It was a bit weird to head to one of those fighting zones before finding even a proper base for the ship. Still, Virgilius said that the repairs were over and that the amount of energy for the ship to work in space wasn't that large. So they didn't have to hurry.
"The place you are heading in is about to be taken by an army of dark hounds," Virgilius said. "While they are called that, they are bipedal creatures that have four arms. The defender's side is…"
"It doesn't matter. While I do like to fight on the underdog side, I am doing this for training," Jake said. "Just put me on the back line of the enemies, and I will find my way."
"As you command," Virgilius said. "Still, I suspect that you would benefit if we were a bit more cautious and did not reveal the existence of my body. So, I shouldn't enter that world atmosphere. To return, you will need our jetpacks. Our special operations uniform also will help you hide your identity. They will offer you enough defensive power."
"That sure wasn't the case when I attacked the others that used this, but I guess it is fine," Jake said. "That uniform was kind of cool, after all."
For the wrong reasons, Jake decided to wear the black ops uniform. He thought that Virgilius would ask him to bring some good warrior specimens, but he didn't. While Virgilius could control them somehow, that kind of soldier couldn't be compared to Jake's might. Besides, Virgilius understood that using pawns like that would never work in the long run.
"I will watch the battlefield, and since the uniform has a communication device, I will be able to offer you some guidance," Virgilius said.
"What else does this thing have?" Jake asked.
"A self-repair function, anti-heat armor, anti-cold armor, antidote that can be injected once your body is infected with all kinds of virus," Virgilius replied. "It is also a magic item that enhances your recovery, endurance, and resistance."
"I guess I will let you work on my armor once we have enough time," Jake said. "Well, open the hatch."
"You can jump from right here," Virgilius said, and then a hole appeared below them, and then Jake could see a small part of a green planet on fire.
"I am off then," Jake said and then jumped.
The uniform was a bit heavy, and since the gravitational field of the planet was already working, Jake didn't have to fly toward it. While he was falling, Jake wondered how his life had suddenly taken such a weird turn… a few months ago, he was facing fire slimes, then he began to travel between fantasy worlds and now he was controlling a spaceship with the help of some sort of AI. You can really never guess what life has in store…
After falling for a couple of minutes, Jake finally got close enough on the battlefield to see an army surrounding a large city… he maneuvered his body to move to behind the enemy lines. Fighting to protect those who he didn't know wasn't something that he usually would do without a good reason, and he couldn't reveal his existence, so that was another reason to just head straight to the offensive.
Instead of the dramatic scene where he landed on the ground as fast as possible and caused a scene, Jake used the jetpack to slow down, and since the enemies were busy fighting, they didn't realize his approach. The jetpack apparently could read his brain waves and follow his thoughts just like that… in any case, Jake landed behind the enemies.
"Well then…" Jake said while watching the black hounds that made him recall orcs with their filled with fur bodies.
Some of them felt Jake's smell and turned to face him. However, he had already dashed toward them and swung his sword. Although the creatures had tough bodies and their fur also added some extra resistance, Jake's sword passed through them. Unfortunately, Jake still was feeling some resistance, and that wasn't supposed to happen, considering the secret behind that technique.

Jake's sword still was working, and since he was already within the enemy's lines, few of them could see him right now. However, he had yet to learn the technique. He already knew that, and Virgilius informed him that people in that universe were supposed to learn new techniques by using them correctly. So, Jake had to sharpen his moves…
"From what I can see, your upper body is working as it is supposed to, but your lower body isn't," Virgilius said. "You need to be more conscious of its movements."
True, Jake didn't look at the legs of the hologram… that was quite the blunder. In the end, Jake's next sword strikes got a lot sharper, and he could feel them improving as they passed through the enemies without feeling much resistance, even though he was swinging his sword around like he was playing a Musou game. Eventually, he stopped feeling like he was cutting down anything on his path…
You have learned the Silent Sword.
Jake ignored that and kept using the technique, it was one that consumed stamina over time, so eventually, he had to stop. However, aside from a couple of enemies, no one noticed him in the middle of that army… they were too excited about the invasion to see what was so close to them.
"I can do this all day thanks to Motivation, but I don't have all day…" Jake thought. "Let's see if I can combine this with Mana Blade…"
Jake began to spam the skill, and while it was enough to kill the nearest enemies, but it wasn't to kill the further away ones. Moreover, the Silent Sword wasn't being activated… but he felt that it could.
"I need more training…" Jake said when he felt the eyes of many enemies on him.
