The restaurant manager told her he didn't send any videos out of the CCTV clips. He only deleted them on someone's order.
And when Zie Yu caught that word, 'On someone's order' she immediately inquired of the person's identity.
When the manager hesitated to divulge the person's identity, he got whacked in the head with Zie Yu's handbag, so he had no other option than, to tell the truth.
With this clue and the hint given to her by Liu Longwei, she finally discovered the person's identity.
Zie Yu was furious because the culprit was someone she used to trample on, and now it seemed like she suddenly grew wings to fly away from her grasp.
"Wait until I deal with you, bitch! You think you have grown wings because your family sealed a few deals, and looks like it is more powerful than mine, I will show you who the Queen of the social circle is!" Zie Yu swore.
The next morning before the couple left for their workplaces, Liu Longwei told Chen Lihua all his findings and the game he played on the culprits.
Chen Lihua wasn't surprised that Liu Longwei would catch the culprit; she trusted his capabilities.
She thanked him for helping her out before leaving for the hospital.
'Did she forget to give me a kiss?' Liu Longwei thought as he watched his wife walk away.
As the day for the heart transplant surgery was fast approaching, Chen Lihua told Liu Longwei she would be away from home for three days.
Liu Longwei understood her love and dedication to her work, so he complied. He would just have to swarm himself up with work, so he wouldn't miss her much during the time she would be away.
Chen Lihua was in a hurry today, as Liu Longwei kept teasing her this morning, thus delaying her.
So she had to rush up to work as quickly as possible.
Liu Longwei sent two bodyguards after her since they wouldn't be seeing each other for three days.
Chen Lihua didn't have the time to argue with him, so she just allowed him to have his way. The most important thing for her right now was to get to the hospital on time.
She has never been late since she started working at the hospital. The latest she had been was appearing a minute to the allocated time, so she has never been late.
Walking into the hospital, Chen Lihua signed in, and when she was about taking the elevator to her floor, she bumped into someone.
"Am sorry," she apologized without looking at the person and entered the elevator.
The person she collided into was the same transfer doctor she bumped into the day when he was transferred to SUH (Standard Union Hospital).
The foreign doctor wanted to call out to her but changed his mind when he saw how much of a hurry she was in.
He smiled to himself and walked away.
Fortunately, Chen Lihua got to her department on time, and she finally relaxed when she settled into her office.
"Longwei, you are lucky!" Chen Lihua muttered under her breath.
It looked like she would have killed her husband if she was late today.
Chen Lihua checked her schedule for the day and sighed in relief.
Since she would directly be assisting the Chief Cardiothoracic Surgeon, her schedule was cleared.
She only had to do ward rounds in the morning, and then take a long break before meeting with the patient with the other surgeons in the evening.
Till now, the identity of the patient had remained hidden for reasons best known to the Chief.
According to the Chief, the patient had a special identity, so he could not let his identity be jeopardized before or even after the surgery was over. So he was only being careful.
But they would finally meet the patient with a special identity that evening, in order to prepare him for the surgery against tomorrow morning.
After her ward rounds, Chen Lihua took a long break.
Usually, she would have been going through the patient's record and trying to get more knowledge about the surgery. But she chose to relax, and that was because she has been preparing for the surgery for weeks already, so she chose to relax now.
Chen Lihua played relaxing music in her office through the fancy Bluetooth speaker while eating some cookies.
In the evening, when the patient arrived with a helicopter, the surgeons in charge of the surgery were called over to a small meeting room by their Chief.
They met a distinguished figure in the meeting room, who was the patient they would operate on in less than twenty-four hours.
The patient was the Minister for finance of Country C.
The surgeons, including Chen Lihua, were overwhelmed with surprise. Still, they all masked it with the professional smiles on their faces.
Chen Lihua wouldn't have recognized the man if he didn't attend her wedding, and if the Chief didn't introduce him to them.
Even if the Minister attended her wedding, she wouldn't have recognized him if the Chief didn't introduce him to them.
While the Chief was speaking with them, the Deputy Chief was all smiles and tried making small talks with the Minister. But after receiving a look from the Chief, he contained himself.
Chen Lihua sneered at him and was caught red-handed by the Deputy Chief himself. But Chen Lihua didn't care and moved her gaze back to the Chief.
The Deputy Chief stared at her for a while and scoffed after looking away from her.
The Minister took his time to gaze at the surgeons that would be working on him. And when his eyes landed on Chen Lihua, he looked surprised, but then he smiled before whispering something to the Chief.
The Chief listened to the Minister's words before gazing at Chen Lihua, and then he nodded with a smile before whispering something back to the Minister.
The Deputy Chief followed the Chief and the Minister's gaze to Chen Lihua, and he became envious. But Chen Lihua, who was the centre of attention, had something else going on in her mind.
