Chapter 118: Dreadful Encounter With the Demon Lord Narazar (2), Death Play (1)

"Given the situation I've understood, you either killed all the demons in the western region or sent them into your secret realm," Narazar narrowed his eyes and his lips parted into a smile. "So you want to become a Warlord, eh?"

"You are already a warlord, so why are you interfering here?" Aleron frowned, suppressing his killing intent. This Demon Lord had the blackest skull mark he had seen so far, indicating a huge amount of suffering to innocents.

'How many he has killed and despaired so far? Damned demon!' Aleron wanted to kill him, but he had no power to do it right now.

"Why am I interfering? Do you even know what is Cosmic Ascension Competition and how brutal it is? Well, you wouldn't know since you have yet to earn the warlord title," Narazar said before he snorted. "Humph, If it wasn't because of Elysia, I would've conquered this world two hundred years ago. But now that she has washed off her hands from this, I am going to get this world under me."

Elysia had arrived here a bit over five hundred years ago and controlled this world for its development since many powerhouses at that time died due to Akumas who were controlling the world then before she restored the world by banishing Akumas into the Netherworld. Although she couldn't interfere directly after getting qualified to earn the Warlord title, she made her moves using people to progress the world more and grow more powerhouses before making her grand move, but two hundred years ago, Demon Lord Narazar interfered and ruined her plans.

The Heroe summoning, special labyrinth, her Divine Blessings system, and the battlefield zone that she anchored to the Ardentia planet were all there to make people progress and create a brutal competition to nurture powerhouse in a calculative way.

All she wanted was for her plans to succeed regardless of the cost of general lives and despair she spread, which she didn't care about, and live a leisurely, free life here, which she couldn't live in the higher cosmos due to her family making plans for her and dictating her life.

But two hundred years later when things were finally developing well, Aleron arrived and was ruining her plans.

"Make a move, Narazar," Elysia muttered. "Attack him."

She wanted to know what trump cards Aleron had and measure his capabilities. She had no desire to kill Aleron anymore after seeing him but she nonetheless harbored a desire to use him and acquire the strange source of his power.

The powerhouses around him that she hadn't seen before, the secret realm, the seemingly no limit of Aleron's magilore...she wanted to know everything.

"I don't know the brutality of this competition, but I want to know why are you adamant about acquiring this world even though you already have one," Aleron asked, his expression somber.

"Honestly, if I had the power to kill you right now, I wouldn't hesitate to erase you," Aleron said with a frosty expression, baring his killing intent without holding back. "Killing millions as a sacrifice, and spreading despair...I hate to you the bone marrow even though I am seeing you for the first time."

Narazar was stunned before he burst out laughing.

"Don't tell me you really saved all the demons? Amazing, I didn't think I would meet someone like you," Narazar said as he held back his laugh and continuously shook his head, "What a fabulous joke of a human."

"I suppose you know everything then. You must have read memories of those two fools," Narazar coldly smiled and pointed his finger at Aleron, "You asked me if I was going to kill

you, right?"

"I want to, and I will attempt, though there's a 0.1% chance that I might not be able to kill you right now," Narazar's eyes glinted as a thumb-sized eccentric dark green orb with strange black patterns manifested before his index finger. "After all, this is just my avatar and you have stacked quite a defense there."

'Avatar?! So he is really not here in his true body, Master.'

Yueha felt relief even though she didn't know the capabilities of Ascension-rank

powerhouses.

'Yeah, then it's no wonder the Gacha Quest's reward is low,' Aleron also felt relief, but his uneasiness also increased.

"Although I can't kill you, I am not going to let you interfere with my summoning," Narazar grinned. "So taste this power and stay in your secret realm obediently."

'I have to use the entirety of my avatar's power if I want to incapacitate him. This should be enough to prevent him from interfering.'

"You don't want to escape? You can teleport fast, so come on, at least try," Narazar chuckled, deliberately delaying his attack to play a trick. 'If he falls for it, then I should be able to kill him. Better to remove him if possible.'

He wanted this planet under his control because it was the only one he could easily and quickly get his hands on.
