Noah stood at that point, his entire being ready to burst forth and escape if such was necessary. He couldn't clearly see the person from his position, so he waited a bit. Notwithstanding he had quickly worn his mask in that period.
Noah waited until the person was within perfect visual range before making any decisions, and he felt mildly surprised to find a gorgeous woman nearing him.
In the span of a second Noah took in her features. She looked mostly young, featuring a face in its early thirties. Her head featured long blonde hair and her eyes were sky-blue in color.
Noah could see that they shone even from his position but he quickly left her face to see her attire.
She remained donned in a long regal yellow dress that was quite fitted on her. It featured a thigh-high slit that shimmered with the lights of inscriptions.
In short, she looked majestic while she neared him.
"From where do you hail?" Her voice suddenly rang out in a commanding tone. She remained about 20m from his figure but he could hear her as though she stood right in front of him.
Noah however, kept silent, he still didn't know who she was as her dress didn't feature any crest he was familiar with. It didn't feature any crest at all actually.
"Are you deaf, young man?" She commanded and Noah felt tempted to nod.
"How do you expect me to tell you who I am when I don't know who you are," Noah voiced his words.
"Whatever do you mean by that?" The lady spoke even if her tone lacked any surprise.
"You're stronger than me. And you have a tower that stands grandly in the middle of practically nowhere," he began.
"Cusk has enemies and I cannot tell you who I am until I know you're not a threat."
"I see," she muttered, surprising Noah had she had not objected. "Your words are valid, but even still. You should learn to speak respectfully to your elders," she furrowed her brows.
Noah limited himself to remaining silent at her words, but she knew he wouldn't speak until she confirmed herself to be at peace with their nation.
"Very well. I am Riveta Telsimon. A citizen of the Cusk nation. That's all you need to know," she announced never removing her gaze from Noah's figure.
"Now can you remove your mask? I have seen you ever since you arrived here," she added waving her hand dismissively.
Noah clenched his teeth at her revelation, but thanks to his mask he didn't seem to have made any reaction to her words.
"Do so now or you will face consequences," she threatened coldly, and Noah was forced to do so.
"I am Aiden of the Divine Lightning guild," Noah bowed taking off his mask ad storing it.
"Hmm... It's a pleasure to meet you Aiden," She revealed gazing at his face. Had she ever seen any man that beautiful before? She wondered to herself.
A silence fell on the duo for a few short moments, before Riveta spoke.
"What are doing all the way out here, Aiden?" She asked, genuinely curious. She had been there a while now and no one had ever visited the plain. It was completely void of human activity. And even beasts. Apart from the ones capable of flying.
"Exploring," Noah replied.
"That's pretty plain. No one crosses hundreds to almost thousands of miles of distance away from civilization simply for exploring. At least not in this current time," Riveta tilted her head to the side, revealing her neck, and Nah could swear that they glowed.
"That is true. But I truly came here exploring. I recently had the freedom to do so, so I did. Even if I still have tasks at the back of my head," Noah explained sitting on the ground.
Riveta silently watched him sit before focusing his gaze on her figure, but she had disappeared from the sky.
"It's been a long while since anyone forced me out of my tower. Truly it's nice to meet you," Riveta sounded from beside Noah.
He had not seen her movement since he hadn't been focusing on her, but how silent she had been still made him marvel.
She stood next to him, but it felt as though she didn't exist. She radiated no power whatsoever, leaving his instincts struggling.
Truth be told, Noah had been startled, but he kept his cool.
"Say, how exactly do tier 4's fly?" Noah suddenly voiced out his curiosity while gazing at the sky filled with memories.
His question forced an eyebrow to rise on Riveta's face but she replied anyway. But it wasn't what he wanted, even if he expected something like that.
"Don't you want to wait to find out why when you step into that realm?" She responded beginning to float, catching Noah's attention in the process.
"I find it Interesting that you did not immediately fret at my presence. You seem chill. If I were to say so myself." She changed the subject.
"What position do you hold in the Divine lightning guild? You certainly are not the average member," she voiced her curiosity floating higher than a few feet.
"Well the reason I seem unafraid is because I have ways to escape you if needed," Noah revealed wondering why he had said that, but found out immediately.
"And as for my position in the guild well, I definitely am not the average member," he shrugged.
She held no hostility towards him. Her interactions had said so. He had not even spoken about the ways he mentioned, but he had revealed his ability to do so, so she would be cautious about doing anything fishy.
The idea was a two-edged sword. On one side he could keep himself from danger since he had not revealed his said ways and would not. While on the other side he could have a tier 4 cultivator pestering him about his said ways.
Things could lead to another she had seen his face and clearly knew of the great guild. Her tower even spoke of her possibly high status in the Cusk nation. In short, things could go south quickly.
"Oh my," she exclaimed arcing an eyebrow, placing her right hand on her mouth.
"This has to be the first time I've heard that a tier three cultivator had ways of escaping a tier five existence," she revealed and watched the blood in Noah's face rapidly drain. Turning him ghostly pale.
Noah jumped on his feet a second later and performed many flips backward; away from her figure. Riveta couldn't help but burst into laughter at that point.
