Chapter 171 Found Yang Guifei



A wisp of fog formed at the summit of the mountain, condensing and thickening until the figure of a clown emerged. His red wig and baggy pants billowed in the wind as he laughed hysterically, his voice echoing through the valley below,

"I didn't know Devourver Devil also send someone here but... good with Time, Space, Devourver and X, four of us would be enough to crush down God Realm."

"Like they will help you in your crazy goal," Voice sounded inside the clown man's mind.

The clown man crossed his arms, a confident smirk on his painted face as he declared, "They will, I'm sure of that."

"I don't where your confidence come from, you just tortured the Devourver host and then expecting he will help you."

The clown man's round, red nose, and cherry-red lips stretched into a wide smile. He threw his head back, the bells on his hat jingling, and laughed from deep inside his belly. "Haha, he will, you don't have to worry about that," he said.

"Shao Ren, no killing i hate blood," Ye Kai shouted.

"Okay, okay," Shao Ren rolled his eyes and let out a long, exasperated sigh. He moved quickly, swinging his arm in an arc before driving the heel of his palm into the guy's face. The force sent him sprawling back onto the ground, unconscious.

Shao Ren and Ye Kai create loud noise as they walked to find Yang Guifei and Kirin. As they got closer to Yang Guifei's chambers, they'd come across larger and larger groups of guards. The men stood in silent rows, brandishing weapons that glinted eerily in the dim torchlight. 

Ye Kai didn't like blood, so he and Shao Ren just knock them out.

Shao Ren sighed and shook his head slowly, "I don't think we're a good team."

Ye Kai nodded in agreement, then spread his hands in resignation. "We don't have any other options," he said with a shrug. "Let's just make it work."

"Yeah," Shao Ren said.

Ye Kai and Shao Ren walked ahead in the tunnel. The further they walked, the darker the tunnel became until it was completely shrouded in darkness, with only a faint light coming from the iron door at the end.

Ye Kai's brows creased as he surveyed the tall, heavy iron door before him. He looked at his Shao Ren and asked, "Is Yang Guifei and Kirin are behind this door?"

"That's what I heard but nothing is sure," Shao Ren said and he put his hand on the iron door.

"Whatever," Ye Kai shrugged. He didn't care as much as Yang Guifei and Kirin was alive, so he wouldn't mind if they weren't behind this door.

Ye Kai looked at the big iron door that was adorned with intricate designs, giving it a distinguished air. It was a rich, deep black that seemed to absorb all the light around it, creating an oppressive atmosphere.

"Ren, let me try," Ye Kai said as he saw Shao Ren was prepared to blast the door out.

"Okay," Shao Ren said and he backed off.

Ye Kai smiled and took the sword in his hand he swung his sword and there was no voice, Shao Ren was shocked as he saw the sword moment.

He himself used the sword, so he knew the move Ye Kai did was perfect, and heard the clamor of the iron doors hitting the ground, echoing throughout the empty hallway. He felt the vibrations traveling through his feet and reverberating in his chest.

Shao Ren turned and saw the iron door was cut into two pieces, and the cut was so perfect, Shao Ren had hard believe it. It was clear cut and he also didn't hear any voice of his sword, if Shao Ren wouldn't looking at Ye Kai, then he wouldn't able to sense Ye Kai's sword move.

"What was this move?" Shao Ren asked.

"Hehe, it's Silent Water Sword Technique, One Slash," Ye Kai grinned and said.

"Never heard that technique," Shao Ren said as he go through every sword technique in the four kingdoms.

"Of course, Silent Water Sword Technique is top grade technique, that's is forbidden to outside people to know."

"I see," Shao nodded not showing much interest in the technique, he turned to the iron door that fall down, "Let's go inside."

"Let's go," Ye Kai smiled and he walked inside and saw something he expect it.

Yang Guifei was laying on the ground, her clothes tattered and stained with blood. Her arms and legs were missing, leaving only mangled stumps. Her skin was pale and her eyes were lifeless, surrounded by dark circles. There was a deep wound in her stomach, and her neck seemed to have been broken.

"Well... I expected even worse than this," Shao Ren heaved a deep sigh and stepped closer to Yang Guifei. He knelt beside her and put two fingers on her neck, feeling for a pulse, to check if she was still alive.

"She is alive, Kai, do you have anything to heal her," Shao Ren asked.

"Let me see," Ye Kai said and he checked his inventory. He didn't want to buy anything from the Unlimited Items Shop System, so it would be good if anything was in his inventory that would be useful.

Ye Kai spend a moment and he found something useful, it wouldn't going to regenerate her limbs but it was enough to wake her up.

"Ren, get bit aside," Ye Kai said and walked to Yang Guifei, and knelt in front of her, he took out the glass bottle that had red liquid inside it.

He pour the red liquid on Yang Guifei then he wait for an hour before he saw Yang Guifei opening her eyes.

"Finally you wake up," Ye Kai sighed and said.

"Don't try to think much just drink and rest for while," Ye Kai said and he helped Yang Guifei to drink some potion and then let her sleep a bit more.

"Hmm... where is Kirin?" Ye Kai said as he looked around and only saw Yang Guifei, not Kirin. Shao Ren goes out to find Kirin.
