasn't a royalty. She came from a poor family and rose only because of her
talent and hard work.
For her to get stronger, she needed to work for the royal family and brave dangers with Rias as
her guard for resources.
As such, this offer from Aleron was a god-sent blessing to her.
"Of course, you can," Aleron smiled. "This secret is frankly toooooo big, hahaha."
"We are still not done emptying this island and there are thousands of islands more..." Aleron grinned. "This secret realm can sustain a civilization for hundreds if not thousands of years."
"Of course, the dangers in this realm are also high. There are more Primeval-rank monsters here than the number that's appeared on the Lightdusk continent for centuries, so be
-careful."
Rias quickly nodded, thrilled. "We will be careful, Ale. But I still feel like I am dreaming." "Haha, go and explore. I'll send two Death Lords with you."
"What about you?" Rias blinked.
"I am going to that colosseum," Aleron said as he pointed at a faraway huge colosseum.
"I haven't shown you that because it's a mess right now," Aleron wryly smiled. "But..." Aleron's eyes glinted. "Once I am done finishing my work there, I'll show you my new
army-the Xorg Guardians."
...
Rias and Roxen excitedly went to explore the island with Death Lords as their team members.
On the other hand, Aleron was greeted by two notifications that also excited him.
