“I’m home.”

“Welcome home, Lars. Ash, too.”

“Kuoon♪!”

On the evening of the day I reported to my parents, I returned to my home in the royal capital and called out to them at the door, where Makina welcomed me home. I took Ash in my arms after wiping his feet, and when she noticed that no one else was following, she tilted her head and asked.

“Huh, where’s Aina-chan?”

“She’s on the town of Gust’s side, though? She’s over there now that the house is back in one piece.”

“I see, I thought she was with you since Ash came back. Is everything okay?”

“…… Well, she got tired of playing and we came over here while she was sleeping. It could be a big problem later on. But Sarge is over there and he’ll take care of it somehow.”

“I wonder if she’ll be okay. Oh, Master, Lars is back.”

When I went to the living room, Fath-san put down the tea she was drinking, raised her hand to me and smiled. She’s sitting on the couch, which is a bit unmannerly ……

“Oh, you’re back! It’s good to know that the thing with the town of Gust is finished. Well, it seems a bit lonely now that everyone’s gone. Oh, Ash, welcome back.”

“Kuon!”

“Dad and the others and a lot of friends came over, after all. I know it was noisy, but it does make you feel lonely. Anyway, you can’t fix that tone of voice?”

I asked as I watched Fath-san take Ash from Makina and pet him. Fath-san buried her face in Ash’s back and let out a sigh before saying.

“Yeah, I guess I’m still in a state of excitement. I’m trying to calm myself down, but I guess I still have a lot of training to do.”

“I think it’s great because it’s age-appropriate. Your techniques are sharp too.”

“Well, since I’m young again, I can still be strong, so I guess it’s okay!”

I sat down in my chair, smiling at Fath-san, and Makina, who had brought me a cup of tea, asked me about it.

“Here, for Lars …… So, now that you’ve decided to go to the Berias Kingdom, are you going to kill Apollos right away?”

“Well …… wait, isn’t that too much, Makina!? Well, I came back in the evening to talk about it with Vertical. I’m going to be checking the distance between Everlide and Berias, as well as investigating their strength and the other ten chief priests.”

“The distance?”

“Yes. If we cause a commotion in the Berias Kingdom, there is a possibility that Everlide will send reinforcements, right? That’s why I want to get Everlide back first or calculate the time when the reinforcements will arrive.”

The demons can’t touch Apollos, but we can defeat him, but conversely, since we can’t rely on the demons, our strength is quite small, so it’s not convenient for us to go on a rampage.

There is one more concern that I haven’t mentioned to Makina and the others, but I think that if we don’t take into account the fact that the demons are controlled by Apollos, it will hurt us when the time comes.

“I wish I could go there, though.”

“I think it would great if Fath-san would go to retake the Everlide. I’d like Tigre-sensei to go as well, but I’ve asked him not to go to Everlide, where soldiers from the Berias Kingdom are stationed, because there might be people who remember his face, like Hitzrite. So, I feel more comfortable with Fath-san, who is just as strong as teacher, leading the group.”

“Hmmm, alright. Ryuuze and the others are interesting people, so I will protect them well.”

“I’m counting on you. In the meantime, I’m going to the Vertical to talk about it, but what are you going to do?”

I finished my tea, sat up from my chair and asked them.

“Of course I’m coming! I haven’t talked to those two demons much and since we’re going to be working together, I’d like to get to know their personalities.”

“Me too. I’d like to fight them a little, but is that fine?”

“Outside of town, maybe. I’ve seen dragons with that kind of strength.”

“Hmmm, okay, I’ll get ready then♪.”

While they were getting up and going back to their rooms to get ready to go out, Ash and I decided to go out into the garden to check on Radia and the others.

“Good morning, Radia.”

“Grrruuu.”

“Kuoon.”

“Do you want to stay home, Ash? Why don’t you stay with your mother for a while?”

“Kuon.”

Ash jumped down and climbed on Radia’s stomach and buried his face in her.

“I’m going to fill the bath, so I’ll leave the house to you. Schneider, do you want to go for a walk?”

“Grr!”

“Woof!”

Schneider is a bit like a big dog, so unlike Radia, it’s no problem to take him for a walk. I thought it would be a good idea to go to the Monsters’ Garden, so I chose it.

“……”

“You can …… no, it’s nothing. Take care of the house.”

The Sand Turtle came to my feet and looked like it wanted to say something, but I gently placed it on a log chair and walked out of the garden just as Makina and Fath-san had finished changing and were coming out.

“Shall we go, did you lock the door? “

“Yes! Nnnn, it’s a beautiful day, isn’t it? Oh, I see Schneider is your companion today.”

“Arf!”

After patting Schneider’s head and wagging his tail, we started walking to the house where Basleigh-sensei and Retzel were staying. But it’s close by, so we’ll get there soon, though.

As we were walking along, we noticed that the street was noisy.

“Where did you guys come from? You don’t even have money.”

“You have an acquaintance? If so, I’ll get him to pay you back, so tell me where he lives.”

“Lars, you say ……!?”

The uncle called out my name in surprise, so I hurried over to the crowd.

“They said my name too, or rather, this voice is–“

“Ah!?”

When my name and Makina’s came up, we went over to the crowd and saw–

“Isn’t it Roza!?”

–There was the group of Roza and other humanized dragons standing there with a lot of skewers in their mouths, but …… why are they here ……?

It’s been three days …… or rather, it’s currently updated once every three days!
