Chapter 251: Unmatched Excellence, Veil of Zeliander
He entered a plain, but aesthetic room belonging to a Grand Elder, a Supreme-rank powerhouse overseeing all activities in this second region of chaosverse.
However, when he entered, his lips couldn't help but twitch while a flare of anger appeared in
his eyes.
'Why is this bitch here?'
Lilisa was already there, talking with the Grand Elder Madelin, a woman in her forties with a busty figure covered in a long-sleeved robe.
"You're here? I was waiting for you," Lilisa chuckled, albeit it appeared deviously.
"What's the matter, Sid?" Grand Elder Medellin raised her eyebrows as she gestured him to
come.
Sid bowed.
"My disciple was killed and I wanted his soul back," Sid respectfully said. "Please help me get his soul back."
"That is not possible, Sid."
Grand Elder Medellin calmly said.
"But why?" Sid's voice cracked. "He is a talented man. His future is bright."
Grand Elder Medellin shook her head and sighed, "No matter how bright his future is, it's merely a flicker of wisp in front of the bright sun that is Aleron."
"He is once in a millennium prodigy. If he wants Romellus' soul, then he has earned it. You know that's how things work here," Grand Elder Medelin's voice was sharp and firm, and at the end, her eyes coldly bore down onto Sid.
He wanted to rebuke in this regard but didn't dare to. He could only glance at Lilisa, his eyes venomous.
"Can't we do something about that? Like, giving him Innate Gear in exchange or a better Chaos Breathing Art? I'm sure that's way better than a soul," Sid turned to Grand Elder Medellin. "I am willing to pay from my own pocket."
"You can go now."
Sid nodded and quietly left.
"I shall also take my leave, Grand Elder," Lilisa smiled. "If you want, we can proceed with Soul Bound before he participates in the Special Dungeon."
"No hurry," Grand Elder Medellin waved her hand, her mood clearly good as she thought about Aleron. "We'll do that after he comes out of the dungeon. It'll be a child's play for him anyway."
"As you wish."
Lilisa left as well and contacted Aleron, telling him to rest and relax until tomorrow.
...
Aleron continued with his daily schedule. He wasn't going to rest simply because there was a big day tomorrow. When it was time, he slept with the girls and woke up six hours later. The training and sparring continued as usual before it was finally time to enter the special dungeon.
A hundred people gathered in the same arena with a big gate-shaped portal in front of them. Grand Elder Medellin, Lilisa, Sid, and other Transcendent-rank figures stood before them. "This special dungeon is called Veil of Zeliander. The structure of space-time is warped inside, and you will find different gravity points where islands, grounds, oceans, and other phenomena would be floating."
"The rewards are abundant, but so are the dangers. The number of chaotic beasts and the variety of it you will encounter inside is in a very high number. You will have to move inside with caution and not attract a huge amount of monsters, because they would gather fast." Many gulped, slightly fearful as they had heard of Special dungeons. These were super rare, and they were considered lucky to have the opportunity to enter them.
After all, only 100 could enter, and it would vanish after that. Only one attempt and it was
given to them.
"Interesting," Aleron smiled. "But I'll explore this entirely and bring out every single treasure there is. Otherwise, there's no point."
"That, we very much look forward to, Aleron," Grand Elder Medellin smiled and waved her hand, "It's time."
"Enter, explore, and become a victor by successfully returning from this dangerous trove of treasure."
