Chapter 448 - Thinking of their future

As the time for Chen Lihua's delivery date was fast approaching, Liu Huiling and Liu Dongmei had to make emergency travel to go and help Liu Longwei out, as there was indeed a company emergency.

"Huiling don't tell me you regret Parting ways with that bastard? After the call, Liu Huiling told her mother and Chen Lihua of her plans, and they encouraged her to go ahead.

Initially, they were worried about her and wanted her to go sightseeing, or do anything that would make her happy again, and keep her from thinking about the past.

Now traveling quite some distance away for work is a good thing, at least work could distract jer for now.

At night, Liu Huiling packed her bags as she talked with her little girls.

"Mum, are you going off to somewhere just like Dad?." Little Apple asked with an expectant look on her face.

At the mention of 'Dad', Liu Huiling pause in her actions, but later continued as if nothing happened.

"I'm going on a business trip, but I will be back before you know it okay?."

"But mum, we will miss you so much," Cherry said as she gazed at her mother with her eyes shining brightly.

Liu Huiling put the last clothe in her bag before zipping them. Then she Squats as placed her hands on Cherry's shoulders.

"Mum will miss you girls too, but I will be back in a few days. But till then, you two have to be well behaved like the way Mama thought you. Stay with Aunt Lihua till I'm back, but do not give her troubles okay?."

"Okay, Mummy!." The two girls chorused together in their lively voices.

"Good girls." Liu Huiling said as a smile appeared on her face as she gently rubbed their hair.

"Mum, the baby in Aunt Hua's tummy is so cute?." Little Apple said as she gestured with her hands.

"Really? How do you know that?." Liu Huiling asked with much interest as she sat on the bed and gazed into her daughter's eyes.

"He plays with us each time we call out to him," Cherry replied happily.

Liu Huiling became very much confused. How did they manage to play with a baby that's not yet been born?

Seeing the confusion written all over their mother's face, they knew that she was in desperate need of an answer, so they hurried to explain how they play with Chen Lihua's unborn child.

"I see. But do not play with the baby a lot, you will be disturbing your Aunt, got it?." Liu Huiling instructed.

"Okay, Mum!." The girls chorused again.

That night, Liu Huiling didn't allow them to return to their bedroom after dinner. She took them to her bedroom.

Liu Huiling quietly kept the book aside and turned off the lights before covering their bodies with the duvet.

"Good night my beautiful angels." Liu Huiling said as she kissed their foreheads.

After that, Liu Huiling laid on her side with her back on the bed and her eyes life upwards, as she became lost in thought, probably thinking about her and her children's future.
