Chapter 216 - Delmas Andrien and his team arrive.

When Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei returned home, they sent a Mercedes van to pick up the wedding gown designer, Delmas Andrien, and his team from the airport. Also, three bodyguards were sent to serve as an escort with their own car, on seeing that the time for their flight landing was close.

After an hour, Delmas Andrien and his team arrived at Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei's new home.

Chen Lihua was so excited to learn of their arrival as she couldn't wait to see her gown, although it has not been completed.

As she just came out from the shower, she hurried into her closet to find an appropriate outfit. At least she had to look decent since she was going to meet with important visitors.

Meanwhile, Liu Longwei was busy with an urgent call, so he couldn't come out to meet with them.

Comparing their (Liu Longwei and Delmas Andrien) status, Liu Longwei doesn't have to go out to personally welcome them.

But Liu Longwei had already made arrangements, before their visit. He assigned his two butlers to welcome them if by chance something crops up, that is if he or Chen Lihua wasn't available.

So the two Butlers immediately went to receive the guests.

Delmas Andrien and his team of two females and two males had several suitcases with them.

The Butlers welcomed them with a proper smile and showed them into the house.

Delmas and his team sat in the living room meant for visitors, and they were served fruit juices, bottled water, fruits, and cookies to serve as refreshments, as they waited for the couple.

"Andrien!" Chen Lihua called out excitedly when she came into the living room with Liu Longwei.

"Lily!" Delmas called out, as he and his team stood up to greet them.

"Oh, my Lily! You are looking as beautiful as ever," Delmas spoke in French while smiling at her.

"Thank you!" Chen Lihua said, finally walking over to them. She even abandoned her husband in the process.

Liu Longwei was lucky that he had long legs as well, so he followed her immediately while wondering what his woman was so excited about.

Coming to her senses, Chen Lihua held Liu Longwei's arm and introduced him to Delmas while speaking in French.

With an excited voice and a beautiful smile, she introduced both sides. "This is my husband, Longwei. Longwei this is the renowned wedding gown designer based in Paris."

"Hello, Mr. Longwei, it's an honor to meet you," Delmas spoke up first while stretching forth his hand for a handshake.

Liu Longwei shook his hand and replied with a tight smile, "Nice to meet you."

Chen Lihua noticed his stance before leaning in to speak in his ear with gritted teeth, with a fake smile on her face, "Smile."

Liu Longwei threw a glance at her before giving a polite smile to Delmas and his team.

"Please have a seat," Liu Longwei said while gesturing to them to sit down.

"Merci beaucoup (thank you very much)," Delmas and his team answered before sitting on the couch.

"De Rien (no problem)," Liu Longwei answered as he sat on the couch with Chen Lihua.

Then the two teams talked for a while before the servants showed them to their rooms.

And after they freshened up, they came out to enjoy the French dishes Chen Lihua asked the chefs to prepare for them.

"When are you starting with work?" Chen Lihua asked just as she wiped her mouth with the napkin.

Delmas did the same before answering her with a charming smile, "This night."

"Why so soon? You should take a rest to recover from the jet lag. You can then start work tomorrow morning," Chen Lihua suggested.

Delmas refused her with a smile, "Time waits for no man, and I don't want to rush the finishing of your gown. And besides, the afternoon and evening are enough for us to get over the change in the environment."

"If you say so. If you need anything at all, the two servants assigned to you will help you out," Chen Lihua said.

"Lily, since you've seen me, you have been on about your gown. Do you care about me at all? Because we couldn't ship the gown and the materials, we had to pack them all in our travel bags. And then no much space was left for personal items," Delmas said with a fake frown.

"Oh my! Am so sorry about that. But you know I care about you and your team, and that's why I've made so many arrangements, to ensure that you are comfortable. Don't worry, after taking a nap, you can send two members out of your team to the shopping mall, to get some necessities you all might need. Then, you start work with the other two. Don't worry, the bill is on me," Chen Lihua said with a beautiful smile, as her dimples were displayed.

"That's why I love you," Delmas said with a satisfied smile, as he went around the table to give Chen Lihua a peck on the back of her palms.

Chen Lihua just chuckled before leaving to instruct the butlers to make some arrangements for two of Delmas assistants that would be going out to shop.

Then she took the elevator to the third floor and went into her room to make some phone calls. As most guests that were coming for her wedding will start arriving from tomorrow, including her friends, especially the bridesmaids.

Liu Longwei did not have lunch with them, as he went out after answering an urgent call.

Meanwhile, somewhere in country C.

Liu Huiling and her husband just finished eating when she reminded him of her brother's wedding that was coming up in four and a half days.

Then they argue about him coming back late, and him cheating on her.

"Longwei's wedding is in a few days, and I just hope that you would cancel any appointment you have scheduled for two days to attend the wedding. And I also hope that you would stop coming home late and spend some time with the children," Liu Huiling said to her husband, without a smile on her face.

The man with the average looks glanced at her with a frown as he asked in a harsh voice.

"Why do I have to cancel all the appointments I have just because of your brother's wedding?"
