“Damn, what’s with this guy ……?”

Jack, Luciel, and Luciela, who were working separately, were chasing the Gospel’s Descent in plain clothes, but the person they were chasing suddenly ran off towards somewhere at the same time as the sound of fireworks.

The three of them immediately tried to catch the person, but when they noticed a commotion at the exit of the town, they turned their eyes and saw a large number of goblins and monsters spreading across the town, where they had appeared from, so they were fighting with weapons in their hands.

“Take it easy, Luciel! The Sarge gear you got was a hat and a breastplate, right? Get behind us and cover us.”

“O-Okay! Next to you, Sis!”

“Sei! Whew ……. It seems that the people from the guild are fighting too, but there are too many of them. Where the hell did they come from ……? Was it the fireworks?”

“There’s no time to think about it, we have to protect those who can’t fight! Luciela, can I collaborate with your skill?”

“My [Amplification]? What are you going to do?”

“This is what I’m going to do [Collaboration]! !”

“I see, and then ……!”

Jack grabbed Luciela’s hand and used magic that he normally doesn’t use to push the goblins, giant bees and rampaging boars in front of him out of the way, while Luciela immediately used [Amplification] on herself to choke out the goblins.

“Jack-kun, you’re amazing!”

“I’m sure Lars can finish them off in an instant, but this is that best I can do …… What the hell do these guys plan to do in town?”

As Luciel rushed out, she saw an old woman about to be attacked by a giant bee. She was just strolling around the square when this commotion broke out, and there were screams everywhere.

Luciel hits the goblin with the axe with a fireball and kills it.

Luciel uses her magic to control the approaching monsters, and returns to Jack and Luciela’s side. She could see Jack and Luciela struggling to keep them away from Luciel.

“That’s right! It’s time for the teachers to come out …… We can’t do it if it’s just us alone.”

“Sis! !”

“Whoa, thanks, Luciel. Hah …… It’s a little tough.”

They can see about fifty of them, and Luciela muttered to herself with a disgusted look on her face. Since goblins attack in packs, it’s no surprise that they are grouped together. If they gather, you can expect to find at least this many.

However, I’ve never heard of such a large number of goblins attacking in a single group, so the three of us were wondering why they were attacking us as we killed the monsters.

Jack uses his shortsword well to parry the goblins’ weapons and strike when they are off balance, focusing on a single blow. Luciela swung her long sword in all directions, slashing down on the arms of seemingly unimportant weapons and crushing the heads of monsters with slashes.

“Kyah!? Now you did it!”

“Be careful, Sis! Kyan ……!? !”

Luciel also intercepted with his magic, backing away to avoid being surrounded. Then, Luciela opened her mouth in annoyance.

“Oh, geez! There’s no end to them! Jack, charge at them all at once!”

“I’ll die, you know!? But, if we don’t use magic or something to destroy them all at once, we’ll end up surrounded ……!”

“Ah!”

Then Luciel made a small noise and pulled a red gem out of her pocket.

“What’s wrong, Luciel!”

“B-Back then, the customer who came with Leor-san taught me how to put magic into jewelry! I can’t do it yet, but I had some jewels made for me then!”

“Seriously, what kind of magic!?”

“I-I’ll try it! Yeah!”

Luciela throws a jewel the size of an adult’s fist into the crowd of goblins, who look at the beautiful jewel and reach out to grab it. And when the goblin is about to grab it, Luciel closes her eyes shouts!

“Release! !”

” “What!?” “

Hearing the name of Luciel’s magic, Jack and Luciela panicked and got down on the spot with the old lady and Luciel. And at that moment, an explosion rang out!

” “Gugyaaah!?” “

The goblins at the center of the explosion were blown away without a trace, and the monsters and goblins around them were blown away by the blast and slammed into houses and trees, fainting or dying.

“Wow, t-that surprised me ……”

“I’m the one who’s surprised!? Explosion is advanced level magic, isn’t it?”

“But they’re having a hard time attacking. Maybe we should go help out in the residential area while we still can.”

In the direction Jack looked in …… for some reason, the goblins were moving as if to make way. Shortly after, a Gospel’s Descent wearing a robe and carrying a burlap sack ran through them.

The goblins then blocked the way for the next pair of runners, and Jack shouted out.

“It’s Ryuuze!? Luciela, let’s meet up with Ryuuze.”

“Yes! If you don’t want to die, get out of the way! I’ll kill you even if you move!”

“You sound like a bad person, so let’s not do that, okay?”

Luciela uses [Amplification] to intimidate the goblins with her sword and open up a path for them to follow, eventually meeting up with Ryuuze and Naru.

“Ryuuze!”

“Jack! What the hell is this!?”

“I don’t know, what’s your situation?”

“Have you seen a guy carrying a burlap sack? Tilia-chan’s been kidnapped and she’s in that sack.”

“R-Really!? He just went that way!”

“That’s not good …… If Tigre-sensei finds out about this ……”

Luciela closed her eyes and thought of the tragedy.

“This is going to be interesting. I don’t know if it’s the Great Fortune’s Descent or what, but we’ve got to teach them a lesson!”

“I, I wonder if it’ll be okay …… Oh, grandma, please hide in a nearby house.”

“Thank you, and be careful, young ladies.”

Luciel smiled at the old lady’s words, and Ryuuze and the others joined her in kicking the goblins to the ground and following the Gospel’s descent.

–And when they arrived near the exit, they finally confronted the ringleader, Erekhim.
