It took two of us, Eagle-san and I, to fight back against Kemuda, who had become a spearman without a horse.

When Kemuda cut the word in the middle, he lightly prevented Eagle-san’s whole body blow, which was approaching behind him, with his lance.

It appeared to be just a light swing of the lance, but Eagle-san was blown away. He said he was already showing his skill, but did he really mean it?

As soon as I was blown away, Eagle-san unleashed his special sword technique, and his shield, which he must have been proud to have received with his injured left arm, was split in half, and Kemuda’s expression of composure finally disappeared. 

“…… I see, I’ve been thinking that I should just be wary of the kid’s strength, but it seems that the knight is considerably good too …… Looks like I’m gonna have to change my mind.”

The greatsword and the lance clashed and pushed each other with force.

But the moment Kemuda said “Greed”, his own blood and mine that was scattered on the ground, were swallowed by Kemuda’s left shoulder.
