The mana Leon thought it would last for two months only lasted for two weeks. Fortunately, at least he was able to kill the dragons and craft new weapons using their bones with the mana he could recover.
"Mmm... weapons of capable of piercing and cutting are impossible, but maybe I can create a hammer using the dragons' scales," Leon nodded to himself. "It won't be as powerful as my spears, but it might help."

Leon was forced to slow down his pace, but he didn't forget to learn the skills the dragons had. Leveling up those to the necessary level wasn't possible for the time being, but a few extra status points would help.
"Create an improved version of my mithril spear, creating other bone spears, learning and training new spells..." Leon sighed. "So many things to do."
At least Leon was so busy that he doubted that he would have to erase his memories for quite a while. Although he was avoiding even getting wounded, Leon was obtaining a lot of battle experience. Still, even considering that Leon couldn't imagine himself surviving against the level max dragons... before, he concluded that he wouldn't last fighting the level five hundred dragons. At least not with a limited supply of mana... but now he had a limited supply and could see himself surviving even the level eight hundred dragons, but that wasn't enough.
Considering the nature of the trial, things wouldn't get easier for Leon after he survives that wave of dragons. Fortunately, by Leon's calculations, he would learn Mindscape Transportation before that happens.
"Let's just hope that will be enough... I guess I should also hope that I will be able to retrieve their bodies if I kill the dragons in an imaginary dimension," Leon scratched the back of his head.
Although there wasn't much, Leon finally had some room to breathe. Even if things get complicated, he still had a trump card... and those were the mithril statues. Although he wanted to use only those as a reminder of the time he spent there, Leon wouldn't risk his life more than necessary just to keep some mithril statues. If anything, he could always create some miniatures of those...

"I feel kind of weird using those attacks, but..." Leon frowned while he was replicating some of the dragons' attack. "Whatever... at this point in time, I don't have the leisure to worry about how do I look using this kind of attack."
In any case, now that Leon had a lot of meat, he decided to level his skills Health Sacrifice and Stamina Sacrifice. Using skills that consumed his health or stamina on the dragons wasn't an option, so that was a good way to put them to good use... Besides, he was getting a bit plump since he took a liking to dragons' meat and Enhanced Taste.
Leon doubted that he would reach a point by using those skills where he could think of facing a dragon directly, but in the end, every point in health and stamina would increase his survivability. As for mana, the only way for Leon to increase it would be by using status points, since he had to fight and couldn't count on the help of his summoned monsters.
Regardless, even though barely had enough room to relax, one month passed in the blink of an eye, and he finally had enough coins to learn Mindscape Transportation.

"Mmm... I thought it would cost a lot more mana to use it," Leon rubbed his chin. "There is something wrong here..."
It didn't take long for Leon to understand why the cost of the skill was just that given its nearly infinity possibilities. Although it was weird, he could move himself to the imaginary dimension, and there he found nothing... he had decided to create a grassland of some shorts using that skill, but it looked like the spell didn't work like that.
After some tests, Leon concluded that he had to create everything in that imaginary dimension using his own mana. Fortunately, once he creates something, that very same thing would be stored inside that dimension forever.
"I see... so, if I create a copy of mithril spear, I will be able to attack anything with it without worrying about the extra cost of mana," Leon nodded to himself. "But it looks like I will have to spend the same amount of mana to create and store those things..."
Basically, if Leon wanted to create one hell of a spear in his mindscape, he could, but the cost would be the same as if he was making a real object... and that was weird since the mindscape was basically the world that worked with the rules he wanted. However, that wasn't the only weakness. Since Leon would create everything using mana, his enemies would also be able to use mana there.
"Well, at this point in time, it would be weird to hope for a skill that would have no drawbacks," Leon said. "Anyway, this spell will still be very useful for my purposes."
