A chill went down her spine and she quickly tried to call out for someone. The sun was setting and there was no traffic, but Luciel’s house was close by. She thought that the store would still be open and help would come.

“Someone–!?”

“Oops, I can’t stand it when people yell.”

“Ugh ……!?”

Then, one of the two men who had initially connection with her punched Basleigh in the stomach to stop her from screaming. Basleigh coughed and crawled after them, carrying a burlap bag containing Luciel.

“All right, we’re leaving, too. We’re done with this town.”

“Stop, right, there ……! Guoh!?”

“You have it hard too, teacher! Goodbye!”

The last one kicks the fallen Basleigh, and they both run off.

“!”

Basleigh unleashes her magic as she falls and stabs the man in the back.
