“Ahhhh …… that was tough because even mom’s medicine didn’t help at all ……”

“Are you okay? Lars’ took a long time, didn’t it? I’m glad you got better before the first day of school.”

“I’m sorry …… Sarge told me it would have been better if I hadn’t gone to your room ……”

Today is the first day of school after the long vacation at the academy. The cold that Nora has spread has taken down not only me and my brother, but also Luciel, Kudelica, Ryuuze, and Yogus.

I heard that Mom had been going around to everyone’s house to bring medicine. The hospital where Retzel was staying was open with another person, but it was almost certainly Nora’s work, so we paid for the medicine this time.

“I heard I had the worst, I hope everyone is able to come today.”

When I looked up at the sky and said that, Nora walked around in front of me and said.

“If you’re here, do you want to play with Sarge?”

“I’ll do that. He said that there’s a present, after all.”

“Yeah, yeah!”

Nora took my hand with a smile, and with her free hand, she took my brother’s hand and walked off with a flower in each hand. I’m sure I’ve said this before, but I’m going to remove my hand softly.

“Oh, …… why are you taking it off?”

“You’re my brother’s girlfriend, so you have to hold hands with him rather than me, right? Right, brother.”

As soon as we entered the class, it was Helena who called out to us, as we hadn’t seen each other once during the break. We both nodded and laughed, and Helena opened her mouth.

“I wanted to finish my homework, too. I was really disappointed when Kuu came to invite me …… I just barely made it, after all.”

“Me too. I’m sorry for what I did to Luciel-chan and the others.”

“Ahaha, it looks like you passed your cold to them. Well, it seems like everyone got better for now.”

Helena changed who she’s looking and I looked over to see Ryuuze, Yogus, Kudelica and Luciel entering the room. They were all transferred at the same time as me, but they had managed to heal. Nora ran out of the room and jumped on Luciel and Kudelica.

“Thank God! You made it!”

“Yes! It was a little painful, but I’m better now!”

“I was so nervous that it would spread to my sister ……”

Behind Luciel, who was laughing as she said this, that thing was there. And then she shakes Nora’s shoulder and said.

“You! I heard that you transferred it to Dedite-kun, not to mention Luciel!?”

“Ow ow!?”

“Sis, Nora-chan had a hard time with her cold, so please forgive her, okay? And since you were resting at Dedite’s and Lars’ house, it’s bound to spread.”

Luciela took her hand off Nora’s shoulder and gritted her teeth at Luciel’s astute defense. I don’t know why I feel so disappointed when her face should be as pretty as Luciel’s.

“Gununu ……”

“I’m sorry.”

“It’s okay. Dedite-kun has already gone to his class, right?”

Nora apologized, and then Luciela said something like that. We nodded, and she leaves the classroom. But then, as if she suddenly remembered, she stopped and looked back.

“…… is there a meeting in the guild club today?”

“Oh, yes. I had to tell Helena that I was going to play with Sarge today if everyone could get together. We’ll meet at Verna-sensei’s house once the school is over, I guess?”

I said, and Helena thought for a moment before answering. Then Ryuuze cleared his sleepy head and opened his mouth.

“Oh, really? …… Yeah, I’m good today♪.”

“Oh, I can finally see a dragon ……!”

When Luciela hears that, she just says, “Okay,” and leaves. Then Yogus and Kudelica, who had been silently watching the situation, looked at each other and spoke.

“Luciela-san seems quiet today ……”

“She’s alternately looking at Nora-chan and Lars-kun, but I wonder why?”

I don’t know either, but I definitely felt her gaze.

Well, I’m sure she’s jealous of brother and Nora anyway, so we stopped the conversation after that, and Urka, Makina, and the three people who didn’t catch Jack’s cold also arrive, bringing everyone together. 

I reconfirmed once again that I would play with Sarge during lunchtime, and everyone agreed, so I told Verna-sensei during our afternoon class.

“So, I’ll stay with you. Tigre …… -sensei, what will you do?”

“…… I’m going to go too. I’d be worried if something happened, after all.”

As Tigre-sensei prepares for his next class, Jack approaches with a perverted smile on his face.

“Tigre-sensei just want to be with Verna-sensei, right?”

“Yes, of course. You’ll want to be with your girlfriend, you know? Dedite and Nola are two good examples.”

“Ugeh …… You’re not embarrassed at all, huh ……”

We laughed as Jack easily loses and returns. Tigre-sensei is too straightforward, so Verna-sensei is also troubled. My brother and Nora is being made fun of too, but I think they’re pretty level-headed too. 

In the meantime, it was after school, and my brother and I went back to the mansion to pick up Sarge and change clothes, and everyone went back home.

” — Everyone said that the teachers were like my brother and Nora.”

“…… heh~, I’m glad they see me that way, though ……”

Nora went to the garden to fetch Sarge, we waited at the gate and talked together. Suddenly, my brother’s face clouds over and he says something outrageous to me.

“…… Lars, what do you think of Nora? Do you resent the fact that I took her first ……?”

“What!?”

Suddenly, he says something like that, and I make a strange noise. I didn’t know what he meant, so I asked him back.

“No …… what’s wrong with you all of a sudden? Brother said he’s going to take Nora as his wife, and I’m just going to watch him do it, you know? I think she’s cute, and I’m impressed that brother noticed that she was a girl when she was little. I felt frustrated when I was little because I didn’t notice, but now Nora is more like a sister than a lover, you know?”

I didn’t want to lie to him, so I said what I was thinking. In fact, I can’t imagine myself as a lover with Nora at all. I think of it that much, that’s why brother and Nora are together and I think that they look good together.

“…… Lars is better than me–“

“Sorry for the wait! Sarge was napping, so I had a hard time waking him up.”

“Y-Yeah, welcome back …… Shall we go then, brother?”

“Yeah, let’s go.”

“Let’s hold hands♪.”

My brother was about to say something, but was interrupted just as Nora came back. They walked in front of me hand in hand. My brother was smiling, but I got the impression that he was somewhat confused. Then Sarge comes up on my head.

“Oh, you can tell? It’s strange since morning. Well, I told him what’s on my mind, but I don’t know ……”

“You were sleeping, though …….”

…… There’s a good chance that brother has something on his mind. Should I ask him first or wait for him to tell me …… That’s what I’m thinking about.

While puzzling over a problem for which there is no immediate answer, we meet up with Luciel, Kudelica, and Makina along the way. I decided to prioritize the fun part for now, and headed to Verna-sensei’s house.
