Chapter 214: Clora of Crimson Marsh (3/3)

Chapter 214: Clora of Crimson Marsh (3/3)

[You have acquired Blue Star Potion x1]

'Just one thing?' Aleron raised his eyebrows. 'Well, let's see what it is.'

[Blue Star Potion]

__Effect: Increase your Magic potency by 100 to 300 based on absorption efficiency.

"Woah, that's good," Rias was surprised.

"Indeed, that will increase Master's overall power by a good amount," Enorin smiled and nodded.

"Haha, great item. Wish we had a lot of these," Aleron grinned and chugged down the potion before sitting cross-legged.

He focused and meditated to properly and efficiently absorb the potion's power, but he was surprised to see its essence being wild.

'Interesting, but I am going to absorb you fully, and you can't escape my body,' Aleron's eyes glinted. The control he had over his body was far superior to his subordinates, and it could even contain and compromise magic and soul power due to his mastery of Genome.

In short, if others could bring out 100% of their power with their harmony between body, soul, and magic, he could bring out 150% of his power by extremizing his body.

Aleron didn't realize it for obvious reasons, but he was already entering the realm above 'Harmony'.

'You can't escape, my precious magic essence.'

The magic essence had no way of dispersing after entering his body, even though it was powerful and required higher control than what Aleron currently possessed for maximum efficiency.

But because of his body path's mastery, Aleron began absorbing the potion's power into his arcane source with maximum proficiency!

It took five minutes for him to fully absorb it.

Once he was done, the group continued climbing the stairs leisurely while recovering the energies they spent in the battle.

Once they arrived on the 500th floor, they defeated the second crimson guardian-Melgore, with the same teamwork. It was more or less the same level of power as the first crimson guardian, just bigger in size with different types of attacks, and looked like a monster with tentacles and hundreds of small eyes.

MVP was Aleron once again, and he chugged a Red Star Potion this time, giving 100 to 300 stats to Strength.

From the treasure box, they got after defeating the second Crimson Guardian, they only got two items, unlike the first Crimson Guardian, which gave them three items.

However, the reward was still good.

One Medium-difficulty Chaos Breathing Art of the orthodox method with a recovery speed of 62 Chakra each second.

The other was a Mystic Artifact.

[Pendent of Lost Night]

Grade: Rare-order.

Effect: Seal an area of 500 meters in absolute darkness and render all six senses useless for every individual inside.

Duration: 1 minute.

Cost: 500 Chakra.

Mystic Artifacts ranged from Primary-order to Supreme-order, just like job class, and these things could only be gained from Dungeons. It was impossible to craft them.

From the memories Aleron got about Chaosverse, these Mystic Artifacts also had hidden effects, but the conditions to trigger them were unknown.

It depended on one's luck and encounters.

Aside from this, the Reward box for dealing the last killing blow went to Mei, who got a Green Star Potion that increased one's Agility by 100 to 300.

Finally, they climbed up to the 1000th floor and faced the Clora of Crimson, in a ground full of red grass and a crescent crack in the sky that oozed crimson light on the boss standing at the center.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

She appeared 5'8 feet tall, with a crimson dress and a rapier in her hand, her face veiled and her eyes holding sparkling crimson glints.

[You have arrived at the doorstep of Clora of Crimson Marsh. Hereon, only one of you can proceed ahead to fight. The fight would only stop once one of you dies.]

"Huh? 1v1 with the final boss?" Aleron raised his eyebrows, his lips curling "This dungeon's weird."

"Why are you going ahead, Master?" Lee wryly asked.

Marsh, her detached head attaching right back onto her head.

'She is pissed,' Aleron grinned.

"You are quite powerful, and your Mystic Path is interesting," Clora smiled widely, cheeks

painted red, but her eyes looked deadly.

"Show me more!"

*Swoosh!*

Aleron's pupils shrank as he felt danger bells.

Mystic Skill: Counter Veil.

Suddenly, the space looked as if it folded before Aleron while purple and silver-colored

energies painted it.

'Again...his eyes,' Clora's eyes glowed and her thrill increased as her Rapier's struck the Veil

and made a hole.

But from that hole, a piercing silver-purple silver shot at her, penetrating her chest and

dealing damage.

Behind her, Aleron stood, his eyes focused and targeting her head as his scythe landed.

Mystic Skill: Ruinous Wrap.

Clora turned around while a crimson-round barrier appeared above her that blocked Aleron's

scythe.

*BOOM!*

A terrifying whirlpool unleashed from Aleron's scythe, bearing pure destructive power from

his assets, enveloping Clora.

But he didn't see Clora's HP reducing.

"You're faster than I expected from someone with your stats. What's that skill?"

Clora's voice rang as the whirlpool vanished as if it was getting sucked and ultimately vanished into the crimson round shield protecting her.

"It's a perpetual skill I created to keep my movement swift and instantaneous," Aleron

weakly smiled. "But how in the hell are you unscathed? I was hoping to finish you off with Ruinous Wrap since I used 300 Chakra in it."

'I can't win anymore. I only have 64 Chakra left.'

"Don't worry, it's not your loss because I used something I wasn't supposed to use to block

that attack."

Clora chuckled as her wounds started healing, and she approached Aleron dangerously close,

her eyes boring into his with only an inch of distance between them, "I'll wait for you at the

Valley of End. Don't die before arriving there."

Right after she finished speaking, Clora vanished.

[You have successfully defeated Clora of Crimson Marsh]

[You have gained a Golden Reward Box.]

[Each member of the party will acquire a Random Reward Box (Gold-Tier) as a reward for

clearing the dungeon.]
