As the dragon roared, we sensed that we were in serious trouble and began to think about escaping with Verna-sensei, as we had originally planned. At that moment, Grace-sama thrusts her sword at the dragon and becomes enraged.

“I’m the First Princess of Luitzar, Shiina. The princesses you have been seeking are all here. Tell me why.”

“Oh! There’s Verna-sensei!”

You can see Verna-sensei muttering as she peeks out from behind a rock, and Nora shouts in delight. We let out a sigh of relief that she’s alive.

Then, as if it was going to attack us immediately, the dragon stopped roaring and started talking.

When Verna-sensei shouted sadly, the dragon looked at Verna-sensei and shivered slightly.

“My name is Verna. The Kivalite Empire’s dictatorial emperor was overthrown 450 years ago, and has been replaced by the Luitzar Kingdom, a peaceful country of knights.”

Tigre-sensei seemed to been have mistaken by the dragon for someone else, and the dragon sat there with an understandable sigh. The air was tense, and I wondered if I could escape while I still could. But right after that, the dragon opened its eyes and roared again.

“So this is how it’s going to end up ……! What are you going to do, you bastard!”

“W-What are you talking about!?”

As Grace-sama raises her voice that sounds like screaming, Tigre-sensei shouted at the dragon.

“……! You idiot! What’s the point in doing that! This time, you will die. Humans have been training too, and if they prepare properly, even an ancient dragon is not an impossible opponent!”

The dragon waved its tail in anger. The knights were blown away by the tail, which was as thick as a giant tree.

“Lars, you guys take Verna and run!”

Mom shouted, and before Tigre-sensei could finish everything he said, he ran out and confronted the dragon. The other knights returned fire and attacked, but just before the attack hit, something like a magic circle appeared and was repelled. Is that ……?

“Knights, this thing is constantly putting up magical barriers! You can’t break it with a half-hearted attack! Take the princess and retreat!”

The thirty knights who came with us charged at the dragon, grunting despite what Professor Tigre-sensei said. Tigre-sensei clicks his tongue and launches an onslaught to get them to attack him.

Its leg was cut and the dragon grunted. He hits Tigre-sensei with his fist, and blows the knight away with his tail. He’s strong …… It’s not like I can do anything to it even if I use magic …… Then Verna-sensei, who came out from behind the rock to use her healing magic, shouted.

“Tigre-sensei!”

I shake my head, not wanting to leave him behind, but my mother pulls my arm and joins us. The knights also crawled to the only entrance to this large place.

One of the knights gave the signal, and all the magic-using knights attacked at once with magic. However, even advanced magic is blocked by the magic barriers and disperses.
