Chapter 562 562. RUDE

Elder Adonis spent the next few hours telling them all that they would need to know and even giving them maps of the said city. The city of Yeldel.

It was a large city almost on par with the dragon claw city. There was still a lot that the claw city had over it, but among the cities in the cusk nation, it was around the top 5 largest and more prosperous.

The three noble families in charge of the city, were the Uro family, the Earl family, and the Opoli noble family.

To Noah's in-existent surprise, one of the noble families who had been part of the five that led to the deaths of Erolia and her family was present.

The Earl family.

He wondered why a family of that status would go about ruining the lives of others. Then again, they might not have been doing too well before the war. Nevertheless, the mission turned somewhat personal.

Noah retained that information from Erolia for a bit. He could block her from gaining access to his mind, but only once in a while did he find a reason to do such.

Apparently, the royals had sent images of the individuals they would be sending, and Noah had recognized the face of a certain individual. He immediately connected the dots to arrive at a conclusion that shook even him.

The mission turned even more personal, but he couldn't get rash.

The explanations soon finished and they were allowed to rest for a day. They would depart immediately after that.

Noah had met with Elder Velsvon and the two had agreed to talk when whatever missions they gave him were over. Noah suspected that he would spend more than a month,l running errands, but he couldn't be sure. He considered that reality, however.

Noah received a new communication amulet which had truly been different from the other one he had. They had made a few tweaks to it.

Elder Velsvon essentially shared his contact. Allowing both to be able to communicate from great distances. Green mana stones were within the amulet after all. Noah had quickly become important and could receive such.

Even elder Ezra shared her contact with him.

Noah spent more time with Jane and a bit with Elder Sarah. She hated how busy he had gotten, but would not complain. He was her student and truly she felt proud of him.

A day was quick to pass and several experts stood high within the dark rumbling clouds of the city.

Noah had eyes on the twelve individuals in his group, elder Sarah, Elder Ezra, and elder Adonis.

"How much time do you anticipate your mission will take?" Elder Sarah spoke taking note of the twelve that Noah led. They said a few things about her that she heard. They weren't offensive, however.

She believed they wanted her to hear since mental waves would have blocked her ability to listen in on their conversation.

"About a week. Maybe more," Noah replied. "It depends on how things go. But a minimum of one week. We'll be searching the whole city after all." He further explained, rubbing the bridge of his nose with a finger.

The elder nodded at that point and Adonis chipped in his opinion on the matter.

"The city is also big, and we never gave them any real source material apart from the lady's face and the cauldron's appearance. They'll be doing most of the work," He kept the other task away from elder Sarah's ears, even if she suspected that there was more.

"This will be considered an S-rank mission. There are higher stages present in the city, so it'll require caution." The expert added even if Noah remained unbothered by that reality.

The higher stage he spoke about were elves and they were not allowed into the estates of the families.

He also felt certain that the noble families felt untouchable. After all, not even the royals had done anything yet. And who in their right mind would take on such a job for absolutely nothing in return?

"We should get going," Noah announced after a few more exchanges occurred.

Elder Adonis and Sarah nodded at that point, but to their shock, his chest suddenly lit up with a white light and a cerulean streak bypassed the cracks beneath his clothes, and even his very clothes to shoot forward into the world.

Erolia's giant figure unfolded in their eyes and elder Sarah couldn't help but shoot an incredulous gaze at Noah.

"When did you get this?!" Her eyes never left the spectacular-looking beast before her. The bird was everything regal and beautiful.

"Not too long ago," Noah responded dismissively. She almost choked on her shock but sighed it off.

"You never cease to possess tricks up your sleeves. You'll have to give me a ride on it when you return."

Noah shrugged in response, gesturing that the others climbed on his pet's back, he would do the rest.

"Also, her name is Erolia," Noah announced getting on her back while he created a dome-shaped film of wind around him and the others. They could sit comfortably or even lie down.

Elder Sarah simply nodded, while Elder Adonis cleared his throat, taking in what he had seen. Aiden really intrigued him.

"It's rude to not say anything," Noah commented tapping Erolia's back. His actions and words greatly perplexed all those present, and they watched that scene with interest.

Erolia seemed to sigh since she lowered her head to gaze at Elder Sarah and Elder Adonis. Both could feel incredible intelligence behind her multicolored gaze.

"I'm Erolia, nice to meet you." Nothing in the world could prepare the minds of those experts for those simple words, since it took even elder Adonis a few seconds to properly understand what had occurred.

"By the fucking gods!" Elder Sarah streaked out of the area from pure shock. She swore her head had spun when Erolia's beak moved to release soft words. Her tone like that of a real female.

"His bird spoke!" Even Noah's group marveled, standing on their feet in utter astonishment.

Noah watched Elder Adonis freeze for a little more while, whilst his master returned her eyes still wide.

"Your pet spoke!" Her mind trembled again. In her life, she had never seen tier 4 beasts speak.

"Yes…" Noah replied. "Maybe I shouldn't have told her to." His tone was soft and relaxed. As usual.

He could see that both elders had bubbling questions in mind. "Maybe later." He quickly shattered every chance of allowing them to speak.

"See you later." He tapped Erolia's feathered back.

"Bye…" Uncomfortable, Erolia spoke again, spreading her huge wings to flap them once.

Her glowing figure shattered the sound barrier to pierce the clouds at unholy speeds. Leaving both elders, once again; stunned.
