Recoiling in pain, Noah sat on the ground while the lady's lifeless body remained on the ground.

Her name had been Kir. She had come from a poor background but had come to power after working hard for a long period.

Her power always possessed better quality than many of her peers. This had brought along with it, an uncontrolled pride.

Many times she found herself in unfavorable situations due to it, and some had even tried their best to advise her, but when she achieved the fourth tier, it skyrocketed. Being a personal journey her pride had intensified, but she wasn't stupid.

According to her memories, Noah saw that she had never taken anyone far stronger than her.

She had simply been unlucky encountering him.

Unfortunately, Noah found, many areas of her memories blank. Like dark. Still, the word immortal remained frequently used after a certain portion of her life.

"Nothing," Noah sighed closing his eyes. He should have known something like that was possible.

Who were the immortals? he wondered. They had given him a lot of trouble. Made him take certain decisions he wouldn't have had they not come to play. He wanted to eradicate them.

Getting up, he felt it would take him a few days to heal the injury to his soul realm. More quality meant damage took a long time to properly heal. Fortunately, he could still do things, only experiencing pain when he exerted himself too much.

Folding his mental waves, Noah tapped his foot on the ground and ice instantly barreled out in all directions. That event inevitably cooled the environment. The only thing Noah had done to benefit the world around him.

Even at that, many months would have to pass before those damages could be properly repaired. Those were the capabilities of fourth-tier entities.

Stepping on a dense platform of air, Noah made Kir's body and his daggers disappear after her green mana core had shot towards him of course. The system's functions were still in play. Even the tusked beast's mana core had come to him a few seconds prior.

"Where am I," he muttered gaining an idea. Noah sat down on the platform of wind, while he generated a whirlwind. He sat within this whirlwind as he traveled across the lands.

Before he adequately interacted with anyone, he figured he should check out the thing he had gained after becoming a tier 4 existence.

He opened his status panel and gazed at the vast changes in its stats.

There were added skills and changed ones. His speed force affinity however didn't feature any sort of spells. And Noah understood why. Unlike his elements, Speed wasn't elemental. It was a concept.

Were he not a Speedling with all his gained memories, that would have greatly confused him. But he understood. Even better, there were abilities not recorded by the system.

Like the fact that he could take another form. He considered it an innate ability. Like talking or blinking. So not seeing them there didn't surprise him. Not like he could currently feel surprised anyway. He had also gained one level after killing Kir.

Noah moved on from his stats to the other prompts.

"You have gained access to the inventory of beasts. You will now be given the chance to choose a beast as your pet."

Noah blinked twice when that event occurred. He furrowed his brows wondering why a voice had sounded in his head.

"I am the system," The female voice articulated again, and Noah could only rethink a few things.

"The system?" He asked out loud and a ping sounded in his head.

"I never expected this," He admitted recovering from the loud sound originating from his very soul. The system existed there after all.

"I know you didn't." the feminine voice replied with a real giggle. Things were getting weird, but Noah could take it.

"It's taken me a while to properly activate this function. From now on you will hear my voice whenever you receive a notification. I'll read them out to you," the system or she announced with excitement.

Noah furrowed his brows even further, but he didn't object.

"So all this while you've been the one talking to me," Noah asked still processing the obvious truth before him.

"Yes, but no. The fully conscious part of me had been locked away from you. But that limit has been removed now. The mission is now in full activation all that you need must be available for you," the system explained, her voice bouncing from different points in Noah's head. As if it moved about.

"I see," he muttered having halted the movement of his whirlwind.

"Are you feminine because I am a male?" Noah asked.

"No. The god of speed created me like this. But I can mimic a masculine voice if you desire it. A divine item can do far more than that, even," the system explained, and Noah felt his curiosity get piqued.

"Is that so? Tell me a few things you can do then," Noah asked resuming his travel.
