The scream from earlier was definitely Kleinert-san’s. The voice came from his office, and he was probably in his room.

However, the voice echoing down the hallway, which was quiet but still a good distance away, was enough to let me know that his life was in danger. I arrived at the office as fast as I could and took a peek inside the open room.

“Who the hell are you people ……? And where did you come from?”

In the middle of the room, two men wearing eyeglasses were talking with daggers pointed at the buttocks of Kleinert-san. So their purpose is robbery …… It’s not hard to subdue the two of them with their backs turned to me.

The man who was on one knee grabbed Kleinert-san by the chest and swung the dagger down with his other hand. I’ve already grabbed the arm holding the dagger being swung down.

“I’m surprised there’s a robbery happening in the back. Kleinert-san, are you okay?”

“Ohhhhh! Lars-dono!”

I was already approaching with Invisible, so I twisted the arm of the man with the dagger and kicked the other man away. Of course, the direction he kicked was near the entrance …… which means–

“Makina! The man who just rolled away, restrain him!”

“Okay! I’m not afraid of living people, after all!”

I shouted as I sensed the presence of Makina just arriving, and the lively Makina emerged from the shadows and knocked down the man with the eye patch.

“I see, so the scream earlier was from these guys attacking him. It’s a shame, though, it’s you’re bad luck that we had to be here.”

“I thought you guys …… went to the Hall ……”

The man who stares at Sarge, not surprised by his question. Don’t talk to me like you know what you’re saying, you’re saying that, but when you’re committing robbery, whatever the reason is, it’s not something you can say. 

With this in mind, I got Kleinert-san to stand up and opened his mouth. 

“I’m glad we made it in time. I didn’t expect these guys, but I got to the bottom of the ghost disturbances. The patrolman were the main culprits.”

“Is that you, Maido ……!? How could you, a serious person, do such a thing ……”

“……”

“He was going to attack me, you know?”

“Muuu ……”

Kleinert-san looks at Maido and the others that Fath-san and the others are holding with a sullen look on his face. Then, he continued to look at the ghosts and talk about them.

“So, these three are the ghosts from the theater, but I heard there are many more. We still have some work to do, but for today, can we just hand them over?”

“Of course. There’s also the case with those bandits, so let’s call the vigilante quickly.”

–After this, the walls of the warehouse were sealed up, and the theater was carefully searched again to make sure there were no problems. But still, it’s unlucky to be captured so easily after a year of work. Rather than that, I guess they can’t do anything wrong after all.
