Hand in hand, the two went to Mall to get some gifts and then branched into a massage parlor.
They were attended to by males and females.
This couple knew what they wanted.
Chen Lihua felt so light and free after the massage. She made a mental note to come to the massage parlor when she had the chance or even request a home service.
Liu Longwei wanted to tell her that there was no need to go out to do some things or buy some things because he had money and power to get all those things done.
But he refrained from saying it on seeing how happy his wife was for stepping out from the house.
That idea immediately left his head because that suggestion would look like he wanted to lock her up in the house and not let her see the world again.
Back home, they had lunch before they went into the game room.
"What kind of game do you want to play? Chess, video games, pool, darts, bowling.....?" Liu Longwei asked.
Chen Lihua looked around the room before looking back at him.
"I don't know how to play games, but we can try anyone."
Liu Longwei gave her a puzzled look. How could she bring up the suggestion of playing games when she didn't know how to?
'Well, I will teach her.'
"Let's try darts first, then bowling, pool, and then Chess," Liu Longwei suggested.
"Okay," Chen Lihua agreed without a second thought.
Liu Longwei started with the darts. He picked a few darts and threw them at the dartboard, and they all landed on the bull's eye.
"Wow! You are so good at it," Chen Lihua said in amazement.
"Yeah," Liu Longwei said, smiling at her.
"It's your turn; come and give it a try," Liu Longwei said as he took back the darts he threw out earlier.
"Okay," Chen Lihua replied with a little excitement in her voice as she went to stand in the same position Liu Longwei threw the darts from.
"You won't hit anything if you throw the darts from there. You are a novice, so move closer to the target," Liu Longwei chuckled softly as he advised.
His suggestion made sense, so Chen Lihua listened to him.
She threw a dart from her new position. The dart hit the double ring, but it was far from the bull's eye.
This showed that if she threw the pin from her previous position, she would have made a joke out of herself.
Liu Longwei clapped for her as an encouragement.
"Do you want to learn how to shoot?" Liu Longwei threw the question at her.
Chen Lihua paused her hand in mid-air at the question but then continued throwing the darts.
"Yeah. I feel it's cool," Chen Lihua replied.
'You feel that learning how to make a gun fire a bullet is cool? Who dares to think the way you do?' Liu Longwei thought to himself.
"When you perfect hitting the bulls-eye with the darts, I will teach you," Liu Longwei promised as he set a target for her.
"I get what you are trying to do. Not bad," Chen Lihua replied as she threw out another dart, and it hit the triple ring.
"I like the challenge, and I think it's fair enough, so I will take you up on it," Chen Lihua said to him with a smile.
"That's good," Liu Longwei replied with his gaze on her.
"So why don't you start by teaching me the rules of the game and showing me some techniques so I can learn faster," Chen Lihua requested as she couldn't wait to begin her new challenge.
"Relax. I will take you to a place next weekend. So for now, just have fun," Liu Longwei said, sending a wink across her way.
Chen Lihua sighed before nodding and continued to throw the darts.
But in all that she did, she still couldn't hit the bulls-eye, but that didn't discourage her at all.
Instead, she found courage in her failure to do better.
Even if she still couldn't hit the normal bull's-eye, she got an advantage by throwing the darts.
Her right hand was currently being trained to throw things from a distance, so it was a matter of time before she learns how to or being able to hit the target.
Liu Longwei sensed her determination and smiled. Then he noticed that she was now better at throwing the darts as the force used by her right hand increased.
He was proud of her.
When her right hand started to become tired, Chen Lihua changed to her left hand, but it was doing a lot worse than her right hand.
She couldn't even throw the darts straight.
She would throw out a dart with a direction in mind and with her gaze in a particular direction, but could someone please tell her why the dart was going in a different direction altogether?
She glanced at Liu Longwei, but the latter had his gaze at the direction the dart flew to, while trying not to laugh loudly, and at the same time, avoiding locking eyes with her.
"Stop laughing! It's not funny!" Chen Lihua said, a little annoyed.
'Like seriously, what's so funny?' Chen Lihua thought.
She didn't see anything funny in what happened, so why was Liu Longwei laughing at her?
"I'm sorry," Liu Longwei apologized as he was trying hard to hold in the laughter, but the look on his face already told Chen Lihua that he wasn't sorry at all.
So she glared at him before turning to face the dartboard and continued practicing with her right hand with the goal that she would try to make her left hand as strong as her left hand.
The goal she had in mind was difficult to achieve for people like her who have been using their right hand all their lives and was already used to it.
Well, with determination, she could achieve her goals because she was having these weird thoughts now, 'What if something happened to her right hand, does it mean she would have to quit performing surgeries?'
She couldn't help but think this far since the Deputy Chief tried to ruin her glasses to stop her from performing the heart transplant surgery.
She felt that he was capable of ruining her hand, as well.
Leaving the Deputy Chief and his troubles, she felt the need to have both hands working for her. She wanted to train her left hand to be able to do what her right hand can do, and more if possible.
