I wish there was a way for Chen Lihua to avoid the calamity that was to befall her in the future, but let's hope she overcomes it.
Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei went to one of the hotel rooms to change their attire, and to retouch her makeup (Chen Lihua). At the same time, their guests listened to and watched an opera performance by a renowned opera artist as they waited for them.
Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei came back to the hall, just as the opera performance, ended.
Now it was time for dinner, the first-course salad, which served as an appetizer, were served to the guests.
Then the first toasts which were given by the maid of honor, Angel (ladies first!), followed by the best man, Liu Liwei.
The second-course meal, which is the main course, were served to the guests, and the second toasts were made by the bride, Chen Lihua, and the groom, Liu Longwei.
While the dinner was ongoing, lots of performances were going on. There were dances, choreography, comedy, ballet dance, a little drama from the children at the orphanage group, and a lot more.
Two renowned music artists performed as well.
This was indeed a wedding for the wealthy; as some famous people wrangled for a spot to perform at this wedding.
What a golden opportunity for them to perform amidst big shots from around the world; their reputation and fame will soar high, and they might even land a brand new contract.
So these famous people that performed during Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei's wedding reception were indeed privileged to be sitting over a gold mine.
When the desserts were served, the stage lights ???? turned dim, as a video was projected to play on the screen.
It was a 20 minutes video that comprised of Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei's childhood, from their early stage, up to their present stage.
So, the guests enjoyed their deserts while watching the video.
The video had funny moments of the couple and little clips of their marriage proposal. It was such a heartfelt scene.
The guests were all smiles as they watched on, and this showed that they were moved.
Next on the list was the wedding shoe game, so the video that played earlier on was like an introductory aspect for the game.
Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei each sat on a chair, backing each other. They removed their shoes and exchanged one of them with the others while placing their legs on a low stool.
The MC made a funny comment that cracked up the couple and their guests.
The guests all had their eyes on the stage in anticipation.
Now, the game started, as the MC asked the first question.
"Who is the better cook?"
Chen Lihua raised her shoe, and Liu Longwei raised her shoe as well, so the guests clapped their hands.
"Who is the first to admit they are wrong?"
Liu Longwei was the first to make a movement. He raised his shoe as he chuckled softly. Chen Lihua could hear him laugh, so she smiled as well and raised his shoe.
She didn't even need to think twice, because Liu Longwei was always the first to apologize to her, even when he wasn't at fault.
"Who takes longer to get ready?"
Chen Lihua raised her shoe, and Liu Longwei did the same.
There was no need for any of them to overthink because most of the time, Chen Lihua would need a makeup artist and a hairstylist to get ready before going out.
"Who is the most romantic?"
The guests were trifled with laughter, as this question very intriguing, but Zie Yu and the other jealous ladies we're an exception.
But Zie Yu's jealousy had the highest degree, as she was seething with rage while clasping firmly on her wine glasses.
If a little strength was added, nothing would stop the wine glass from shattering into pieces.
So with a little reminder from Zu Mei, she released the wine glass, while still staring at Chen Lihua with a piercing gaze.
At the stage, Chen Lihua blushed as she raised Liu Longwei's shoe, not daring to raise her head, while Liu Longwei raised his shoe with a proud smile.
"It seems like our bride is shy," The MC teased with a smile with his eyes on Chen Lihua.
The guests laughed out loud, as they had their eyes on the stage, and whispered some words to each other.
"Who is more likely to cry during a sad movie?"
Chen Lihua raised her shoe, and Liu Longwei raised her shoe.
"Who is more stubborn?" This was another funny question that made the guests laugh.
Liu Longwei quickly raised Chen Lihua's shoe, as Chen Lihua followed suit.
"That's my daughter," Lady Chen said to Madam Liu with a smile, and the latter laughed with her.
"Who is the most patient?"
Liu Longwei raised his shoe, and Chen Lihua raised him as well.
"That's my son!" Madam Liu commented.
"Who said I love you first?"
Obviously, it was Liu Longwei.
"Who is the better driver?"
Chen Lihua confidently raised her shoe with a smug smile. At the same time, Liu Longwei struggled internally for a while before lifting her shoe up.
"Wow! It seems like sister-in-law is good with cars," Liu Liwei commented excitedly.
"Shame on you, Longwei!" Gu Jian said
"You really can't blame him, he always had a chauffeur to drive him to his destination," Li Da commented.
"But that is not enough reason for his driving skills to be so rotten!" Han Jian said.
"The last time Longwei drove with me in his car, he drove like a snail, and the worst part was that he couldn't speed up, as he was scared of colliding with another car," Mu Boqin said while laughing hard, and the others joined him as well.
"I bet you felt like kicking him out of the car," Wu Bohai said in laughter.
"I didn't dare to push him out of his own car, but I succeeded in taking over the steering from him," Mu Boqin said proudly.
