"Let's see, let's see... today I have to learn the skills of those ancient trents," Leon said after making a mark on another mithril statue. "I finally learned all the skills possible that monsters on the third stage have..."
In the end, Leon didn't manage to keep up the pace. So, it couldn't be helped that he had to summon the monsters he faced in the past to see the skills they had. He was crazy enough to learn and use them to level up as much as possible, after all. Regardless, quite surprisingly, that monster had a skill Leon didn't expect to find.
Congratulations! You have learned the skill: Siphon of Life.

"An area of effect healing skill..." Leon said, astonished. "So, I can finally heal monsters and people without touching them."
Leon wondered why he never tried that before. Most likely, it was because he rarely fought alongside others. In any case, that kind of skill probably would be mortal for the undead... without wasting time, Leon decided to test it.
As expected, the range was limited since still was on a low-level, but the zombies started to tremble, and some part of their bodies started to disappear... even though those creatures didn't have clear valor in health, it took more than a few seconds for them to die.
"When the skill levels up, the health restored increased by ten points, so I guess it is like the usual," Leon nodded to himself. "At the max level, the skill will be ten times more efficient."
The cost of mana was high, but since the range of the skill increased by one meter per level up, eventually, Leon would manage to damage several zombies at the same time. Although he had some summoned monsters, he could use that healing spell, Leon decided to use it on the zombies alone.
"Considering that I can use Fast Conjuration even alongside healing spells, I don't really need it, and there is also Full-Recover, but... why are there so few healing spells?" Leon rubbed his chin.
Maybe it was because one could use a potion or even herbs to recover their health. Still, Leon couldn't help but frown while thinking about it. Full-Recover could heal most of the health of most individuals and even regenerate body parts, but the fact that so few monsters or even sentient being knew that kind of spell bothered Leon a lot. Regardless, even if it was weird, it wasn't a problem for Leon since he could use those skills.
Since the zombies didn't stop coming and Leon could recover mana faster than they could spend using Siphon of Life, he managed to reach the level max using that skill after a few months. Although the efficacy wasn't that amazing against zombies, Leon felt satisfied in having a healing skill that worked at a distance and could heal so many targets.

Although Leon just learned a few spells, he was already looking at the next group because it was a weird choice of magic projectiles. Still, since the latest ones he learned were all area of effect spells, Leon would have to contain his curiosity for the time being.
"It is quite weird that monsters can have so many types of area of effect spells while I took my sweet time to learn them..." Leon frowned while he saw the skill list of a dark harpy. "I guess their status isn't the only thing that grows when the monsters reach other stages of the assimilation..."
It was a pain to analyze those little facts, but in the end, Leon had to because nothing was happening, and he didn't learn the impressive skill. If he just skips those moments by deleting them, he would eventually forget what those skills could do, after all. Regardless, after a few months, Leon finally summoned an ancient lich and then learned its best skills that Leon himself didn't have.

"Phew... I don't really have to use my bones; after all," Leon forced a smile.
Even though it was a bit gross to create bones out of nothing and use them to attack, it still was a very efficient way to cause damage since an elemental resistance to counter that kind of attack didn't exist.
Much toLeon's surprise, those spells were also quite effective against the zombies... Most likely, even though they didn't have a status like ordinary monsters, the zombies still had the sturdiness they obtained in life. Even though the cost of those new spells wasn't low, Leon managed to decrease the work of his mechanical wargs. That leads to fewer deaths in the mechanical wargs. Thus, Leon didn't have to summon new ones while he was practicing his spells.
