It has been 2 days since Alonso left, Maria has been going to the town halltrying to receive her reparations from the kingdom, after slavery was abolished the king decreed that every slave will be made a citizen of Vita kingdom and they will be paid a sum of 100 gold coin each.

It should be known that this is not a small amount for commoners, they could live comfortable for years with the money if they do not spend it on luxuries.

Maria is in a queue with all her document in the town hall she is waiting to receive her pay.

Maria is excited she has never earned so much money before she is anticipating the money already in her mind she is planning how to spend it.

Maria plans to move her children to the elf village where she was born and for her children to grow up in a safe and healthy environment that is her plan at the moment.

As Maria is in the queue a tall human male walks up to her this human male was the same male that assaulted Maria when she met Alonso.

The human male was drunk at the time but now he is sober, the human male had dry flakey skin and was wearing dirty clothes his eyes looked the void of emotion if one was to look at him they would think he has given up on life his name is Michael.

Michael was Maria's slave master he bought maria when she was just 15 years old he fell in love with her the moment he laid his eyes on her, Michael is a commoner and just a simple barber he spent his life savings just to buy Maria.

Michael never saw Maria as a person she was his as his property and did whatever he liked to her even making her have two kids for him but because the children where half elves he never even treated them like his own kids.

Maria been with Michael for so long kindia got dependant on him and at some point she even developed stockholm syndrome and never challenged Michael and did whatever she was asked to do no matter what even when violated her.

When Maria had her kids Michael will constantly beat up this own children this caused Maria great stress and heart ache for this reason every dependence and reliance on Michael from Marias heart was washed away all she cared about was to make sure her children do not grow up in such a painful environment but there was nothing she could do.

But to Maria's surprise there was a decree making slavery illegal in the kingdom and as soon as Maria knew that she pack her bags took her children and left Michael leaving him alone.

Michael was in great distress he blamed Maria for spending his life saving on buying her he hated the fact that he could not own her anymore he hated that fact that she was a lost investment but deep down in his mind he felt that Maria was his that she does not have the permission to exist in this world without him he was very deluded.

As Michael walks up to Maria and sees her, he has a wicked smile on his face Maria spots Michael as well she has worried expression on her face she looked like a frightened kitten.

Michael says to Maria "you fucking bitch how dare you collect money that is meant to be mind do you know how much i paid for you you are so ungrateful after i treated you clothed you and even fed you where will you be without me you have the audacity to walk away from me.

All the other non human creatures in the queue started to look over wondering who is causing a commotion here in the town hall. Even the human guards in the building where looking over getting ready to watch the drama.

Maria takes to steps back it should be said that Maria is usually a bostrous lady but she has a lot of trauma caused by Michael and everytime she sees Michael she turns into a frightened little kitten that is the reason she wanted to poison him.

Maria says is a low scared tone "please Michael not here this is the town hall your causing a disturbance". Michael hearing Marias word burst out in a fit of rage and out of nowhere slaps Maria shouting, "you damn bitch how dare you talk back at me! do not forget your place just because you are free now you fucking whole !".

Maria falls to the ground and Michael starts violently stepping on her shouting at Maria saying "you better hurry up and get you dam reparation because all that money is mineQ you hear me mine! and my children give them back i need does brats to clean my house and wash my clothes you may have left me but i have a right to them they are my children dam it !".

Everyone was watching but no one said a word even the guards did not intervene because they did not care about the elf, to them Maria is not even a person and the other humanoid creatures that was in the queue they were too scared to jump in a help Maria on the fact that Michael is a human

As Michael is violently stomping on Maria, Maria is rolled up in a ball crying in pain then suddenly a hand grasps Michaels by the neck lifting him up in the air suffocating Michael.
