The flurry monster had changed almost drastically. Its vines now featured whole portions that had stopped being green and were now bright yellow. Not only that, but its size had increased, and its vines were now longer and seemingly more versatile.
Noah could tell from his position that shaving off portions of its vines would now be harder. After all the monster had become a proper middle-stage creature even if only at its bottom. Coupled with t being powered by a tinge of the speed forces power.
'It's almost ten whole levels higher than me,' Noah thought trying his best to shut the alarms that rang in his head at the monster's empowerment. He had to be honest, the empowerment more or less resembled his.
Taking multiple steps back while causing his chains to float around him in a defensive formation, Noah prepared himself for whatever the Flurry was about to throw at him.
Thankfully he didn't have to wait too long, since the creature suddenly burst into a wave of roots and deadly vines.
Noah's chains shot forwards at that point, but he felt mildly shocked to find that the vines far outnumbered his offenses. Nevertheless, he unleashed what he could on the vines he managed to grab with the chains while trying his best to dodge the ones he could. The unavoidable ones smashed into his figure, instantly digging through his armor and into his skin.
An explosion of dense erratic energy occurred less than a second after that event, and a cry of pain from the Flurry resounded in the expanse after it.
Noah withdrew himself while severing the vines that had dug into his skin, with surprising difficulty. Blood poured out of his injuries, but his new armor covered them with its light, and his body started to work on them.
'It's as strong as I expected,' Noah grimaced when he felt a significant portion of his Hp get shaved off after the exchange, leaving him slightly pale.
The light from the explosion quickly died down, and the scene before him disheartened him even more. The Flurry still looked in top shape, but he had managed to destroy a bit of the vine which had already begun to regrow of course.
Doubts began to gush into Noah's mind at that point. The outcome of the exchange had quickly proved to him how bad his situation could become.
He still paid attention to the amount of SE he had available; knowing that the real boss was still a floor away.
Contemplation on whether or not to quit rose in his head, but he had to hold it back since the Flurry launched another attack, or rather attacks.
A brown magical circle expanded beneath the figure of the monster, then a relatively significant portion of the creature's vines suddenly separated from the Flurry to morph into what looked like smaller versions of itself.
With their number standing at 12, Noah had to take them seriously since they too could stretch their vines.
Noah however, turned into a deep-yellow streak of crackling energy to directly bypass the Flurry's line of defense and arrive behind it. He did this after retracting his chains.
He comprehended how dangerous that action was, but he desired to know where he stood in that battle since only through that could he know what decision he would take.
Noah's arrival didn't go unnoticed, but the Flurry didn't have the same limitation as the serpent due to its unique flexible body, so it could immediately send many of its vines forward to impale Noah, while still creating a series of defenses around its core.
Noah noticed the desire to protect its core and gained an idea, but he had to escape the vines first, which he easily did.
His bright figure appeared right in front of the Flurry, and his right leg suddenly saw crackling energy forming on its figure, to create a sharp blade in the span of an instant.
Noah raised his now-armed leg to perform a horizontal kick towards the Flurry's head. Unfortunately, the energy blade shattered as a result of the creature's hard vines, but Noah wasn't done yet.
Turning into a streak before the Flurry could attack, Noah arrived at the far end of the expanse as another idea formed in his mind, one that felt able to directly destroy his opponent in one go, but he first took care of the tiny versions that were scrambling around trying to catch his rapidly moving figure.
A whitish-blue magical circle expanded beneath him, before suddenly multiplying into five other ones. Two icy golems each emerged from one magical circle, and Noah didn't hesitate to allow them to shoot forward.
Before he made his plan a reality, Noah raised his right hand, and a series of ice spikes manifested high above him. Their number surpassed fifty and their size was exactly 3ft. He lowered his hand and they rained down upon the Flurry.
A cloud of coldness quickly rose after that attack, but a whitish-blue beam of erratic cold particles raged forward with the sound of many waters and burst through the cold mist. Unfortunately, a figure seemed to deflect most of its properties.
Seeing as his attack hadn't been enough to kill the beast, Noah shrugged since he had only decided to try.
However, even if his cold beam had been unable to kill the creature, a big portion of its vines had been frozen. Especially at its lower portions. Noah understood that because of this it would be unable to move, thereby almost guaranteeing the success of his next attack.
Seeing as his golems were handling the small Flurry's quite easily, Noah allowed his chains to manifest themselves again.
The sound of thunder rose inside the expanse drowning all other sounds with its intensity. Noah exerted his control over his crackling chains to force them into attaching to each other.
In the span of a few seconds, he was done, and the attack he prepared was revealed to the world, and they looked almost like his energy blades. Only stronger and longer. Far longer.
A weight none like anything he expected from the chains applied itself on his arms. After forcing the chains to entangle themselves in a fashion that almost resembled a blade. Noah had further reinforced their edges with dense electrical energies, ones that he allowed to be thin and sharp.
The length of the chains reached the other side of the room even passing the still busy Flurry, who had begun to act frantically.
'I have become a massive pair of scissors,' Noah laughed inwardly. His expression soon turned serious and he focused his gaze on the Flurry, who seemed to notice the cold gaze.
Noah had poured 6k SE into allowing his chains to become proper blades, he bet everything on that move. If he didn't succeed in killing it, then nothing in his arsenal would be able to. In essence, he would be quitting afterward.
Taking a deep breath and exhaling sharply, Noah moved his consciousness to relieve the weight of the chains on his arms, even if most of them remained; which were due to the reinforcements that weren't part of the chains.
Raising his arms, Noah watched the surreal scene of both massive blades probably 6ft in width and more than 800m in length, rise. The Flurry immediately sent waves of vines to wrap around his blades, but its vines were either burnt or directly severed when they touched the sharp erratic energy.
A grin broke on Noah's face at that sight, and he didn't hesitate to swing his towards each other.
The whole expanse seemed to turn silent, and to Noah's astonishment, he found that his blades struggled to directly reach the creature's mid section.
A loud cry escaped his mouth at that point, as he poured all the strength his arms could muster into trying to allow both his blades to meet.
Feeling his arms suddenly meet no obstruction, Noah watched his blades slide through the Flurry's literal tens of defenses to arrive on its core.
A small shattering sound followed by a reverberating boom so powerful that it sent him flying even from that distance; right after bursting his ear drums.
The whole expanse shook violently, large cracks beginning to expand on its walls after an erratic wave of dense electrical energy washed over them.

Noah received these messages after a river-like wave of deep-yellow particles entered his body from the blinding yellow light the explosion generated. Unfortunately he could barely rejoice due to the large rock that almost crushed him. The underground expanse had suffered a great deal of damage and it was falling apart as a result.
