Chapter 254: Astral (2/2)
In the northwest part of the city, two hundred kilometers away from Aleron, there was a huge entertainment building.
It was fifty floors tall and 400 meters wide, built like a cyborg tree with its branches being boxes of buildings and each building having various entertainment avenues.
Casinos, restaurants, spas, and many other things.
The overwhelming amount of despair was from there. More specifically, it was below it in the underground part of this building.
On the 10th floor's branch building, a party was eating food at a window table. An elf girl looked outside to see the view but suddenly saw a humanoid figure two meters tall. The figure had a distorting purple-violet long robe and a strange mask with a beak covering his face. This figure seemed to be looking down.
At his back was a pair of distorting and flickering violet wings with silver sparks, but it was suspended, not flapping at all.
The girl blinked and suddenly saw the humanoid's face turning to her.
"Damn, he scared me."
The others also looked at the humanoid, surprised.
"Who is he?"
"Looks badass, though. What kind of outfit is that?"
"I sense space powers...."
Astral looked at them and grinned as he waved his hands, "Bye bye."
In the next second, Astral vanished and arrived in the underground area, a large hall with prisons on both sides.
Aleron was also seeing everything through Astral's eyes, and seeing the captives, a vein popped up on his forehead.
Suddenly, two people entered the hall. One was a demon, and another was a beastfolk. Astral hid himself in plain sight, entering a parallel space layer.
"Alright, we need a human baby and a five-year-old dwarf baby."
"Our stock of baby elves and horse beastfolks is decreasing."
"We have no more Titan Demon babies. Note that."
"No worries. Our Lower Cosmoc Farm must have birthed many by now. Food supplies won't go down."
Aleron was cursing under his breath as he realized what these kids and babies were for! Fucking food supplies!
The kids inside the prison seemed to know what their fate was, hence the overwhelming amount of despair he felt from this place.
There were around ten thousand of them in this vast hall filled with prisons!
[Aleron: Kill those two and teleport their souls to me. As for the kids, send them to the Midworld.]
[Astral: Roger!]
Astral quickly destroyed the two men with a flicker of his eyes.
At the moment, Astral's stats were not suppressed. He was actually at the original stats of Aleron!
1.4k Body!
700+ Arcane!
700+ Soul!
According to the Cosmic Eye's scan, there were a few Supreme ranks in this city, but none of them were as powerful as him. There were just 500+ and around 600 in the Trinity force.
Astral quickly finished his task. He directly sent the kids to an island and contacted Super AI to make arrangements for them.
Super AI informed many people, especially those who were living peacefully with the intent to help others. It wasn't strange that Aleron had a welfare organization run by people who wanted to help those who had suffered at the hands of evil.
...
But before the energy could even reach him, Astral waved a hand, dispersing the blast into nothingness as if it were a puff of smoke.
"I don't have time for this." He clenched his fist, and instantly, the woman was crushed by an invisible force. Her body crumpled mid-air, lifeless, and her soul was pulled from her corpse and dragged into the portal leading to Hell.
The remaining people were horrified. She was one of the strongest present, which meant that the person in front of them was a Supreme-rank powerhouse.
Astral turned his gaze towards a group of Transcendent-rank figures who had gathered together, seemingly trying to form some kind of resistance. They were casting spells, combining their powers, hoping to create a barrier strong enough to contain him.
He scoffed.
Without warning, Astral shot forward, moving faster than their senses could follow. In a split
second, he was among them, his fist slamming into the ground below, sending a shockwave that rippled through the air. Their barrier shattered like glass, and the Transcendent figures became puddles of exotic blood, their souls thrown into hell.
He didn't stop there. Astral moved swiftly, his body flickering in and out of sight as he struck each one of them down with ruthless precision. Souls were ripped from their bodies and sent to Hell with each death; the process was as efficient as it was terrifying. [Aleron: Something's strange with that guy. He is not that scared, and... he can use space.]
Astral's eyes locked onto the figure. A ripple in the space on the far side of the area. His
instincts flared.
[Aleron: That's the one. He should be the building's owner.]
Astral approached the ripple in space, and with a twist of his hand, the space folded, revealing
a hidden chamber, a rather luxurious room. Inside, a man sat alone, his face darkened and
eyes filled with wrath.
'He discovered me. Who the hell is he?'
He stood up and emerged from the space ripple, his aura was immense, far beyond the others
Astral had faced so far.
A supreme rank with Trinity Force of 640. A mix-breed of human and elf from his appearance.
"Do you have any idea who I am?" the man said, his voice calm yet venomous. His eyes glowed with an unnatural power. "And what you've done here?!"
Astral tilted his head as he removed his mask, revealing a goofy face with purple hair and a wide smile. "Do I look like I care whoever the fuck you are?"
The man's expression darkened. "You've meddled in affairs far beyond your understanding,
and now you'll pay the price. Your soul-"
Astral appeared right behind him, the Supreme-rank unable to catch up with the insane
physical prowess of Astral.
When he finally noticed something, Astral's hand had pierced his heart from the back, and he
could see his own heart as he looked below.
But that wasn't all. He could feel that his mastery of space was like a joke. He couldn't do
anything! His entire body was sealed such that he couldn't do anything.
[Aleron: Kill him, scan his soul for memories, and find the lower cosmos that he uses as his breeding farm. Make a portal there and send our best Ascension ranks to help there. Tell Rexian to connect with the cosmos will of that lower cosmos and make sure that no one else from the upper cosmos can create a portal to that lower cosmos. Change the coordinates of
the lower cosmos by working with both cosmos wills, and all of this should happen within 24 hours.] [Astral: Roger, supreme commander!]
"Time to evaporate," Astral grinned as he forcefully twisted the man's head to face him.
...
Astral vanished to complete the mission, as he only had 24 hours to do everything. [Gachapi: Haha, With great power comes great responsibility. Time to work Astral's ass off.]
Aleron wryly smiled, but he couldn't deny it.
Astral was simply too useful right now because he could do everything for him while remaining a hidden powerhouse, unable to be traced.
