Chapter 189 Ye Xin

"Sorry,"

"Don't be sorry now... it couldn't be helped that you are weak, your just 5 years old, so you will be strong when you get bigger."

"But even 5 years can walk for one kilometer, I can't even walk half of it."

"Don't be sad, and I'm carrying you so just enjoy this piggyback that I will never let anyone else have it... okay, so just cheer up."

Ye Kai nodded as he looked down at the ground, and saw sometimes his vision come close to the ground and then up as he was tightly holding Ye Xin's neck, and she was holding his legs so he won't fall down.

Ye Xin came to his house to take him up in the mountains to eat Arlo, a fruit that taste delicious.

Ye Kai wanted to eat it for a while and when he told Ye Xin, she got ready to take him up to the mountain where Arlo fruit grows.

It was only a one-kilometer trek, but Ye Kai got tired without even finishing half of the trek, something Ye Kai hate, and seeing it Ye Xin offer him to carry on her back.

At first, Ye Kai refused and he said they should go back but Ye Xin was determined to climb up the mountain and get him that fruit, in front of her Ye Kai couldn't do anything and let her carry him on her back.

Ye Kai watched as Ye Xin's chest rose and fell in quick, shallow breaths. Sweat beaded along her forehead and trickled down the sides of her face, pooling on her shirt before finally dripping down to soak into the ground below.

'She must tried now, she is just a ten-year-old normal girl, carrying me up on a mountain for this long is already extraordinary, but what should I do? Even if I tell her to put me down she won't,' Ye Kai thought and looked at the cute face of his older sister.

Ye Xin walk up in mountain while carrying Ye Kai with her tiny body, getting tried she wanted nothing more than put Ye Kai down and rest for a while but she didn't wish to appear as weak in front of Ye Kai so she kept on walking up on mountain until they reached their destination.

Ye Xin saw a tree with tree branches spread across with leaves on the branches creating a shadow around the tree which was perfect spot to sleep, because of the tree leaves it was cold so Ye Xin let Ye Kai step down and she fall under tree's shadow and closed her eyes.

She lay sprawled on the ground, chest heaving as she gulped air, sweat dripping from her body in rivulets that pooled around her. Her clothes clung to her, sticking to the back of her neck and arms.

Ye Kai looked around and saw a very big and bit sturdy leaf, he run to that small tree and pluck out this big and sturdy leaf, and then ran back to Ye Xin. He sat neatly her and blow wind by big leaf.

Ye Xin who was too tired to do anything felt the wind blowing on her face, instantly she felt good and refreshed as she open her eyes and saw Ye Kai blowing the wind. 

"You're aren't too bad," Ye Xin said and smiled at him, Ye Kai also smiled at her and they rest for a while, and soon the wind started in the atmosphere.

This wind was hot but it had crazy speed which made Ye Kai and Ye Xin do nothing but sleep under the tree, they were laying under the tree near each other and looked up at the tree.

Ye Xin saw the Arlo fruit, it was yello and small, like grapes, they were hanging on the tree, Ye Xin spent some time looking at the fruit before she stood up.

"Okay, Kai just wait a while, I bring you those tasty, juicy Arlo," Ye Xin smiled and said.

"Be careful," Ye Kai said.

"Don't worry, you know how much strong and flexible I'm," Ye Xin laughed and ran toward the tree trunk, digging her fingers into the rough bark. With a grunt of effort, she hoisted herself up to grab onto a low-hanging branch. Her legs scrambled for traction as she pulled herself closer, wrapping her thighs around the trunk. She gripped one branch in each hand and found her footing on a strong limb before pushing herself further up.

Her gaze fixed on the Arlo fruit nearby, its bright yellow skin a stark contrast against the dark wood of the tree. She quickly reached for it, her fingers curling around the smooth exterior. With a flourish, she launched it towards Ye Kai, sending it spinning through the air before landing in his hand.

"Catch it." She said.

Ye Kai got flustered as he tried to catch it but couldn't and the fruit dropped on the ground. 

"Kai... Your too weak, can't even catch this little fruit, seriously, you should thank me that I'm helping you so you can eat this fruit," Ye Xin said as she eat Arlo fruit she just plucked.

"Sorry," Ye Kai said and picked up the fruit he couldn't catch it, and he rub the fruit to his pants before taking a bite and eating.

"Don't be sorry now... Just train yourself and became strong, so when you get big, I don't have to climb the tree," Ye Xin shook her head and said.

"Hm, I will, I promise you," Ye Kai nodded and said with a serious tone. 

"Don't forget this promise," Ye Xin said and she moved to another branch for more fruit.

Ye Kai say Ye Xin plucking out lots of fruit and throwing down at him. Very soon they gathered a lot of fruits.
