CH 323

As night fell, we made our way to the back entrance of the theater, just like last night. I thought Aina might be sleeping, but she was up late and excited to explore the theater again, so she was up and ready to go. I thought she was like a schoolgirl on summer vacation, but that’s a secret.

“Listen, don’t leave my side, okay?”

“Kuoon♪.”

I asked Makina to hold Ash in her arms to help ease the fear. As for Ash, he is in a good mood with his yellow scarf, so he is being carried quietly. I’ll take care of Sephiro and the little snow tiger, and Sarge will take care of Aina.

“Hmmm, but I can’t leave Aina alone, can I? Well, let’s think about it after we reach there.”

“I can go alone, you know?”

“I guess so ……”

The members are Me, Makina, Aina, Urka, Helena, Milfy, Fath-san and Sarge. Can we split up into three groups with this? I’m thinking about this for a while and we arrived at the back door. Milfy and Helena were waiting for us there, just as I had announced.

“Yeah. It looks like you’re going with me, so please take care of me, Milfy-san. If there are any ghosts, I’ll use my skills to deal with them, so call out to me.”

“Ah, yes!”

When Urka smiled, Milfy replied with a blush that was visible even in the dark. Makina pokes her with her elbow to distract her from the warm look in Helena’s eyes.

“Let’s go then. Lars, what are you going to do?”

“Oh, let’s just go to Kleinert-san’s place for now. We ask him about what we missed yesterday.”

“Nyaan!”

“Fufu, I’m sure Tilia-chan and the others will be surprised when I tell them I met a ghost.”

Aina sniffs as she mysteriously boasts. Nina’s son, Trim-kun, is a bit of a wimp, so he might not talk to you for a while ……

Leaving such a future little sister aside, I immediately headed to the office where Kleinert-san was. But–

“Good evening, is Kleinert-san here?”

“There’s no answer ……”

I knocked and called out several times, but there was no answer, and the door was still locked. As I was scratching my head and trying to figure out what to do, Fath-san raised her hand and called out to me.

“Lars, can I talk to you? The ghost is here, and we’d better take action. We can talk later, you know. He may have left on an errand.”

“Hmmm, you’re right …… All right, well, let’s get this search started. The members are …… Me, Aina, and Sarge. Urka and Milfy and Fath-san. Makina and Helena.”

“La-Lars, you won’t go with us?”

“Sorry, Makina. With the members we have now, this is the best we can do. Even though Urka is here, we can’t just leave him alone with Milfy, an amateur, and we can’t leave Helena alone, can we? Ash, take care of Makina.”

“I’m thinking of going together with Helena. I want to look around, mainly behind the scenes. Helena, what do you think?”

“I’m fine with it as long as Lars is fine with it.”

Fath-san seems to have a hunch about something, doesn’t she? I nodded and made the change, because there was definitely something on that side that was bothering me. 

“Then, Urka and Milfy, and Sarge. Makina is with me.”

“Makina-oneechan, we’re going together!”

“Yeah, that’s good.”

“K-Kuoon ……”

“Ash is going to collapse, so you need to loosen your strength a bit. Well then, we’ll go downstairs, and Urka and the others will take care of the place where the ghost appeared upstairs.”

I said to Urka as I stroked Ash, who was crushed and limp with joy, and he laughed as he held Sarge in his hands.

“Okay, Lars. Then, I’m sorry you won’t be together with Aina, Sarge.”

“How reliable. Let’s go, Milfy-san.”

“Yes!”

Urka and the others walked off to the second floor, followed by Fath-san with Helena.

“We’ll go this way, right, Helena?”

“Yeah, do you want to go to the waiting room or something?”

“Yes. Let’s go.”

Helena winked as she followed Fath-san, and we started to move.

“We’ll start with the main hall. Aina, don’t get separated, okay?”

“Yes!”

“I wonder if it’ll show up ……? Oh, Ash is soothing me ……”

“Kuoon♪!”

Now, despite Makina’s concerns, I think we’ll probably end up striking out.

I’m sure Urka will take care of the ghosts, but I’m more concerned about Fath-san. If my prediction is correct, this theater is in a bit of a bad situation.

“I’m opening it, Lars-niichan!”

“A-Aina-chan, aren’t you afraid ……?”

“I think it’s less scary than Tilia-chan’s place at night, though? Eii!”

Aina vigorously opens the door of the main hall and sees a stage that is as bright as ever. The ghosts of a fat man and a skinny man, huh ……

I’m sure Fath-san will be fine, but what about Helena? Well, she used to be in A-Class, so she should be fine.
