'It works with blood,' Noah thought commanding Muliix out of his figure and on his skin. In the span of an instant he had stopped being the white haired man and was now donned in the black material that made Muilix.
It was fortunate he did so since the bear suddenly regained stability and rammed its head into him, successfully damaging the red vines and sensing Noah flying.
The sound of tens of trees having their lower portions destroyed echoed in the forest as Noah's figure traveled faster than the speed of sound smashing through trees until the power in the headbutt ran out.
A hard groan exited Noah lips from behind Muliix's helmet and he couldn't help but close his eyes before reopening them to get rid of the slight dizziness he had experienced during the violent ride.
"It's gotten stronger... I think," Noah muttered, his eyes on the cloud of dust and debris rushing towards his position from the distance.
Getting on his feet, he figured he would run for the red flower just before the bear touched him. But this time he would push his speed far beyond the mach 2 he had utilized earlier.
The peaceful aura of the forest had now gone down the drain, but Noah didn't care much. He never did to begin with, he simply wanted to uncover what that plant actually was.
The bear eventually arrived in Noah's visual range and he felt stunned at what he laid eyes on.
The darn thing had undergone a huge transformation.
Now it stood on both its leg which had transformed to allow that type of posture.
Its claws had gotten longer and glowed with a red light, emitting a foreboding aura even from that distance.
The bears fur had completely gone red and had increased in volume. The beast resembled a puff fish if not for the fact that its puffy hair felt dangerous.
And finally the beasts mouth and face. It would look mostly the same if not for the red glow in its eyes and the bucket load of saliva that dripped down from its mouth and the sharp teeth that could not be hidden by its mouth.
Noah could tell that a direct fight with the beast would be hard, and even the system confirmed that.
[Savage Bear]
[Tier: 3[???]
[Affinity: Wind[Unavailable]]
[Level of danger: Unknown]
The maddened beast sighted his figure and increased its legs speed, aiming to reach Noah in barely 2 second. Unfortunately for it, right before its got there, Noah turned into a blinding yellow streak that directly appeared in front of the red flower.
However, Noah left a surprise for his blood hungry friend as it saw exactly twenty icy-blue magical circles expanded around the stunned beast to give birth to forty ice golems not nearly as tall as the 6m tall figure of the maddened bear.
An explosion reached Noah's ears from the more than a kilometer worth of distance as his small army of golems held the bear down.
Focusing his gaze on the plant Noah watched red vines sprout for the ground, but they soon began to move in slow motion to him.
Noah walked towards the plant while everything moved in slow motion to him. He crouched before the plant and his dagger appeared in his right hand.
He wasn't going to touch it, but he believed nothing would go wrong with a weapon.
Slashing at the red flower plant, The sound of metal striking metal tried to reach Noah's ears, as he felt shocked to find that his dagger broke upon contact.
Ice spread from beneath his feet to create an encircled wall of thick ice around he and the plant, away from the vines.
Noah furrowed his brows while glancing at his broken dagger. He felt sad about that outcome and he threatened to unleash his anger on the plant, but he calmed himself while allowing his mind move at extreme super speeds.
Cudgel appeared on his palm as a pin, but he made his staff enlarge until it resembled a proper staff in his hand.
Activating its elemental charge, Noah turned it into a mass of deep yellow current, but made its edges give birth to a blade of condensed energy, after which he swiped his staff at the plants base and watched the blade disperse upon contact.
Noah cursed at that point. Cudgel was his level, and that outcome meant he didn't have the power to cut that plant.
Many ideas began to run in and out his mind at that point, and after searching his items he had to come to a conclusion.
He had nothing that could deal enough damage to the plant.
That conclusion felt obvious since the plant was capable of empowering a higher stage beast until it felt way stronger than before.
It had to be somewhere closer to tier 4, already tier 4, but the system couldn't show anything apart from its name.
[Crimson Herb of madness]
He had never been in such a situation, so he didn't know what was wrong.
But even if he had nothing that could directly cut the plant, he figured he wouldn't give up until he was out of options. He had already lost too much to the plant.
With his environment still moving in slow motion to him, Noah crouched and started to dig with his bare hands.
Moving passively at that speed continued to burn Speed Essence, but it didn't matter as long as he could find a way to get that plant in his inventory.
Noah began to dig around the plant and his action caused the environment to begin to shake as a thick cloud of dust appeared around him.
A person digging with their bare hands would normally not advance quickly in such a project, but Noah was different. He had the power in his fingers and the speed in his actions to make bare-handed digging look easy.
In mere seconds he had gone more than 3 meters below the surface, but the plants root continued to stretch downwards mightily.
The vines however, did not attack him even after they had destroyed his wall of ice. However, Noah didn't mind that since he continued to separate himself from the surface with walls of ice.
He continued to dig until something changed.
Suddenly Noah felt the formerly difficult terrain give way beneath his figure when he tried to dig, and an open space unfolded in his vision while he fell through the hole that he had dug.
Noah plunged to the depths of the dimly lit environment until he landed on solid but slightly moist ground.
'What the fuck,' he cursed getting rid of the literal heap of soil that had buried him.
Scanning the environment afterwards, however, made his heart skip a beat.
And the reason for that reaction would be none other than the rivers of blood that filled his sight. And of course the tier 4 aura that permeated the environment.
