Chapter 600 600. TRUTH
It took a bit for everything to calm down and Elder Adonis simply floated, silently assimilating the gains of his new level.
His silver hair fluttered in the new winds and his figure shone with a resplendent violet and white light.
"How do you feel?" Elder Uriah went forward. The barrier disappeared the moment she placed her hand on its surface.
A dense gust of wind unfolded from within the released barrier and even Noah felt the charge those air particles now carried. They mix with the rest of the world and things were quickly back to normal in that aspect.
"A-mazing," Elder Adonis responded, still stunned that he had attained that level of power. "Everything is different. I never knew…" His words were lost into mumbles. The expert exuded astonishment, but also excitement.
"Yeah yeah." Elder Montel waved his hand even if he felt glad about the breakthrough. It had taken Adonis a bit more time to reach that level, but his base remained great thanks to that.
Noah could only continue to stare at the expert while he exchanged words with the two grand elders.
It didn't take long for the scene to change, however.
"Aiden… what do you think?" Elder Uriah asked, and Noah tilted his head to the side in uncertainty of what she asked.
"Attack him." She stated, and he stroked his chin as though in thought. Elder Uriah opened her mouth to speak at that point.
"We're already stronger and I don't want to risk killing him. It's public knowledge that even though you only recently entered the higher stage your power far surpasses that measly level. You're the safest person here to attack him."
Noah nodded without saying a word. There was no need.
"Also give him your best," she added, albeit he made no reaction. He understood that his best would be his Speedling form. That was a no-go.
The two grand elders moved back while Elder Adonis simply revealed a light smile. His features looked brighter.
Noah crossed his palms before his chest and stretched them towards the young-looking man before him.
His aura intensified as he unfolded his consciousness till it covered an incredible amount of distance. Silver light started to seep out of his figure and the very area that his presence touched glowed with a soft silver radiance.
A dense pressure fell on the area, for although he understood that he simply couldn't call upon the peak of his prowess he would call upon the best he could.
Needless to say, even those experts marveled.
The weight Noah unleashed on the area caused portions of the terrain to directly shatter. Huge fissures expanded in the area as he did great damage for simply showing his power.
Elder Adonis could not but shake his head even if he trembled inwardly. Already, Noah was far more powerful than he was in the fourth tier.
Very quickly after that phenomenon started, the sound of rumbling exploded into the world and a rather small sphere of crackling silver sparks unfolded before Noah's crossed palm.
Not being more than the size of a man's head, it remained nigh insignificant compared to those he normally released in his middle-stage prowess.
Nevertheless, Elder Adonis's eyebrows flickered when the power bottled up in that mass became visible to him.
The vastness of Noah's energy pool stunned him. He almost couldn't wait to understand how strong he had become. Once upon a time, such a manifestation would put even him in a hard spot.
Noah didn't take long to answer the expert's wishes.
The moment the silver bolt appeared, a blinding silver light unfolded into the environment and the sheer pressure it emitted reached terrible heights.
Despite the horrendous rumblings it roared with, the crackling sphere would not destabilize and detonate. Even Noah testified to the fact that had he tried such at his middle-stage level he would have struggled to keep that massive offensive under control.
But his expanded understanding and capabilities allowed for rather interesting types of offensives, Noah could see himself approaching the fifth tier at a rapid pace.
The silver light swallowed his figure, but Elder Adonis's light could beat that one in terms of intensity. The two existed in whole different realms, and although Noah's light would be considered Barely seven seconds had passed since all these occurred and Noah finally let go of the crackling sphere.
unapproachable to the fourth tier, in the fifth tier it was interesting at best.
Barely seven seconds had passed since all these occurred and Noah finally let go of the crackling sphere.
Elder Adonis had moved back a few hundred meters, but the bolt arrived on his figure the instant it left Noah's control.
A blinding explosion unfolded into the world and a sea of sparks manifested with terrible intensity. The magical manifestation could be sighted literally miles from their location.
Noah shook the region with the might of his attack, and he nodded in approval. But only at its power.
The expanding mass of sparks stopped expanding to converge on itself till they were non-existent suddenly.
"That was interesting," Elder Adonis revealed, allowing all of Noah's attack to spin on his right index finger. He had compressed it until it was no more than a pebble-sized disk.
Noah simply nodded, still not willing to speak.
Elder Adonis clasped the mass in his hand and vanquished it. That was the prowess of an expert in the fifth tier. An attack capable of wiping out whole cities had been quenched that easily.
"Try again. And I somehow know you're capable of unleashing more at the same time. So please do that," Adonis nodded at Noah.
Understanding what to do, Noah simply stretched his right hand rather casually but called forth ten of those crackling spheres.
That show of power put surprise on the faces of the grand elders.
"Damn," Even Elder Montel had to remark. In his long life, never had he seen such an exceptional expert. Noah had the potential to become the most powerful expert in the entire guild. His current level spoke of that great possibility.
Nonetheless, Elder Adonis continued to tank those attacks effortlessly and the region never stopped shaking. Adonis realized that he could not throw an attack.
One; because he had barely any energy in his core, and two, because he understood the consequence of even considering unleashing an offensive.
It was said that battles in the fifth tier were able to shake the entire nation. And several fifth-tier experts could testify to that truth.
The chains of fate continued to move as the entire planet drew nigh to a season in its existence that would spell a new era for the creatures that existed on its surface.
Noah never felt the gaze of the world leave him after a certain point. From the look of things, a significant event drew nearer and nearer, but he would wait until certain things were in place before he took any major decision.
