Unlike his time within the third tier, now that he had advanced and the rules had changed, Noah had received a minimized notification of receiving exp whenever he absorbed energy from his environment.
He had no idea how much of it he had received, but simply knowing that he could absorb mana-based creations to strengthen himself was a lot.
A huge mass of smoke rose to the sky after the lightning bolt ran out of power, but Noah cleared it. His figure was out in the open at that point, and he brought out an attire from his inventory to wear.
He had visitors.
Ignoring the sheer carnage around him, Noah stepped on a platform of condensed air to float upwards.
Although he could absorb mana-based materials, the reality remained that he wasn't mana-based anymore. So unlike the experts of Cregar, he couldn't command that energy to make him float.
For now, he would settle for constructs. His mind was capable of making the air around him one massive platform after all. His capabilities had been greatly enhanced.
Donning himself in a luxurious-looking purple attire, Noah swept his gaze on his surroundings and caught sight of four figures. All humans.
They neared his figure with caution. He could quite literally smell their fear.
Noah felt different. Now that the bracelet had crumbed and there remained nothing stopping his real identity from reaching the world, they trembled at the monstrous being before them. He didn't feel like he belonged to them.
All of the experts were men, unsurprisingly. But Noah had not the patience to accommodate them. His Death lord title was finally reaching its peak. It would take him a while to control it.
His silver eyes grew colder. Thanks to his advancement, his mind had stopped featuring the two portions and was now back to normal. But now that the title's passive ability came to play. The silver pillar sitting at the very center of his huge island lost a few of its functions.
Noah became extremely cold and calculative. His emotions were leaving him after all, and it wasn't something he could stop. Even if he wished he could.
With that event came a dark miasma. The stench of death's ability made itself known. The tier 4 experts drew back at that event. His presence had transformed right before their eyes and it sent a chill down their spines.
"What do you want?" Noah's silver eyes gazed at those experts with blankness. His gaze felt condescending, but that wasn't so. He had forgotten how to feel disdain.
Or rather than forget, he had become incapable of doing so. Ersha's memories contained many scenes where she gazed at individuals, not even humans with disdain, so he technically couldn't forget it.
No one responded when he spoke. They all regretted coming there. Noah not only felt like he could kill them. But he gave the aura that he could do so fairly easily.
They had watched him battle that unusually strong avatar. It had a prowess halfway into the lower stage of the fourth tier. All of them only had power a bit above that level. Yet. they figured they would struggle in such a fight. But he had wiped it out with one major attack.
How could a newly advanced feel so strong? They each thought. They had seen the flashes of light and the aura of Cregar's avatar and thought it a thing of joy to welcome a newly advanced. The present situation of the country would need such an existence.
Things were different now however, they all thought they could die there.
Noah's silver gaze remained unyielding, but something else caught his attention and the attention of the others.
His instincts buzzed with danger. Something was coming and it could hurt him, but he wasn't scared. He lacked the ability to after all. Yet he moved.
Noah turned into a silver streak that left that area. As soon as he did so a burst of blue flames filled the sky.
All four of the experts found themselves getting seriously injured by the power of the flames. But to their shock, Noah had disappeared. His movement had shattered the sound barrier and caused a burst of power, but the flames nullified it.
Stopping many kilometers away. Noah wondered what had become of the four cultivators. One had ended up dying in the flames.
"Reveal yourself," He announced gazing at a certain area far away from him. His instincts had reached a new level of accuracy after becoming a Dark Speedling.
His words met no response, but a strange aura filled the world around him. A green light filled the entirety of his surrounding. And a figure became evident quite literally out of thin air.
The event brought forth no reaction from Noah.
'Teleportation?' He wondered inwardly but soon concluded on it.
The black-veiled figure bowed before his presence. A woman.
"I have been sent to enquire about your identity," A feminine voice reached Noah's mind. She interacted with his mental waves. They felt sturdier than ever.
"I am Noah," he responded. "Why have you attacked me?"
The lady remained silent as tens of green magical circles expanded around her.
"He calls himself Noah," the lady said while amid the circles.
"He has the same aura as the individual you said we should watch out for about three decades ago, It's far stronger, even." Her words instantly allowed Noah to conclude on the amount of time he had been within the chamber of time.
"Who are you speaking with," Noah stepped forward, already ready to act if necessary. The lady's aura grew violent at that action. He remained silent.
"I understand," the lady said before the circles dispersed. Her gaze fell on Noah's figure and he felt hostility.
"Are you the one called the heir of the god of Speed?" The lady asked as blue flames sprung up around her.
Noah nodded, he saw no reason to lie. She seemed convinced that he was the one after all.
His nod made her aura explode forth with power.
"The being whose presence remains a stain in Cregar. You will bring about her destruction. I will be the one to rid this world of you!" Her aura, grew revealing her Middle stage prowess.
"I merely just returned and I'm already being sought out to be killed." Noah sighed; a few of his evolved and new skills came to mind.
"No worries, after this, you'll tell me who you are," His figure exploded with a silver light. His essence reserves were still near their peak, and he wasn't tired one bit.
Noah turned into a silver streak even if he knew his base form could struggle against her. Their battle remained spectacular.
