Chapter 240 - Chen Lihua's ride arrives.

The reason she didn't want her mother to see her wedding dress was because she knew her mother very well.

Everything won't just need with her seeing the dress, she would also want to take a couple of shots and might even want her to put it on in her presence.

Madam Liu advised Chen Lihua to do a handover, so all the works will not overwhelm her, and she needed to rest, and not to be stressed this day.

Lady Chen chimed in as she very much supported the motion.

So Chen Lihua appointed her mother and mother-in-law to supervise everything going on in the house to ensure that everyone knew their roles.

"Me?" The two women asked while pointing to themselves.

"Yes. You two are very much experienced and have no major work at the moment, so you have to help me," That's was what Chen Lihua said to them.

As for the wedding souvenirs, Chen Lihua entrusted her sisters-in-law to help watch over the work, while the servants packaged them.

The wedding souvenirs were too many that Chen Lihua's friends and sisters-in-law had to put a hand.

It's not like it's today they decided to start packaging the gifts. But the problem here is that over a thousand guests were coming for the wedding, and the gifts had to be that much.

The packaging of the wedding souvenirs has been going on for a few days now. So what's remains now was about two hundred (200) bags, which needed to be placed with gifts in it.

While this work was going on in one of the rooms, the kitchen was bustling as the Michelin chefs were very busy preparing lunch for everyone.

Chen Lihua received a call after a quick lunch from Vivian, her Wedding planner, who called her to come and check on the wedding venue.

Chen Lihua immediately hurried out with one of her home friends, Xiaoxiao and model friend, Gigi.

They left with a jeep and two other cars for the bodyguards.

Chen Lihua had sunglasses over her eyes and a mask over her nose and jaw.

So when they arrived at the venue, they bodyguards surrounded them immediately, as they helped them get in.

Immediately they entered the venue, Chen Lihua and her friends almost thought they had stepped into paradise.

The wedding venue was fully decorated with flowers, colored lights, and other beautiful wedding decorations.

Chen Lihua exchanged pleasantries with Vivian.

Chen Lihua was in awe as she stared at the wedding decorations.

She and Vivian walked around the venue while Vivian talked about some things.

"Are you satisfied? Do you have anything you are not happy with?" Vivian asked her with a smile.

"No, I am satisfied. Vivian, thank you so much, I can't tell you how happy I am," Chen Lihua said to her while giving her a big hug.

"You are welcome. It's my job," Vivian replied.

Chen Lihua and Vivian sat at a table as Vivian told her other plans she had for the venue, while Gigi and Xiaoxiao walked around in admiration.

They were almost tempted to take some pictures, but they managed to restrain themselves in time.

Vivian pointed to the place where Chen Lihua would come in from, where she would sit with Liu Longwei, and some other important points to note.

"Where is your husband? He is supposed to be here with you," Vivian asked.

"He has other things he's busy with, I am sure he would come later," Chen Lihua replied with a smile.

"Ok," Vivian said in understanding.

"Don't forget, no part of this hall should leak before tomorrow. In fact, till the reception," Chen Lihua instructed.

"No problem, you have my word on it," Vivian responded while smiling.

Then Chen Lihua smiled and said goodbye to her before leaving with her friends, as Vivian continued to instruct her subordinates.

When Chen Lihua arrived back home, she noticed some changes with the decorations on the house and the environment.

For instance, right now, she was seeing more security cars parked in the vicinity, and two helicopters hovering over her head.

Before she could ask questions, one of her personal bodyguard's she left behind at home, came over to report to her.

"Boss said you needed more security as the wedding day was tomorrow, so he sent them over here. He also said that you shouldn't be bothered and can consider them invisible."

Chen Lihua nodded her head before walking past him with her friends, who were giggling like kids behind her.

"Am so jealous, Mr. Liu loves you so much," Xiaoxiao said dreamily.

Chen Lihua stopped walking and turned to reply to her, "Don't worry, I will help you find a husband if you don't get one."

"Who needs your help?" Xiaoxiao huffed jokingly.

The three ladies laughed and went into the house together.

Next on Chen Lihua's list was to go through her wedding vows. So she went into her room to get the book where she wrote her vows so that she could recite them.

After reviewing them for a while and still couldn't find any meaning to what she wrote, she shredded the pair while saying to herself, "Lihua, you can do this without the book."

And so, she began to recount everything Liu Longwei had done for her since they signed their wedding certificate.

And as she recalled them, words came to her mind, and so she closed her eyes to think about the words and save them to her head.

She didn't need any big grammar to write her vow. If what she and Liu Longwei felt for each other was actually love, and they also genuinely care about each other, then writing vows wouldn't be difficult. 

Chen Lihua did her homework now, she now knew what to say as her wedding vows.

While she was gulping down a bottle of water, continuous knocks resounded on her door.

Chen Lihua thought there was an emergency, and so she quickly rushed to open the door.

She opened the door to see Liu Dongmei and some of her friends standing there with big smiles on their faces.

"What's the matter?" Chen Lihua asked anxiously.

"Your ride for tomorrow has arrived!!!" All of them squealed at once.
