“Yawn ……”

“You look sleepy, brother?”

“Yeah …… I was watching trying to keep out of the way of what dad was doing. Lars worked so hard, I should work …… Yawn …… harder at something too.”

“I’ll help you if I can. If there’s anything I can do to help, I will.”

“Yeah. No, maybe Lars will have to help ……”

I’ve heard that my brother has been working hard until midnight lately. I think it’s a good thing. If I go to the capital or not, I want my brother to be the lord.

I’ve heard that during the battle at the lord’s mansion, Mizuki-san was hit with a paralytic drug and was in bed for three days. I was also in the hospital at the time, so when we met at the guild, we both felt awkward ……

“…… I’ve been curious for a while because Makina is pushing herself. Here, even now.”

I ran down to the ground field below the slope and went in front of Makina. I could sense that Luciela was following me behind.

“Are you okay? I’m sorry, I pushed you a little too hard.”

“- No, this happens all the time in a fight …… Hey, it’s Lars-kun, what’s up?”

“I saw Makina, so I came by to check on you .”

“Oh ……!”

I used magic to quickly heal her scraped and bleeding elbow. Makina stood up with a smile on her face and told me.

“Thank you! Now, seniors, let’s continue!!”

“Fufu, We’ve just finished one set of practice, so let’s take a break. Huh? Teacher?”

The girl who was called senior noticed a male teacher running towards her and shouted out. Luciela and I had no chance to leave, so we just stood there.

As I watched from afar as all the members of the Holy Knight Club gathered to listen to the teacher, I heard a resounding cheer after a while.

“I wonder what happened?”

“Now then …… wait, you’re not going home?”

“Luciel is helping out at home today, so I’ll take my time. Oh, she’s coming over here.”

I thought that that’s not the problem, but as Makina came over to me looking happy, I decided to ignore it for now and ask Makina about it.

“What’s up? You look so happy, though?”

“Listen, Lars-kun! The holy knight club’s not like other club activities, it has a rivalry game with other countries, and I’ve been chosen to participate in that game!”

By the way, the other clubs include the magic research club and the tool making club, and if you apply, you can even establish a new club. It seems that the Holy Knight Club exists in other countries as well, and I think it was created by the academy in order to have friendly competition with academies in other countries.

I think it’s pretty amazing that the youngest Makina is going to participate in the competition of such a holy knight club.

“Where are you going to fight?”

“In here, Oblivion Academy! Now that it’s like this, I’m going to have to practice more. The game is next week, so if you want, y-y-you can come to cheer, okay……!”

“Yeah, we’ll all be there. Well, I’ll be going now.”

“Yeah!”

Makina returned to the others with a smile. I’m going to the guild, too, I thought as I walked up the slope and out of the academy.

“…… What is it?”

“Stare …… isn’t that girl cute?”

I don’t know what he’s trying to say, so I start walking in silence. To be honest, it’s obvious that if you get involved with Luciela, you’re going to get into a lot of trouble.

It seems that she kissed me in the hospital room, and Luciel blamed her for it, and I also found out that she likes my brother. I don’t want to have anything to do with it, to the extent that I’ve banned myself from visiting her until the ruckus is over, with Nora being surprised about it and brother looking indescribably confused.
