Chapter 144: Countdown (20/20), The Clash Begins
Aleron's eyes glinted and he vanished from the secret realm before appearing outside.
Without further ado, he activated his Monitor Dome, covering the entire planet within it, and teleported to the sacrificial site where over a million Mortal-rank demons were gathered, trapped within a dome with a huge magic circle drawn on the ground.
He also spent 50 billion Magilore and created a huge domain covering the Demonic Continent.
He then looked at the gathered demons as his eyes glinted, teleporting 98% of them directly into the secret realm in open ground, and commanded five patrolling Death Lords to contain them.
He left 2% there because they had red and black marks. The demons were desperate, downright in despair at the moment as they knew they were going to die in the worst way. As such, he didn't want to mix those 2% with the rest after saving them.
According to what Demon Lord Narazar left in the message, the moment he saved the 1 million demons here and prevented his summoning, Narazar would immediately sacrifice the Demon King of the south and arrive here.
Aleron's eyes flashed as he thoroughly scanned the southern region of the Demonic Continent to search for the sacrificial Demon King while the four Demon Kings who were nearby flew towards Aleron.
"Bastard, prepare to die. Demon Lord Narazar is coming soon," one of the Demon King maliciously grinned.
"This planet will belong to the demons!"
All of them knew from Demon Lord Narazar that Aleron would arrive to disrupt the sacrificial summoning.
Naturally, Aleron didn't even spare a glance at them. He was focused on searching for the Demon King.
'I can't find him!' Aleron frowned and clenched his fist. He expected it, but still, he thought he would be able to find him.
Suddenly, Aleron sensed a powerful presence and his new type of heavy-duty barrier shining with a colorful prism hue flickered into existence.
"Relax, I am not here to fight you."
Elysia's voice rang in the air as she appeared five meters across Aleron, smiling at him.
"Unfortunately, you won't be able to find that Demon King because Narazar is already here. Do you think he would give you a chance to kill that Demon King after telling you the entire plan of arriving here?" Elysia shook her head and sat on a throne-like white sofa couch before smiling.
Of course, Aleron knew that, but he still wanted to try.
"Anyway, I am here to watch a good show and...interfere in case some of the developments I'm expecting occur," Elysia grinned. "Good luck."
Aleron snorted and started blasting off his skills in the sky after summoning his Astral Reaver to consolidate his magic source which just got a boost of 200,000.
"I am waiting and ready," Aleron coldly replied.
He also sent a thread of his consciousness inside and contacted Yueha and others. After awakening Astral Concept, his consciousness was able to perform simple manipulation of Space and Time without consuming any energy and at ease.
'Everyone, it's time. Get some rest and get ready. I am also sending Symbios Gears there. The gears are limited, but you are more, however, look at the gears, and feel them.'
"Quite a party has gathered, eh? Elysia, I am not here to die, so make your deal clear. What the
hell do you want?"
Demon Lord Narazar has arrived, in the flesh.
"Hey, kiddo," Narazar ferociously grinned at Aleron. "You look all fixed now."
Aleron's expression was serene, his aura silent and conserved.
'I've managed to kill 17 Warlords, all of them were at early-stage Ascension power level like this guy, with two of them having Divine-grade Bloodline as well,' Aleron thought, his eyes
burning with silent fury.
'I will kill him!'
His Arcana Throne manifested as he sat on it, entering his combat form.
Yueha, Mei, and Enorin floated near Aleron, looking at approaching auras behind Narazar.
"Don't involve me in this," Elyasia said as she floated up and covered herself in a translucent dark gold barrier. "I am just here to watch the show."
"That's not how it works," Narazar narrowed his eyes. "Swear a soul oath that you won't
interfere in our battle."
"Isn't that right?" Narazar looked at Aleron.
Aleron stared at Elysia, looking at the black skull mark above her.
"Swear," Aleron stated. "Or we will kill you first."
Elysia rolled her eyes, "Fine."
"I swear that I won't interfere in the battle between you two," Elysia swore, but her eyes flickered with a nefarious light deep within as if she had some plan.
"Good," Narazar floated before Aleron ten meters across him, his aura rising as he looked at Aleron with a grin, "Don't die too fast."
"You think I didn't improve after you left?" Aleron stated, his aura surging as the Astral Field appeared around him, causing both Elysia and Narazar's eyes to flicker with shock.
'Hahahaha, I knew he would give a surprise, this bastard!' Elysia's eyes glowed with thrill. 'A Concept and this is a Space-Time-related one! Wonderful!'
"Go on, make your move."
Aleron's eyes bore onto Narazar, serene yet cold and ready to flip the board.
