Chapter 470 - B.r.e.a.s.tfeeding her baby

"Rest well." Madam Liu said before walking away.

"I don't feel like leaving, I want to stay here." Liu Dongmei said as she made cute faces at the baby, but has was shocked at the outcome.

The doctor smiled as she replied, "The baby must be hungry. Mrs. Liu, try feeding him."

Liu Longwei noticed her difficulties, so he optioned to help her hold the child.

Chen Lihua glanced at his outstretched arms, and at her crying baby as she contemplated.

Right now, she would rather give the baby to the doctor or the nurses to hold, than hive him to Liu Longwei, because she felt he wouldn't know how to hold a baby.

Liu Longwei noticed her hesitation, and so he smiled as she asked, "What? You don't trust your husband anymore?."

At this time, the doctor came over to save the situation.

"Mr. Liu, I will place the baby in your arms." The doctor said as she took the baby from Chen Lihua and gently placed him in his arms, as she showed him how to hold the baby.

"You are doing very well Mr. Liu." The doctor said to him with a smile on her face.

"Sweetheart, have you seen that I can hold a baby so well? You've forgotten that I followed you to most of your antenatal classes." Liu Longwei commented as he gazed proudly at his child that was looking at him curiously, as he wailed.

"Oh!." Chen Lihua exclaimed softly as she unzipped her dress. Then, she glanced at the two nurses that were still in the room.

The doctor smiled as she instructed the nurses to clean and sterilize the baby's feed, and so get hot water ready to clean Chen Lihua's body.

One of the nurses left the room with the baby items, while the other one went into the bathroom and emerged a few seconds later with a wet towel and handed it to Chen Lihua.

"Wipe your b.o.o.b.s with it." The doctor instructed.

Chen Lihua was a little embarrassed her boos were going to be seen by an outsider, but her crying baby was hungry, so she couldn't care about that now.

She opened her dress to reveal her chest which was still covered with the sports bra. Next, she proceeded to take one of her b.o.o.b.s out and saw it dripping with milk.

"Your baby's cry can send signals for the release or secretion of his food." The doctor revealed with a smile on her face.

Chen Lihua wiped her b.o.o.b.s with the warm wet towel before handing it to the doctor who in turn, passed it to the nurse that was standing at the side.

The doctor then took the baby from Liu Longwei before placing him in Chen Lihua's arms.

With an arm holding the child, Chen Lihua used the other hand to direct her n.i.p.p.l.e into his mouth, and immediately, the baby stopped crying and started sucking it.

Chen Lihua smiled as she watched her child suck his food away.

"This little guy looks very hungry." Liu Longwei said with a smile on his face as he watched his son.

"The baby can still survive the night if he doesn't eat today. As you b.r.e.a.s.tfeed him, you feel some contractions, and that would help to remove some of the blood in your body. Alright, I will leave you three alone for now. Call me if there is anything, I will be right outside the door." The doctor informed them before walking out of the room with the other nurse who just came out from the bathroom.

"Your b.o.o.b.s are almost bigger than his head." Liu Longwei said as he had his eyes fixed on the baby's head and Chen Lihua's b.o.o.b.s.

"You... You... When will you stop being shameless?." Chen Lihua asked.

Liu Longwei chuckled softly as he watched their son. He saw that the little guy had his eyes closed as he still sucked his mother's boob, so he asked.

"The milk must be delicious, even the little guy has his eyes closed. Can I have a taste?."

Chen Lihua stared at him in shock. "Longwei, I think you need to leave the room. I'm still in pain remember." 

"Alright, but remember what I said." Liu Longwei said to her, ignoring her stares.

Outside the room, Madam Liu and Lady Chen were busy cooking for Chen Lihua in the kitchen, they were elated. Now, they could finally see and hold their grandchild.

Liu Huiling made calls to her father and Liu Liwei, sharing the goodness to them.

The outcome could very well be guessed. They were happy. Liu Huang said he would come the next morning, while Liu Liwei said he would come that very day, even if he got there at midnight.

When Lady Chen came out from the kitchen, she made calls back home to inform the family of the good news.

Chen K wanted to hurry over immediately, but Lady Chen stopped him. "It's late, come tomorrow morning. And besides, our daughter is exhausted and would need to sleep."

It was late at night, around past 10 PM, so it was quite late.

Lady Chen informed Aunt Lin and Changying. They were all very happy to receive the good news, and they rejoiced with them.

"It's good that Lihua and the baby are safe." Liu Dongmei said with a smile on her face.

"Yeah. And I'm sure that after watching Lihua pass through this pain and process, the brother would be very overprotective of his wife and child." Liu Huiling said as she smiled.

"Of course. Brother already loves his wife so much. But watching her go through the process of childbirth without helping her, he would swear with everything in him to keep his family safe." Liu Dongmei said.

"That's right Mei, why did you leave the delivery room mid-way, were you sad that something would go wrong?." Liu Huiling asked.
