Another thing was the fact that Jake would be buying a fight that wasn't his, and he couldn't tell how it would end. He was pretty sure that the dungeon master had been using theirs for a while, and they had been ripping a lot of benefits from it. So, their strength was hard to measure…
"I can accept your offer if only I could get the loot that I want once we rescue your friends," Jake said.
"Everything that you can get there will be yours… we only want our friends back," Myrna said.
She seemed a bit annoyed by the fact that Jake was more interested in the loot, but Myrna was fully aware that Jake had no reason to be that worried about her people. They weren't his friends, and he was no hero, after all.
Without wasting time, they began to move, and Jake wondered if his wolves would come along with him if he used the crystal instead of the system teleportation method. Regardless, he had to leave them outside the dungeon because only twenty-four people at a time could reach the final room of the dungeon.
"So, did you guys see some type of god reviving all of us after death?" Jake asked when they began to cross the dungeon.
"We can only access the memories when we were alive," Myrna replied. "Our people believe that after death, something called the void exists. However, no one accessed our memories when we were there. If something happened, that made us have this second chance. It happened there."
Void… Jake couldn't even begin to understand what such a place would look like. In any case, could even mana be used in such an afterlife? Now that Jake thought about it, someone very powerful would be able to bring their souls back to the physical realm, creating an illusion of the reality that once they had been, sealed off their memories and then recreated their bodies… that if all what Myrna said was true.
Regardless, it didn't take long for the group to reach the final room, and there they found an even bigger robot guarding the crystal. The creature was just a larger version of the iron golems, but it was at least ten times more powerful.

Jake wondered if the size was equivalent of how much mana the boss could store… Regardless, he could only see himself having a hard time fighting that monster since it only had two ways of attacking, and he had to be the bait in order not to let Myrna and the others get attacked…
"There is no other option aside from me being the bait…" Jake, while furrowing his eyebrows. "I will attack the monster with everything. I have them get aggro before running to its back. Once that happens, you should have a clear view to attack the creature as you see fit."
"The Mana Cannon of that thing should be more powerful than even ten of those combined with that massive amount of mana… can you endure that?" Myrna asked.
"For a couple of minutes, I can only assume a defensive stance and leave everything else in your hands," Jake said.
"All right then," Myrna said. "Let's finish things as soon as possible, everyone."
Truth to be told, Jake still had a few ideas on how to deal with that massive enemy if he had to fight alone, but fighting alongside some other people might make things easier. He also could learn a few things…
When the preparations were finished, Jake decided to move. He had already shown everyone the power of his dark flames, so there was no point in hiding. Not to mention, a powerful starting attack will make sure that the enemy will keep his eyes on him.
In the end, when Jake put his first foot in the room, he immediately followed it with Flash at its max power, and then he appeared in front of the enemy. Before the beast could even more its arms, Jake pierced his sword, enhanced with the dark flames on that thick layer of armor. Much to his surprise, his sword barely pierced a couple of centimeters.
Still, Jake followed with his plan and then began to run to the side around the monster while damaging, even more, the boss' armor. Before he could take more than five steps, the monster finally pointed its arms toward him, and then Jake raised his sword to protect him and thickened the power of his dark flames.
A powerful and massive beam of light covered all of his vision and began to push Jake backward. However, he stood his ground while slowly moving to the side. The boss turned to follow him until Jake stopped when the boss was showing his back toward Myrna and the others. They immediately began to attack…
Meanwhile, Jake felt the temperature of his sword increasing and then burning his hands. Not even the power of his dark flames could stop such a massive attack for long. Still, even in that situation, Jake couldn't help but smirk.
"Hehe, you should use more mana, dumbass," Jake said.
It has been a while since Jake taunted someone so openly. It was weird given that in such a situation, he couldn't do anything. Still, Jake could see the spells landing on the back of the enemy, and making the boss was even more mana.
It didn't take long for Jake to feel his dark flames getting weaker. Still, eventually, they began to grow stronger and more powerful thanks to the damage that Jake was suffering. That pissed him off and then made his hatred toward the enemy increase…
The more time passed, the more the boss began to suffer damage. It was thanks to the fact that the boss was weakened, and the more mana it lost, the less its defenses became effective. Thanks to that, the monster eventually stopped using the Mana Cannon and then raised both arms before it swung down to crush him. Jake blocked it with his sword, but he felt the weight of the monster crushing his whole Body.
Jake cast Regeneration, and that improved things a bit. Eventually, the beast realized that it couldn't defeat Jake like that. So, it charged forward in that situation and pushed him against the wall.
Jake felt his whole body getting crushed, but he made he made the dark flames on his sword spin around the blade. The monster began to have its body being cut around the area of the belly. When that happened, the monster jumped backward and analyzed the situation before turning around to face Myrna and the others.
"I don't think so!" Jake said and then jumped.
In the next moment, Jake attacked the back of the head of the monster, and the sword began to grind away at the metal again. Without turning around, the monster pointed both hands toward him and forced him to jump backward.
The attack still hit Jake, but not before he hid behind his sword. The monster pushed Jake until he had his back against the wall again. However, the power of the spell began to decrease in power while some sparks began to emerge from its body. The combination of spells of twenty-three mages like that wasn't something even a boss like that could take forever.
Still, the monster managed to charge toward them… Jake did the same and attacked the same spot as before. The enemy offered a lot less resistance, and its body began to tremble and slow down. In the end, the creature collided against the walls of that room after the tattooed guys jumped to the side and dodged the advance.

"It is the final push! Use everything you got!" Jake shouted when he jumped away from the enemy.
Even though Jake wasn't their leader, the group followed his command and began to attack the paralyzed boss. With so many parts of the monster's body frozen or melted, the creature could no longer operate properly and then began to fall apart.

Call it irony, but the boss dropped one armor as well. It was a very flashy armor since it was completely gray, it had some spikes on the shoulders and also had a red crystal in the chest.
