Even Jake was surprised. His flames could be used for more than just killing his targets. Since they obeyed his will, they couldn't damage the wood cups. After that, Jake stored them in his magic box.
Once the job was done, Jake looked around and frowned. Usually, after one minute or perhaps even less, a new group would monsters would show up. However, after five minutes, nothing happened.
"It seems your guess was right, Jake," Louise said. "Even if someone cleared the dungeon recently, the number of monsters here is too few."
"Still, if Luke's guild is here, why not guard the place with their members?" Lana asked. "Since we found monsters, it is clear that the dungeon is unguarded."
For a change, Lana was right. It seemed pretty dumb to leave the dungeon unguarded. Either the guild in the area didn't feel the need for it, or they grew tired of hunting the anacondas, and it was no longer useful to them. Now that Jake about it, only a pretty shady guild would want so much poison in the first place.
Nevertheless, the group eventually found more of them after following the direction the snakes were coming from. However, the number of battles was so small that they could recover their entire mana pool between them.
"It seems this is going to be a waste of time," Jake said.
"Well, look on the bright side. We will gain special classes pretty easily," Lana said.
"I am not interested in rewards that come easily," Jake said.
"… I am not interested in rewards that come easily… look at me, I am so cool," Lana said while mimicking Jake and showing a weird expression.
Louise forced a smile, and Karina couldn't help but laugh more than a little bit. The newcomer sure was getting used to the team pretty fast. It was probably because Lana had the same mental age.
After walking for a while, Jake began to sigh pretty often due to the lack of battles. At that point, he couldn't deny that he had become a battle addict. After ten minutes without a fight, when Jake found a new group of Anacondas, he dashed toward them like they were a well in the desert…
"I guess he has lost it…" Lana said. "I am thankful that I didn't decide to become a melee fighter. Please don't get on his level, Karina. Karina?"
Karina had followed Jake, and Lana didn't even notice it. Still, she used her buffs before both of them could actually reach the monsters. Since Jake wanted to enjoy the fight for a while longer, he didn't use any skills and use stabbed the monsters with his sword and shield, but even so, the fight didn't last for long since they were well-rested. That put Jake in a bad mood, and things were only about to get worse for him…
"Who are you, people?"
Jake looked to their right side and then saw a group of humans standing there. They seemed like players who completed the tutorial. In any case, Jake clicked his tongue in annoyance since he had yet to master the ring of mind. Nevertheless, that group also had six people that resembled a lot of Justin's party. There were two warriors, two archers, and two priests. The one who spoke with them was a man wearing a full plate armor, and they could only see that he was in his twenties and that he had brown eyes.
"Wait… a swordsman who is always frowning, a black-haired woman, and a blonde girl," The man wearing full plate armor said. "Your name is Judas… you are the guys that Luke mentioned."

Jack clicked his tongue in annoyance again. It was so unnerving to let people see his status, and he couldn't check theirs. In any case, it seemed that they had found some of his guild members.
"Hahaha, you really do frown all the time…" The man said. "My name is Adam, and I am a friend of Luke's. He told us that your group might come pretty soon, but I didn't imagine it would be so soon. He never mentioned a redhead girl either."
"Hello," Louise said while forcing a smile.
"Hi, my name is Lana, hers is Louise, and this is Karina," Lana said and then whispered. "By the way, don't call him Judas. He doesn't like that name…"
"Ah, I forgot about that," Adam said. "Anyway, we can guide you to our camp, but Luke mentioned that the frowning swordsman wouldn't like the invitation, so what are we going to do here?"
By the look of things, Luke imagined how that conversation would proceed. It was hard to imagine Adam reading their minds, he was a warrior, no matter how you look at him, and so he probably was telling the truth.
"What are we going to do, Jake?" Lana asked.
"If you are here to clear the dungeon, you will have to wait for a while," Adam said.
"… Why?" Jake asked and then furrowed his eyebrows.
"Because we defeated the boss twelve hours ago, the new one will only appear in twelve hours," Adam replied. "We also hunted most of the anacondas as well, so you won't find much prey in here. You can fight other monsters if you don't want to come with us, though. They must be at the level of the salamanders."
That was something Jake didn't know… bosses only spawn once a day. As expected, Luke's guild seemed to know a lot, so while it was troublesome, Jake and the others could learn many things by going with them now.
"All right, we will go with you," Jake declared.
"Hahaha, Luke also said that you would talk like you were doing a favor to us," Adam laughed. "Man, it has been a while since he found someone likes to mess with so much."
