Chapter 58 - Violet Hall

Everyone in the room was momentarily taken aback by Ye Hao's declaration.

After Ye Hao spoke with such gravity, Jiang Gaoyi realized the depth of his seriousness.

That is to say, Ye Hao was prepared to confront Wang Zhen.

“Ye Hao, we live in a society governed by law,” Jiang Gaoyi cautioned. “Wang Zhen's criminal actions will be met with legal consequences.”

Ye Hao simply smiled, offering no reply.

Jiang Gaoyi's well-intentioned warning seemed to resonate with Ye Hao, prompting him to reconsider his course of action.

“Let's go,” Lin Rou'er interjected in a firm tone.

Only then did Ye Hao's attention shift to Lin Rou'er.

Upon laying eyes on Lin Rou'er, a line of poetry meant to capture a woman's beauty sprang to Ye Hao's mind.

Yet, he felt that no verse could truly encapsulate Lin Rou'er's allure.

Thanks to the fortifying effects of the Divine Blood, Ye Hao's resolve was steadfast, and he quickly regained his composure.

“Who are you?”

“I'm Lin Rou'er.”

“Lin Rou'er?” Ye Hao echoed, taken aback.

“You know me?” Lin Rou'er, noticing his surprise, inquired.

Ye Hao gently shook his head and responded, “Standing before you, I sensed a formidable presence, which made me question the gentleness of your name.”

“Do you recall saving an elder two months ago?”

“I do.”

“That elder is Lin Tu, my grandfather,” Lin Rou'er explained succinctly. “He awoke an hour ago. Please, come with me to see him.”

“Of course.”

Ye Hao now understood that his recent escape was not thanks to Loong Yuanzhu, but to the Lin family.

As such, he was determined to express his gratitude to them.

Observing the stretch Lincoln before him, Ye Hao was momentarily taken aback.

He had only ever seen such vehicles on television.

“The ladies of Violet Hall are masters of massage. Once you experience it, I assure you, you'll be craving more,” the man in white told Zhuo Jing. “But let's be clear—you're here for a massage, nothing more. Over the years, troublemakers at Violet Hall have ended up with broken legs, thrown out on the street.”

Zhuo Jing jumped in surprise.

Earlier, when he had arrived, a young man in a white robe had given him a brief introduction to Violet Hall.

Violet Hall was one of the three grand mansions in Glento, accessible only to the elite members of society. Without Wei Tuo, Zhuo Jing might never have had the opportunity to set foot in Violet Hall in his lifetime.

The thought had never even crossed Zhuo Jing's mind.

And now, he realized he had nearly caused a disaster.

“I'm so sorry,” Zhuo Jing said, apologizing profusely to Ni Xue beside him.

Ni Xue offered a slight smile and responded, “It's okay.”

Her demeanor suggested that the incident was already forgotten.

Just then, the door to the private room swung open, and Ye Hao entered, grinning from ear to ear.

Upon recognizing Ye Hao, Zhuo Jing's face fell. “How are you here?”

“And who might you be?” Wei Tuo asked, his tone laced with displeasure.

?This was his private room, and Ye Hao was showing him no respect.

Wei Tuo's irritation with Ye Hao stemmed from another reason as well.

It appeared this man was acquainted with Zhuo Jing.

Could Zhuo Jing really be associated with someone influential?

Wei Tuo suspected this man was just another country bumpkin brought here by chance.

Without missing a beat, Ye Hao addressed Zhuo Jing, “I see you recognize me.” He stepped closer, scrutinizing him. “But I'm certain I don't know you.”

“Ye Hao, shouldn't you be at the police station right now?” Zhuo Jing exposed Ye Hao's identity with a pointed question.

Wei Tuo sprang to his feet.

Ye Hao had been arrested; his presence here was inconceivable.

Casting a sidelong glance at Wei Tuo, Ye Hao asked, “You're Wei Tuo, aren't you?”

“How did you get here?” In asking, Wei Tuo inadvertently confirmed his own identity.

“That's none of your concern,” Ye Hao said with a sly smile, stepping closer to Wei Tuo. “But now, you're going to answer my questions.”

“Where are Violet Hall's security personnel?” Wei Tuo's unease grew as he pointed at Ye Hao. “Why have you allowed him to intrude upon a guest's room?”
